I ordered three things. I ordered the takoyaki. , (octopus balls), , and the Hawaiian Ahi, poke bowl, with Ahi tuna, crab, mango, and assorted veggies, fresh and pickled., over a bed of rice. To drink, I had the pineapple tea, which was on special for only three bucks. The tea was very good. I could taste the tea and the pineapple. I liked the takoyaki. Tender, and you could definitely taste the octopus. The Poké bowl, was also very good. There was a fair amount of protein, the mango was very good, as were both the veggies, both pickled, and otherwise, as well as the toppings. The poke bowl came with jalapeño, and I do not like raw jalapeño. However, I forgot to ask him to leave them out of the bowl. I just picked them out as I got to them. The dish was still good, but every now and then I could still taste the jalapeño. Overall, the meal was good, but I'm taking off one star because of the price. An appetizer, a Poké bowl, and a reduced price drink, and I was out the door a few cents shy of 30 bucks, before tip. Even with good food, that's a bit pricey for a fast casual place. So I wasn't gonna plan on eating here, but I thought that they had Korean corn hotdog with cheese so that peaked my interest and I ordered a set while I was biting into it and gone halfway through. I realize there was no hot in the corn dog while there were two of them I tried both of them. I got food from here two days ago and got really bad food poisoning. I was excited to try it but for $15 before tip, I would've expected much better. Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite Poké places in Stockton!!! The flavors are ALWAYS the best!!! And they are not greedy here they make sure that you are very well fed. And plus the price is phenomenal!!! The Thai tea with Boba are warm so be prepared for that!!!! But they do have some really good sodas in the fridge!!! I didn't take a picture of the Macarons but the macaroons here are so freaking delicious!!!!!!! not only do they have Poké salads they also have Ramen noodles they have wraps along with sushi rolls and signature bowls!!! They need to up their portions, while literally all the protein options are delicious, they're to skimpy with the meat, I'm fine with spending money on quality seafood but just don't cheat me with the portions! I've been a faithful customer since the soft opening (and when I say faithful, I mean it, I think I come here 3-5 times a month) and I can legitimately say it's the most solid poki place in Stockton. It was the first that opened (before Ahi Poki and Super Fish), and yes, it's not Bay Area or SoCal status, but it's definitely the best here in the Central Valley. Pros: - Good variety, it's Chipotle style make-your-own, there's a little something for everyone (good choice of protein, etc.) - They're generous on the rice, decent on the fish, generous on the toppings (very big plus). Extra charge for avocado, but honestly that makes sense. They DON'T charge extra for seaweed salad (I HATE places that charge for seaweed salad). - I've never had bad service here. When they first opened, the workers were a little slow going down the line, but it's improved so much in the last year - now they're super quick if you're in a rush. - A lot of sauce choices - my favorite is the Ponzu + Sriracha Mayo. - Extremely good service - always friendly, etc. - Decent price - cheaper than if you went to a really good poki place, the price is accurate for what you get. Cons: - Fish might not be as fresh as poki places in the Bay, but honestly, it's decent and will be good enough when you need that poki fix. Overall, a solid place to have lunch/dinner, decent amount of seating, really great service, decent poki. Constantly giving them my business during my time in Stockton. read more

Delicious! I was so sad to leave Stockton (graduated UOP) right before Poke Salad opened; however, I made my way back and had the pleasure of trying it out while back in town! I wish it existed during my entire time at UOP, I would've been there all the time. The inside is clean and nicely decorated, the service was great, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable! Coming from the Bay Area, the prices at Poke Salad were much more affordable! They offer a small, medium, and large size with plenty of toppings to choose from. I always go big and order my bowl with EVERYTHING. The young gentleman who helped me was incredibly friendly and personable. He provided fantastic service to everybody there and was quick and accurate. This is THE BEST poke in Stockton. Large portions, fresh fish, great sauce flavors. Best of all they offer the largest variety in toppings. The customer service is always spot on and the establishment is clean. Even better? The location is great. You can choose from coffee in the same parking lot to boba tea next door (my personal favorite). They do also sell soup and macaron ice cream sandwiches if you need desert, which are small and standard, but hey they're there for variety. I'm here for Poke Bowl. Never got a bad service here. The customer service is good and the food is delish. I mean I do find a bone here and there in my Poke but it's okay. Lol I'm still alive eating and yelping. They give you choices of small, medium, and large. After that it's up to you to select the rice. Brown or white. You can ask for half and half on your choice of first toppings. I usually get spicy tuna and spicy crab meat. Depending on the size of the bowls you get, you have different choices of scoops. Small: 2 Medium: 3 Large: 4 The have wide selection of fish like most poke places does and condiments to top it all off. You can go crazy with the condiments and sauce. Did I mention they sell macaroons? 