    Ube butter mochi
    Christine B.

We stopped here for lunch before our flight at SFO. To order you can go through the cashier or use the kiosk. We tried the garlic fried chicken and beef short ribs (both come with rice and salad), along with the spam musubi and ube butter mochi. The standout was definitely the ube butter mochi. You get a generous portion, and my favorite part was how chewy it was. The garlic chicken was crispy, while the spam musubi tasted good but the spam was a bit too thin, throwing off the rice to spam ratio. One thing to note: service isn't the fastest, so I wouldn't recommend stopping here if you're in a rush.

    Loco moco fries

Food was a good option for airport food. Located in terminal 1 right after security near the B gates. Pricey but what isn't at the airport. I got the loco moco fries and a spam musubi. Both were served hot, made to order. Both tasted good but not exceptional. There is a small seating area right by the order counter.

Salmon poke bowl ($21.87 before tip).

Solid place for a quick lunch at SFO terminal 1 (Harvey Milk). I stopped by after a 4 hour flight from Austin and ordered a salmon poke bowl ($21.87 before tip) - this was fresh and tasty, and satisfied my hunger. Ordering was easy, but there was no room on their tables to sit and enjoy my meal, so I walked over twenty feet to the seating area next to security and enjoyed my delicious food. Will be back!

Tried Poke to the Max at SFO and it did not disappoint! My friends and I ordered the Garlic Fried Chicken with salad and white rice. It was a bit on the pricey side (as expected for airport food), but totally worth it the flavor was amazing and the portions were satisfying. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It was the best way to end our mini getaway trip to San Francisco. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're passing through the airport!

    Reconstructed musubi
    Ashley J.

Just ordered the reconstructed musubi for dinner. If you're a fan of spam musubi with egg, go with this! It's 8 pieces of spam musubi with egg and sauce on top. Reminded me of a sushi roll! I think the serving size is great. I like that I can order at a kiosk and pick up when they call out my name at the counter. They also have 5-6 tables of their own designated seating. After walking into the B gates, I went back to this place because I think their options are some of the best for dinner.

Supposedly this is salmon. And yes, that's the correct color in the photo. Needs genetic testing to know what it really is.
    Anthony S.

Supposedly, they use salmon in their Poké bowl, but more like mystery meat to me. Definitely frozen and maybe it's been soaking for a week so there's no evidence of the original salmon color? Highly recommend going someplace else as I'm tempted to just toss this in the trash rather than get food poisoning. No way you can put your food in the bag provided without turning sideways, which is not a good idea for wet food like sushi. Obviously this vendor doesn't care about its food or customers.

I tried their breakfast rice with bacon. Quick service and healthy portion. I have enough for lunch and maybe even dinner lol. Clean area and feature tables to eat at right next to their stand.

aug 28, 2024 - spam musubi x2 (ate these the next day, cold); 5/5
    Fanny W.

Hawaiian food @ SFO! Yes! Pros: + Kiosk ordering available!! What I Ordered: + Spam Musubi; 5/5 + Garlic Fried Chicken Rice Plate; 5/5 I ate the spam musubi cold next morning, so I didn't get to enjoy it fresh, but it smelled so good when I ordered it. I did get to eat the garlic fried chicken rice plate right then and there, and it was so so good! Definitely coming back since I'm @ Terminal 1 all the time.

    Musubi
    Cara B.

We grabbed two musubis from Poke to the Max before our flight. At $4.99 each, the price was typical for airport fare. While the rice was a bit mushy, the presentation was appealing, and the musubis made for a satisfactory quick snack. The seating area around the pickup counter was convenient, clean, modern, and nice, though we waited about 15 minutes for our order. Area seems nice and there's a lot of other options for food on their menu.

My Spam, Sunny Side Up Egg and Potatoes breakfast bowl sans Spam & a whole egg.
    Heather W.

I was excited to try this place because Hawaiian for breakfast sounds good in theory. What I ordered: a breakfast bowl with Spam, a Sunny Side Up egg and potatoes. What I got: as pictured, basically a box full of potatoes with a sliver of egg (with a yolk that leaked through the container and into the bag) and no Spam. Now, I do enjoy potatoes, but this was too much, even for me. Pity, as they were done well. I did not get my money's worth *smh* One star for the gentleman doing double duty with ringing up and serving orders. He was harried, but pleasant with me.

Loco moco burrito with gravy. Extremely salty fried rice
    Brad N.

Loco moco burrito was a bit disappointing since the fried rice inside was hella salty! And trust me, I love salty foods, but this was almost inedible after the first half. I ended up eating around the rice. Also pretty garlicy to the point of being distracting, and yes garlic is usually a good thing too.

Spicy Ahi rice bowl! Tobiko added
    Judy B.

Couldn't believe I got this in an airport! It transformed me to Hawaii with every bite! The staff was fast and nice! A great selection when hungry in the San Francisco airport!

I got the Omelette Fried Rice (4.5/5), that came with delicious sriracha bacon, and an okay salad on the side. For my drink, I got the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk (5/5), which was fantastic. It's on the sweeter side, which worked for me. It was fairly busy and a bit loud inside. In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!
