Build Your Own Large Poke Bowl + Miso soup

While looking for a quick lunch, I landed at Poke Plus. Service was extremely fast, and food was delicious. Given that it was Monday, I was the only customer dining in. But there were many take-out customers coming in and out while I was eating. The portion size was generous and, let's not forget, delicious. It's quite easy to order - There were lots of signs to help you. If you get stuck like I was, the employee at Poke Plus was helpful to guide you through. I will definitely be back for more poke :)

    Badger Bowl

My first time at Poke Plus and my first time having Poke. My daughter took us here for dinner and it was quite good. My daughter suggested the Badger Bowl. It is a little spicy, a two out of ten on any spice meter. It comes with salmon and tuna and was delicious. The employees were working hard and were friendly. This is a small place with only a few tables, but was very clean and well organized. Three Poke bowls and drinks was about $60, which seemed reasonable.

Food was great. Service was great. Location is great. I like the non-chain-coporate vibes of the poke place, right off the freeway in Kenosha. It does feel more like a Chinese fast food restaurant inside, possibly because the owners are Chinese. Poke bowls are customizable, like a subway sandwich, with everything in plain sight. Just point and pick. You can even skip rice and get mix greens (great for keto). I went with the spicy salmon and poke salmon and the flavor was great. All the toppings were fresh and well balanced. The only thing is... the plate that the poke comes in is the lid to the teriyaki bowl. So size is smallish and the bowl (lid) is flimsy. not sure what happens when you order to go. Also if you get rice instead of greens, I don't think the hot rice will be good on this lid. So... while I appreciate the ingenious way of not wasting unused lids... it felt sort of cheap. The teriyaki chicken is also great. Flavors were quite good and everything was made fresh. we didn't ask for it, but the owner came out with cups of water for us as we were eating. He seems to be very observant. Nice touch! Not the most generous portions of food I've had, but fresh, tasty and happy customers!

Randomly stopped here for dinner while traveling. It's a small Subway like place in a strip mall, nothing fancy. We ordered two build your own regular sized poke bowls and a coconut bubble tea. The choices for plentiful and fresh. The eel sauce and the ginger sauces were great. The tea was fantastic. The price was very reasonable for the two of us. We left satisfied and grateful.

Been twice and been very good both times. Realize the house bowls are only in the large size, which for me is a lot of food! Got the signature bowl.

Decided poke was our best option for lunch as we ride the motorcycles from Indianapolis to a Green Bay. This place checked all the boxes. Everything was fresh and delicious. They were even able to assist my sister with her gluten allergy. Check them out!

This has been the best Poke place I've been to in Wisconsin and northern IL !!! The ingredients are incredibly fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable and you get a lot for a poke place. Excellent selection of sauces and toppings. All 5 star! The employees are very kind and always friendly. Highly highly recommend!

Stopped here for lunch one day while I was in the area. I did the order ahead option as I wanted to pick it up quickly. When I got there, they had my order ready and everything was how i asked it to be. I ordered the 2 protein bowl option with spicy tuna and ahi tuna. I didn't expect the spicy tuna to be a pattè-esque consistency. That threw me off a bit, but it was still good. I like the ahi tuna chunks though too. I didn't wish you got a little more as far as the amount of ahi tuna goes. I also added in carrots, broccoli, corn, seaweed salad (extra $) and edamame. Overall, I was really happy with the quality of the food and the freshness. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Great new place in Kenosha. Menu is limited however it is a small location so I didn't expect a huge menu. This was my second visit. First time I had a Poke bowl which was delicious. Today it was the Shrimp Teriyaki with added eel. Equally delicious

Average poke. The tables were extremely dirty. I had to eat in the parking lot. The white rice was not prepared well either.

This lady gives out free food to her friends and she gives pretty large portions, i have went to this place about 4 times hoping i would get another employee working there but it's always the same lady and she always gives the same quality food which is a lot of rice and half of everything else she's supposed to give. SHE GIVES THE TOPPINGS ON THE POLE BOWL WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING she puts half a scoop of everything and sometimes she completely just dosnt add something. I have witnessed her give free food to her friends that come by the store or give them large portions of food that the lid can barely close. I guarantee you she will deny any of these allegations towards how she is working in this place but check the cameras or ask customers and see what they have to say about her. whenever she gives me food/bowl it ALWAYS half full and i know this isn't normal at all becasue the other locations i go to their poke bowl is always full or atleast NEAR the top. Please I recommend someone talk to this lady if things do not change i'd recommend firing her because she's blatantly wasting supplies by giving her friends free food and giving normal customers half of what their supposed to get. Also another thing is that when she's talking to customers she knows she holds up the line by a lot and i mean a lot i have been late coming back to work because of her holding up the line by talking. Her selfish behavior is unacceptable her behavior needs to be seen and something needs to be said. thank you.

Poke Hale was our favorite and yet somewhere along the way it fell off our radar as places to eat. Well, we are back!!! Our order can be easily made online. Hubs and I go with the Build-your-own Bowl. A regular bowl allows 2 proteins and a large bowl allows 3 proteins. We can have a reasonable amount of adds in and toppings. We started with appetizers of edamame, shrimp tempura, and Crab Rangoon. All were really good, there was a good amount of edamame for the order. Everything was fresh and hot! The portions of the poke bowls were generous and filling. The Hale Ginger dressing was SO DELICIOUS!!! Service was friendly and quick. We placed our order online and picked up. The woman at the counter was appreciative of our order, doubled checked to make sure we weren't missing anything, and thanked us for choosing their business. She was so nice! The inside and outside were clean and comfortable. There are tables for dine in. Plenty of space for people to stand without bumping into each other while waiting to order or waiting for our order. We will certainly be back! Not only is this such a well priced meal, it was absolutely delicious! *No pics - I forgot as I was really hungry and it was all really good!

There's also discrepancy in their menu and what they actually have available as it seems they also display items for the the cafe next door. We happened to arrive during happy hour so some menu items were discounted. They also have a complimentary salad bar. We ordered chicken karaage, potstickers, salmon avocado sushi, and I had the katsu sandwich. All the food items we ordered came separately over a span of 20+ minutes, with the sandwich arriving last and cold. Not only did the sandwich come on a cold sourdough bread, the meat also had an unusual texture and so I ended up throwing it out. The other items we ordered were lacking in flavor. The chicken karaage was prepared well but it had no flavor. I'm regret spending money at this establishment.

So we got out of the car and saw someone pull up in front of the restaurant and jump out at 11:59. As soon as the door was unlocked at 12pm, this customer went in, and a few others after them. This is a small joint, and it was already half full by the time we ordered, then sat down (they told us the table at which to sit). I didn't know, but asked, and found out that a salad bar and miso soup are also included. The salad bar was pretty decent, with fresh vegs. They even had French fried onions (my guilty pleasure) and a very good House dressing (ginger vinaigrette). The portions are enormous. The couple next to us got ramen, and it was practically overflowing. We ordered takoyaki (too much food, we didn't need). I had the Pork Katsu bowl and my companion had a Katsu curry. I wished I had ordered the curry -- it looked dark and rich and thick like pudding (not like a boxed curry). They also gave us a bonus piece of chicken karaage which was so large and crispy. I think I'll get the curry next time, or the ramen. We originally came because we were going to get a karaage sando, but get the curry.
