Have ordered multiple times on DoorDash, and every time they add Mac salad to my bowl without asking. Happened to me while pregnant (I ordered my bowls with cooked salmon) and had a strong aversion to mac salad so this was frustrating to the point of tears every time. read more

There was a long line so I knew immediately the bowls were great. My daughter and I love poke. We stopped in and were pleasantly pleased. The portion size of the bowls was GINORMOUS and GIGANTIC. lol So many toppings. So many sauces. What I liked is that they mixed the protein in a bowl with your desired sauce. Update on my last review. I recently ordered a bowl from Ahipoki after not eating here for a while. This used to be one of my favorite places...now it's disappointing. I used to love their big portions although it was a bit pricey. I got a pretty basic bowl with a few add ones & the customer service was always pretty friendly. Well recently I ordered from Doordash & I couldn't be more upset. The bowl i ordered was significantly smaller & more expensive. They app on doordash- wouldn't even let me choose 2 of the proteins- it made me pay 2 dollars more as an extra for the same protein I should have had for no additional cost. & I couldn't even order extras of my favs like the crab meat. & furthermore when I got my order- the poke etc was separate from my brown rice in 2 different containers! It looked very unappealing & wasn't even a bowl. Just raw fish in one container & brown rice in the other. Not to mention missing ingredients i had listed. Not what I had in mind when I was ordering. I got a meal all by itself in brown rice & the poke i got scraps. I don't mind paying extra but when I cant even order what I want or have to pay double just to get something that is standard....& see it is served with minimal care... its disappointing. I was in the area and saw this Restaurant and wanted to try it. The overall vibe was great during lunch. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken bowl with crab, avocado with teriyaki sauce. I waited about 5-7 mins and got my order. The food looked very good. The chicken was partially over cooked was my only complaint. I would have given this place four stars but chicken was over cooked and a little rough. Overall this place was really good and a very good healthy choice. If you are in the area try this place for a nice lunch. read more

This is my first time trying their food I usually go somewhere else. this place was really disappointing and super expensive. for 1 bowl (2 scoop) and 1 drink regular, it was $24. i didn't get any add on's or anything. the food was alright for the moment until my stomach started to hurt. I was blown away by this place!! I admit I had some low expectations due to the location being in the mall parking lot. But every time I pass by it's constantly busy all day! I took a chance, ordered a 2 scoop poke bowl with spicy tuna and salmon. You get unlimited toppings and get to choose a base. I thought the bowls were pretty small until I started eating and I realized how filling it was! The fish was super fresh, the sauces were delicious, you can choose if you want your fish cooked or raw! $13 is pretty reasonably priced considering you would pay more for sushi. I ordered a two scoop bowl with mixed greens and half white rice. It was so tasty & filling! I came in around 1pm and there was no line so the service was quick and easy. You can pick whichever toppings and sauces you want. They have a good amount of fresh options to choose from. There's plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy your meal inside which I always appreciate a spacious dining area. Be aware, a bowl of poke here will keep your stomach full for the rest of the day! read more

So first of all, I don't know if I'm the right person to get a Poki review. So my review will be of the teriyaki chicken with rice that I had it consisted of brown rice. I was able to mix a couple of the sauces, so I had a nice little spicy teriyaki. I felt like the portion size was very good. I went with two friends. They both love this restaurant so based on their experience, it's very good I would go back, but I would definitely stick with the teriyaki chicken. read more

Only order in person and never through delivery apps. Extremely small portion and lots of missing toppings. My order had 3 toppings missing and no sauce at all. For portion reference, there were only 4 pieces of salmon and 7 small pieces of tuna, and for one of my topping options I only had 6 stems of bean spout. You could literally count each individual item with one glance. This is never an issue with going in person since you're physically observing the order. I would give 2 stars but the food is fresh and well prepared. read more