3.50 each I believe. You can get the macaroons before or after your order. They're limited on the macs tho and really frozen. Ps. I have never had a bad experience at this place until tonight and I have been a long time customer. I'm not 100% sure but I believe it is was the owner working tonight and he was so rude and unprofessional from start to finish. I usually pay $25 for 2 large bowls and due to Covid I understand there is price increase. But I paid $35 for those 2 bowls today. The gentleman making our food acted like he was so annoyed about everything and didn't even say thank you when I left and paid. He rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a new avocado because the half he was trying to give me was brown and old (mind u I was buying a whole fresh avocado anyways Bc we were getting avocado on both bowls) I asked for extra crunchy onions because he barely even sprinkled a few on top of my bowl so he told me it would be $5 for more onions....I thought wtf because he wanted to fill up a huge container of them instead of the small $1 cup. He acted like we were wasting his time, while I am trying to support a small local business which was completely dead inside. I could have went to Ahi Poke and most likely will from now on since this is how the owner behaves. I even asked for chop sticks and he acted like that was a burden as well, and didn't even give the chop sticks to us. I'm so highly disappointed that a place I loved so much and frequent I feel uncomfortable to go back to now. Btw I am so upset that I am taking Time out from eating my food to let people know how you will be treated. I like eating my food with chopsticks and he couldn't even do that right.... Solid, reliable poke place located less than a mile from UOP. The quality of the fish is good, but you don't get as much fish as what you pay for. I'd recommend this place if you're mostly a fan of toppings because they have an extensive sides bar to sprinkle on your fish and rice. Decided to make a visit here first sometime in mid March, just about last month. Been here about four times total I believe. This is my first time having an actual poke bowl, though sometimes when I go to some Filipino parties and gatherings, some cousins come through with some ready made poke from hawaii. Anyhow, this is actual poke with salad and many other options like greens and veggies. I always get a large bowl, and either a base of brown rice or half that plus salad. And with your selection of protein, you mix in with sauces. And fine with whatever sauces there are, but I ask to go light as I'm sure some of these have some sodium. But thats what add's flavor. I always have plain water as a beverage, and sometimes I'll have a side of Miso soup. Everything is good and tasty. But it may (and this is my opinion), not compare much to Ahi Poke, which I have been too and will write a review on that shortly. It's ideal to get some protein in here once in a while, like after coming from the gym. I like this location's closing hours as its open until 10 pm while others close around the common time of 9pm. It's in a decent location nearby delta college, and the laundromat and of course Empresso. One time when I came in around 9:20 ish, there was a bit of a line and I got to having my order taken about 5 minutes after. When all is being finalized after your bowl, well they don't ask if it's for here or to go, but they slap the lid on and put your bowl and any other side in a bag. So I guess that's what it is lolz. But I see people go next door to t4 and eat there, as long as they buy a drink. I just might do that next if I come through here again late before closing, say like 9:59:00 and get some bOba next door. read more

This place was a pretty standard mainland style poke place. It was about what I expected without any of the flavors especially impressing my. From Hawaii, I can be particular about my poke. Though this is not authentic poke, I do like this style as well, with lots of toppings added. This is similar to almost any other poke place in the area with nothing too unique. They were out of a few toppings while we were there but it was not a huge deal. They did have a lot of Japanese picked vegetables as toppings which I was excited about. Specifically takuan, kyurizuke, and fukujinzuke. I grew up eating these and do not get them too often so it was a nice surprise to find them here. However, the fish itself did not have much flavor. I will probably go back here at some point but I would not necessarily recommend it to any of my friends. My meal made me feel like I was being somewhat healthy though the freshness and quality does not compare to the poke I am used to. read more
