SEVERELY UNDERRATED, I wish I didn't take so long to finally try this spot! TAKEOUT ONLY, apple pay accepted too! Call ahead to place your order so it's faster and more convenient, everything is made fresh to order. I got the Yummy Roll (deep fried) which is a sushi burrito that comes with spicy tuna, crab meat, avocado, tobiko, and cream cheese for $13.95 before taxes. You get your choice of two sauces on the side for free, and I got the teriyaki sauce and the spicy mayo. They also have a wasabi mayo and a soy sauce to choose from. The lady at the counter also gave me regular wasabi on the house which I really appreciated. This was insanely delicious! The burrito is HUGE and is tempura fried so it comes out nice and warm while still keeping the contents inside intact. The rice is perfectly cooked and the seaweed held up nicely. As for the filling, the spicy tuna did not have a fishy smell, the spicy crab was generously filled and they did not skimp on the cream cheese. Really nice rice to filling ratio. SO GOOD. Pass on the teriyaki sauce, I felt like it had too much of an artificial aftertaste that I wasn't a fan of. The spicy mayo was great, and the actual wasabi they gave me was a nice touch as well. I really have no complaints. Service was great, I'll be coming back to try their Volcano Roll (deep fried) burrito as well as their Salmon Lover burrito!

Fresh, flavorful, and fast! The sushi burrito was packed with quality ingredients--perfectly balanced with fresh fish, crunchy veggies, and just the right amount of sauce. Everything tasted super clean and satisfying. The service was quick and friendly, and the presentation (even for takeout) was on point. Definitely hits the spot when you want something light but filling. Highly recommend if you're craving sushi with a twist!

I visited Yummy Sushi Burrito on Saturday, 3/16/24, in the afternoon. I decided to order the Max-California Sushi Burrito. For the two sides of sauce, I chose the Spicy Mayo sauce. The sushi burrito tasted amazingly fresh and delicious. The sauce also complemented the burrito very well. In general, it was wonderful to enjoy sushi in a hand-held version instead of a traditional roll. For the beverage, I got the Strawberry Slushy. The slushy was refreshingly fruity and enjoyable to drink. The customer service was fast and friendly. I received my order fairly quickly. The inside of the establishment was tidy and clean with several chairs available for customers. Overall, I like Yummy Sushi Burrito. The prices are truly affordable. The staff members are kind. I recommend coming here.

Came in for a sushi burrito, which was ok nothing to brag or definitely come back for but there are other sushi burritos I do want to try so if I'll be in the area I'll come back to try something new. The strawberry smoothie we got was good though. The wait wasn't bad and a lot of people would do order pick up but we were in the area for a party and stopped by to try. Inside their corner location is really small so definitely a pick up and go spot. Parking is busy since they are located in an area with many other places to eat.

I've been coming to this place since late 2020. I grew up in Lodi but moved to Stockton at that time, and have since moved to San Diego. Everytime I visit my family, it is a must to come to Yummy Sushi Burrito. Being addicted to this place is bad for the wallet but SO good for the soul. Surprisingly, I haven't been able to find another spot in San Diego that does it like this place and I find my cravings for a Yummy burrito hitting me late at night. Staff is always friendly, which can be surprising for a little hole in the wall nestled in the ghetto lol. But it really never disappoints. I miss you Yummy Sushi Burrito, and the 3 times a year I come back to the valley, I ALWAYS make the time to see you and I bring the whole family with. Never change. I love you.

The food is so good here, but yes there are roaches. That's the only thing that ruins it for me.

Friendly service and very efficient! They have the system down, from ordering to serving, filling waters and boxing up the leftovers! Beautiful ceiling and clean restaurant. Lots of people but it didn't feel cramped, tables are laid out to still feel like you can have conversations without neighbors hearing every word. Food was hot, flavorful and plentiful! We wanted an overall tasting of some of the most popular items so we got a family meal and our waiter helped us tailor/sub a couple choices. Trust their recommendations! Turn the clock forward a decade and guess what, the food is still outstanding and the service is still attentive and kind. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so we were good and hungry when we got into town. The owner greeted us warmly and a friendly server (her son), came by to help us. We decided to order: Hot & sour soup - heaven in a big bowl. Savory broth filled with delicious ingredients. It was well flavored, not too spicy or tangy Mu shu chicken - 4 pancakes with hoisin sauce. Our server wrapped our first ones for us. The dish contained the typical scrambled egg, sliced cabbage, protein, etc and it was fresh and tasty Beef with asparagus -noted in the entry that asparagus was in season so we had to order it. Meat was tender and the asparagus was cooked beautifully House chow mein - Fried perfectly and not doused in a bunch of sauce or oil. The protein on this dish was plentiful and it was simple and delicious. I loved how they didn't add chives/green onion to these dishes. The hot & sour soup had a few little green onions for color but this is the first time I've been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn't overfill the dishes with onions (as I don't like onions). Maybe that's the reason I enjoyed everything so much. Portions are very generous! We had lots of yummy leftovers. Our server told us that two of his brothers were the chefs. My kudos to them; they certainly know how to cook!

Awesome awesome on…read more Food Hospitality Cleanliness Ambiance Price point for a buffet You cannot go wrong at this joint, the price point for their buffet is so competitively reasonable. There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

I loaded my container up with spicy Szechuan chicken, garlic chicken, Mongolian beef, and white rice. Everything was fresh, hot, and seriously flavorful. People in my family also liked the stir-fried beef with wide rice noodles, kung pao chicken, and whole pieces of fried chicken. The one desert was sesame balls. There were also tempura-style veggies and fries. No fresh vegetables or fruit, but they had stir-fried broccoli. There were also egg rolls and crab rangoon. Simple tables and chairs, 2 bathrooms (with disposable seat covers available), and disposable plates, forks, cups, etc. Floor was just a little sticky. You just walk right in, grab a plate, and start loading up. Once you sit down, someone will bring drinks. While there, many people came in for the to-go options. When we went to pay our bill, they also offered a $4.95 kids price. What? Not sure how they survive! Would definitely come back if I were a local.

She wasn't too welcoming when I walked in either. Then, I pay, tip $8. She tells me it'll be a 10 min wait, I walk around the lot.. get back, and I ask for 1 hot oil and she's going to say "we charge for that, that'll be $1.50!" I say okay, hand her my card and then she says "$6 minimum or a 75 cent charge." Like lady? I tipped $8 on a 14 meal..... can I just have the hot oil at this point. So I said that's fine, she charged me and I went on my way. Sadly, I won't be returning.