The owner questioned that and so I decided to edit my review in ALL CAPS so ppl know why I gave 3 stars. It has NOTHING to do with the price difference for delivery. I shared that info so folks who want to save money can order online for pick up or directly in the store Now back to my original post: I've ordered before (tuna luau/ahi bowl) but this time I decided to try something different. The portion was big, I couldn't finish it all, however, the salmon was lacking in flavor. There were bits that were charred and those were good but the salmon as a whole tasted bland. The ingredients in my bowl seemed fresh but my son had ordered the same thing but with salad and kimchi and parts of the lettuce were super wilted. FYI: I first started an online order for delivery via grubhub but my total came out to $91!!! When I went directly online to the stores website and order for pick up it was $57!! I know the tip makes a difference (20%) but all the added fees and the mark ups of each item was just too much. I decided to pick up myself because of the price difference...see pics! read more

My wife and I went to this Ahipoki in Stockton to collect the Veterans day 50% deal going on for veterans on Nov 11th. After we asked for it they kept saying they didn't offer it even though its publicized on every legit veterans rewards websites. I'm not really upset that I had to pay full price but I'm more so upset that the female worker there with the bronze/reddish hair kept taking the easy way out and saying they didnt offer 50% off for veterans( with an attitude) instead of asking someone who actually knows how to input the discount. Seems like one of those I dont know how to do it so I'll just say we dont do it type of scenario. read more

Poke places are supposed to be "fresh" but my poke base was not. Wasabi citrus dressing is more citrus than citrus+wasabi. And the garlic soy dressing was no garlic/savory and more sweet. A staff person was handling spam misubi with no gloves as they were looking at their phone at the kitchen. It was a quiet night at the restaurant since the food tabling market was on. read more

Okay so I've spent a good amount of money here over the last two years (thousands) and recently I've noticed the quality of food and servers' attitudes tanking. FOOD QUALITY- The fish has always been hit or miss but in the past several months there have been far more misses (smelly salmon and obviously extra red tuna from sitting out too long). The serving sizes are HALF of what they were when I started eating here, the bowl is SMALLER, and the prices have been HIKED UP. SERVICE- In the beginning it was pretty sweet and I would bring people here to eat all the time. Lately I only stop here if I can't make it to Elk Grove, Sacramento, or Lodi (you can taste the difference in the tuna and see the difference in serving sizes) and when I have I always am left with a bitter taste in my mouth (from the interaction with the servers as well as from the fish, lol) PRICE- Def not worth it, it's two small spoonfuls of fish (even tho i got the three scoop) in an oddly soggy(??) rice bowl. ATMOSPHERE- If the servers didn't seem to hate it there the ambience would be fine, it's clean and the music is soothing and not overly loud. There are no free refills or bathrooms but the customer area always looks pretty clean. read more

I always order the same thing, a 2 scoop bowl with white rice, spam, shrimp, red onion, green onion, ginger, crispy onion, with added avocado and 2 extra scoops of crab salad. I took pride in what I served. I'm not finding that anymore. Even the smaller restaurants gouging you for extra sauce serving you canned sodas, so they don't have to give you refills from a fountain machine easier to charge you for another can of soda. I try to pick the restaurants I go to wisely but most of all to share my taste buds and adventures with you discovering new restaurants and new taste of cuisines is enjoyable, but I'm finding it more and more uncomfortable and frustrating. We don't get what we pay for now these days that's one thing about Yelp. I love this platform. I went in to have a wonderful lunch with my husband and ended up sitting there watching my husband have lunch while I was frustrated and disappointed Sadly enough, I will not be going back there. I feel that the atmosphere has changed. The food is not seasoned to perfection as their menu state it is and the facility isn't as clean as it used to be also frequent management changes are a concern and a big red flag .

