This fast casual poke place hits the spot! It is super clean with about six tables. Pro tip: order one of the signature bowls and then add in your additional favorite toppings and sauces of choice! I love that the poke is so fresh here from the fish to the veggies!

Edamame, imitation crab, ginger, salmon, tuna... delicious

Poke Bros. has been my go to since they've opened and I love how welcoming and friendly they are every time. Additionally their food is always so fresh and they are always very open to making the bowls exactly how you'd like. They offer multiple starters such as white or brown rice, you have a multitude of toppings to select from and the fish is always so fresh and I love have they have some that are plain and others that are marinated. The restaurant is always so calm and relaxing if you want that ambiance to just release and enjoy your lunch/dinner. It's never been too loud for me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

    My way!

Met a friend for early lunch and was feeling breakfasty so got white rice, tofu, crab stick, cucumber, edamame, pineapple, mango topped with sweet soy and a sprinkle of tempura flakes and voila - a breakfast bow! Very friendly service! Clean, bright and contemporary store. Great first experience! Not to mention, my company wasn't too shabby

Spicy Tuna, Salmon, crab stick, sushi rice and sriracha aioli.

Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience. It's diner that makes me want to move to Lorton. If you find yourself here one day, be careful. The menu makes you want to try everything. I haven't touch everything yet so I'm definitely coming back to try more. I just hope all these reviews won't mean I can't find my cozy window seat in the future.

The interior is small but a lot of their customers order take-away. They are located in an industrial area so that makes sense. I arrived at lunch time. No issues finding a park. Greeted when I got to the counter to place my order. I wanted something light. I ordered dumplings and miso soup. The staff was very helpful. Food took about 15 minutes. I also picked up a shirt love. Dumplings filled and tasty. The miso soup was your standard fair. It did not have any tofu in it so that was a disappointment. I would definitely return to try their breakfast options.

With FB, you're fortunate to explore a sampling of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai & Vietnamese dishes respectively. The DIFFERENCE from most Asian fusion places is that each dish is a cultural stand alone. For example, if you order Kim Chee fried rice, you'll get a Kim Chee fried rice that you'd get at a Korean restaurant. Fried pork chops? Classic Vietnamese flavors. Their presentation may be a little different, but it is the flavors you'd get at a Vietnamese restaurant. Don't be intimated by the chili next to the menu items...it can be adjusted for the non-spicy friends joining you. The besties said they found a restaurant right down the road from where we live. We were there on a Sunday at 11am. It was fairly empty, but I heard it gets quite busy and I can understand why. They also have a bar so they serve drinks there.

We laughed about the item I wanted to order not being available. They were attentive to the older ladies I was with. No complaints. The server is why this is two stars instead of one. Sadly, the food. Sigh. I know all these fusion places are disappointing, but mom wanted to come here. I asked if I could get the salad I wanted without the beef it comes with, but the answer was no. After reading the way too big menu twice, I ordered what I knew would be an incredibly sad drunken noodle. I'm not sure the restaurant knows what drunken noodle is. Does Fuse Box exist in an alternate pocket dimension where drunken noodle, with no listed fusion on the menu other than a strange "contains peanuts" warning, is drenched in a sweet peanut sauce even though it's listed as spicy with two peppers next to it on the menu? Where the noodles are just weird soggy mush? Where the spiciness rating scale might actually be a sweet sugar scale instead? Yes. Yes it does. Don't eat here. Just don't. I refused to eat my food. And not even mom suggesting it again in the distant future when she thinks I've forgotten, or she's forgotten my reaction to the food, will get me to return.

Service was friendly and completely on point. You gotta love a restaurant when the moment you've drained your ice water, your server is immediately there with a refill. Taiko has a huge menu, pretty much catering to anything you might hanker. I noticed that in addition to traditional Japanese fare, there were Chinese and Thai dishes as well. For starters we went with the shumai, miso soup and harumaki. The shumai was very good, though I'm a little less certain about the vinegary dipping sauce that came with the shumai. The miso soup was good and we liked the finely diced tofu in it. Harumaki are crispy spring rolls, and we liked these too. We also ordered an eel roll. It had been broiled and with the sauce on it was very tasty. JP's entrée was the Pork Katsu bento box. The pork katsu was excellent and so were the California rolls that came with the box. The bento box also came with miso soup and a side salad. My entrée was the Beef Udon. Very attractively presented, it had a smoky flavor and was packed with beef along with bits of asparagus and zucchini. It was pretty good. We were pleasantly surprised at the end of our meal to receive complementary scoops of a delicious vanilla ice cream. Considering the excellent service, big menu and good food, I'm going with five stars.

Nope.

The atmosphere: The restaurant is spacious, and I like it when the outdoor area is open since it has a shaded setup and a fire pit. Otherwise, there's still plenty of indoor seating. The food: We started with the Korean Fried Chicken in the soy garlic flavor, which was probably my favorite part of the meal. It came out hot and crispy. We also ordered two rolls, the Double Toro Roll and the Double Salmon Roll. Both were drenched in a Japanese dressing or soy-based sauce, which caused them to fall apart almost immediately after picking them up. The flavor was overly sour and salty, making it hard to taste the freshness of the fish. Overall, the balance of flavors felt completely off. We also tried the Spicy Crunchy Tuna Bites, and to our surprise, the only crunchy element was a small part of the outer rice shell. Everything else was chewy and overloaded with mayo, so it wasn't a favorite for us. The service: The service was a bit touch-and-go throughout the meal.
