Most of the staff are nice, but the owner does not quite seem to care about what his customers think as he is on the ruder side. However, the most outstanding staff is the older sweet looking lady who is incredibly kind. I wanted to make a review to to praise her (I wish I got her name!!) 2 scoops= small 3 scoops=medium 4 scoops=large Usually, the 2 scoops is enough to fill me up--but I'll always accidentally order the 3 scoops instead. I do not get their spicy meats because they're all cut up and mushy. Get their non-spicy one-- they're more fresh and at no extra charge. The rest are charge an extra $1.50 a scoop. So if you do not like mushy meat, I recommend you not to get the spicy ones. The sweet lady who helped me out gave me a small sample to try (for one of the protein) when it seemedl like I had trouble picking which protein to pick. She gave me a generous amount of toppings (the size of the scoops) when other people here usually give smaller scoops. The price is quite expesnive for what you get here sometimes. I like how this poke place actually mixes your protein into the sauce for you while others just squirt their suace on top. I like how spacous it is inside, and it gives a clean feeling. I enjoy eating my meals there on sunny days. The Poke Bar isn't the best Poke place, but it's not bad for Kent Poke. I have decent experiences here, and there are defintely worse ones out there, hence the 4 stars. I just had a really good bowl this time and wanted to share!

The cost of the food was more than fair for what we received. Also, the customer service was great. The gentleman assisting us was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back for more.

My daughter ordered their Chicken Katsu plate and mine was the Kalua Pig plate. My daughter enjoyed the katsu and it was such generous portion. However I didn't enjoy my kalua pork. It had an amazing smokey aroma but the taste was nothing but just salt. The side dishes were very tasty however. At first, I was trying my best to eat it with rice but the salt in the end really got to me. Especially I have high BP, so I decided to let the lady behind the counter know. It was very nice of her to remake it but it was still very salty. By then, I didn't want to eat it anymore. She offered to remake it for the third time as the chef was feeling bad about it. I told her, it's OK. My mouth only tasted salt and I had chucked down so much water including the free drinks she offered. I was already full. My daughter tasted it and said it was OK and told me she would eat my kalua pork and I could have her leftover half of chicken katsu. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. It will be our dinner if we can't find a restaurant open.

I opted to try one of the premade ones (forgot the name), and it was pretty yummy. However the amount of food you get in your burrito seems highly dependent on which staff makes it - my friend's burrito was a lot bigger than mine. Burritos were also pretty pricey, around $18-20. Not somewhere I'd frequent a lot because of the price, but worth checking out.

One of their popular selections was the Sumo Crunch, made with a wrap of nori and a layer of rice, containing a filling of crunchy shrimp tempura, surimi crab, cucumber, avocado, and crispy onions, and the entire burrito was rolled in pink-colored tempura flakes for even more crunch. The combination of the creamy and crunchy ingredients came together nicely, and the spicy, unctuous sriracha mayo added delicious flavor and brought everything together. We also got a Poke Salad, which came with a base of greens and a selection of unlimited toppings including carrots, cabbage, onions, corn, edamame, cucumbers, radishes, seaweed salad, avocado, and crispy onions, all of which could also be added to the sushi burrito! Overall, this was a great mall food court option for a creative and tasty bite.