It has the perfect amount of spice, incredible flavor, and, as always, the freshest ingredients. It will definitely be added to our regular rotation. To top off an already amazing dinner, I saw Ty making a "Starbucks on Crack" cocktail and had to try one for myself. If you enjoy a dessert-style drink, I highly recommend it. Espresso martinis can sometimes be too bitter for my taste, but Cocoro's version was smooth, balanced, and absolutely delicious. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised because their drinks are always outstanding. A huge thank you to Ty for always taking such great care of us and making every visit special. I met here with coworkers and didn't realize we had such a cool coffee shop here in Stockton. The interior is decorated nicely and there are tons of tables and seating available for groups to chat or work. The morning I went, there was a long line to get to coffee, but it did move relatively quickly. The coffee was good & so was the baked good I got. Service at the counter was good as well. Personally, my #1 go-to is Local Motion with snow cap, li hing mui drizzle and the powder. I just love, love the Li Hing Mui flavor!! The more, the better! In order for the 2 of…read moreus to get maximum exposure to Fork It's quality, ordered 1 12" Cowboy with BBQ sauce on the side; 1 12" Clucking Bacon Ranch, 1 chocolate cream pie, 1 coconut cream pie and a single order of onion rings. My husband called in the order and I advised him to get there early as things have a tendency to sell out. 15 minutes later he arrived in the small strip mall off Don & Hammer, happy to find a disabled spot almost right in front. The area itself is a bit sketchy but okay during the abbreviated hours, mostly 11AM-4PM.. Closed Saturdays and most Sundays. The two big bags of wonderful smelling food cost $70, and I will describe and show photos of just what you will receive. A special note for the owner's son, Big D. The fact you noticed my guy was both elderly and disabled and offering help with the bags was beyond and above. He doesn't mention it but he's still a bit unsteady after hip surgery. My food rating is 4.5 but genuine kindness bumps it to a full 5! We started in splitting the chicken sandwich. I loved the fresh, lightly toasted bread and the fact this small business father and son team source locally. The roll was dressed with shredded lettuce and a couple ripe tomato slices. Two meaty slices of bacon added to the enjoyment, but what really knocked me out and made this such a fine value, 2 huge, (about the size of your palm and fingers), slices of breast with another half thrown in for good measure. The chicken benefitted from marinating then grilling just right. Missing in action? Any and all ranch dressing-I even looked for to-go containers but none to be found. Comparing notes with DH he said his bread was dripping with sauce to the point of being soggy...I guessed when the sandwich was upright on the drive home everything wet rushed to one side! Stuff happens. The size of these sandwiches is huge but we moved on to the Cowboy for dinner. Cut in two, I took the smaller side, closer to 5". I've deconstructed down to the point of separating out onions, mushroom and tri tip. We opted for Provolone for more of a cheesesteak vibe. Generous slabs of mild cheese helped hold the whole thing together. DH grilled tri tip and ribs for the Stockton Ports game for several years and knew what to look for. The consensus, fair amount of meat, cooked medium well, tender with good flavor. I specified BBQ sauce on the side, which was no problem. That way I could deconstruct my half Cowboy, could be a nurse thing! DH thought too many onions while I thought the ratio to meat was spot on. Sadly the mushrooms turned out to be 3/4ths of one button mushroom thinly sliced for my share. Both grilled onions and mushrooms add additional moisture and flavor. Adding the sauce, a molasses tomato blend with a small peppery kick made for a very enjoyable meal. The onion rings were about 1/2" thick and plentiful. Crispy on the outside while still being moist on the inside with sweet onion. The coconut pie was creamy with toasted coconut sprinkled over the whipped topping. The crust was of interest, buttery cookie instead of graham cracker or standard pie crust. Our chocolate cream pie was a chocolate lover's dream. A light mousse touch to the filling with heavier ganache brownie crust. We're still working on that one. So 4 meals, 2 happy campers and even our dogs give 4 paws up.

I had 'The Real Deal' ( Tri tip, grilled onions and cheese of choice), the garlic fries with Parmesan cheese and two desserts lol! The 'Brown Sugar Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake' and the 'Key Lime pie'! Once a month, they have pastrami sandwiches! Everything was delicious, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

5 stars because the food is always good. I was upset when I heard they discontinued spicy crab yesterday. It was good, and I was buying at least 3 my visits! (I come regularly). This place needs to listen to their customers. When they finally bring something we ask for, they take it away within a short amount of time. I was willing to buy, even though the prices are.. pricy. The workers seemed understanding and friendly, and they really seemed sorry for the inconvenience. The atmosphere is well kept. They are usually busy in the morning so I recommend coming dinner time read more

I will also say that I'm quite critical of musubi. For some reason, restaurants know how to overlook making quality musubi. It's not hard. But it's never wrapped well. Or it'll be over seasoned.
