They were out of blue crabs but failed to tell us till we ordered. Normally not a big deal, but something you should mention if you are advertising yourself as a crab house. As soon as I sat down, I was scared we would have a terrible night but the good food and fun atmosphere permeating from the bar made it fun. Hoping that this place tightens up a bit soon. He was especially attracted to the beautiful flowers and leaves that were painted on the walls of the restaurant. The hostess ushered us to a special, capacious table in a quiet nook of the restaurant. In that space we had an amazing dining experience. The waitress, Olivia, was kind, attentive, and overall an amazing server. Albeit she was busy, she went out of her way to make ours a special dining experience. The food, was absolutely delicious. Each member of our party of four enjoyed our respective meals. I had a fish sandwich that was absolutely scrumptious. Throughout the meal, Olivia returned to the table many times to make sure that we were attended to, and satisfied with our meals. As I mentioned previously, it was my friend's son's birthday, and we came specifically to this restaurant to celebrate it. We were absolutely astounded when our server brought a scrumptious chocolate layer cake with a birthday candle for the birthday person. She also organized the staff to sign a card with birthday felicitations. Such a kind gesture on her part! In summary, I highly recommend Burton's Grill as it is an amazing restaurant. I ordered my parrillada medium rare. When I went home, most of the meat was rare. My mother called the store location to see what had happened. Our server had picked up the phone and apparently was the manager of the shift. We had let him know what had happened. Instead of offering to fix the mistake or even ask us to bring it back in (which we would've if he had asked us to), he decided to explain to my mother the terms of medium-rare and how it is "crudo", but medium-rare in spanish is medio crudo. He then, told us to google it if we wanted to know what medium rare is, like we haven't dined in at a restaurant and ordered steak medium rare before. (The image is of what most of the meat looked like in the inside and you can see we were trying to cook it more in the back) Apparently, this is not new for them to serve meat a lot more rare than they are meant to.
