Good place to get a bowl of poke and toppings. Lots of options to choose from. Will definitely be back to try more.

For the amount of money you spend food is plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The only complaint I have right now is the tuna was not as fresh as the salmon. Service is quick and easy, ambience is clean, area is beautiful. There's indoor or outdoor dining. I would recommend this place, but they still need to update the quality on the tuna poke.

I wanted to get something light in the Hangar pairing it with my Blue Bowl. Saw the reviews for Poke2Grill and was excited to try it. Upon ordering, the employee was loading it up with salmon and tuna which made me even more happier about this spot. But when I started eating the bowl the fish was really slimy and tasted fishy fishy. I know fish naturally has a fishy taste unless you put vinegar on it. I don't know though, I usually can power through but decided not to eat the rest of my bowl. I would be open to give it another try but definitely wasn't a good first experience.

Poke 2 Grill is located inside a food hall. Was a bit overwhelmed by all the options and wait times so I landed at Poke2 and it did not disappoint. The line went by quickly and the workers were friendly. Poke was fresh and the portions were huge! Loved the topping and sauce selection here. Would come back again!

Poke2 Grill is one of the food stalls inside of The Hangar Food Hall in LBX. They offer build-your-own style poke bowls. They also have grilled protein salads and bowls, but when I was in line, everyone around me only seemed to be getting poke! You can choose from 3 sizes--small has 1 scoop of fish, medium has 3 scoops, and large has 4 scoops. Then choose your base, protein, flavors, and toppings. The medium size was pretty filling. I couldn't finish the whole thing. They really pack the bowl, which is great! Ingredients were fresh, and sauces were tasty. One thing to note is their crab meat option is considered one of your protein scoops, but they do give a lot! Parking can get super crowded in the evenings! Be prepared to come early and circle the lots a few times.

Poke2 Grill is your standard build your own poke bowl that was just okay. With a flight out of Long Beach in a few hours, the Hangar Food Hall was recommended because of its relative proximity and variety of food options. Because we had eaten so much, I decided I would try to find something healthy-ish. Poke2 Grill seemed to be the healthiest option of all the other choices inside the Hangar. I got the large Poke bowl which comes with four scoops of fish over a base of salad. I was able to add all of the toppings which was drizzled with the yuzu ponzu sauce to give acid and flavor. While I felt the size was generous and filled to the max, I did feel a little bit underwhelmed by the fish quality which didn't seem as fresh. Perhaps because it was because it was near the end of the day? Since they make it as you go, the food came out quickly. Again because I was there at the end of the day, there was a few workers who gave a vibe like all they wanted to do was go home. Totally understandable at the end of the day, but not what I usually expect. Overall, Poke2 Grill is a decent option if you want a poke bowl but the service and quality may vary.

this is the spot that made me fall in love with poke. it's located in the long beach hangar so it's a great spot to go with friends of different tastes so everyone can find something they enjoy! I however will ALWAYS pick this spot the employees were incredibly helpful my first visit (and every visit after) in deciding what to try, especially when it comes to sauces (because i never remember my favorite combo). the fish is so fresh and delicious, sometimes i feel like it doesn't even need the extra sauce. i like that it comes with seaweed salad and crab meat and being able to add so many yummy veggies to pack a lot of great flavors in. can't recommend enough!

This was the only place I returned to on my most recent trip to Long Beach. I absolutely LOVED my Poke Bowl here. The portion size was HUGE. I was a little concerned how much I was getting for the price because I'm used to serving sizes by my in Virginia but this was outstanding. The food was fresh and you could taste just how fresh it was. The service was impeccable. Everything was labeled for allergies which was great for my gluten free diet. The only thing I wish they had was gluten free soy sauce takeaway packets but that's not a deal breaker at all, to be honest, it didn't even need it! I will be back for sure when I go back out to Long Beach! Thanks for delicious lunches!

Very fresh Poke and excellent service from Alyssa and staff. I ordered a Large 4 Scoop Poke Bowl with Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, and Albacore. I requested Yuzu Ponzu, Classic Spicy, Spicy Citrus Miso, and Asian Glaze flavors. Each ingredient was delicious, pronounced, and the heat was evident.

I was a bit weary about choosing Poke2 Grill after sifting through some of the reviews, but to my delight, I'm SO glad I chose this spot! Note: this location is at the Hangar, which makes for a perfect date-night spot! I have had poke many-a-times and the bowl I ordered definitely hit the spot! I ordered the small bowl, which had a generous portion of rice, protein, and fixings! I built my own poke bowl picking spicy tuna and shrimp as my proteins along with a scoop of the crab, then added an abundance of yummy toppers including ginger, edamame, green onions, masago, corn, and furikake. I did a blend of the spicy citrus miso and the classic sauce. WHAT A COMBO of flavors! The seafood tasted fresh and the combination of textures, flavors, sauce, and perfectly cooked rice made this an exceptional meal! I am SO glad I got the small size, since I was only able to eat a little over half of it. (Plus, I got to treat myself to the leftovers a few hours when my hunger kicked in) I will definitely be hitting Poke2 Grill up again the next time I am in town and craving a poke bowl. Asides from the staff being friendly, I love the options they have on the menu, the variety of sauces and ways to spice up your bowl, and the freshness of all of their ingredients. I recommend this spot to all folks looking for a light, filling, and delicious meal!

The sauce in the bag felt a bit... watered down like it went for a swim before meeting the seafood. For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. She did not let me down as we walked in and noticed how truly authentic it was going to look. Chinese decor on the walls and boxes of restaurant supples in the corners. Just as it should be. The bonus was that they had a TV showing the NBA Finals when we arrived. Pretty nice touch and in the back of the restaurant so as not to distract everyone. We went with a couple of our favorite dishes to run along and the Chicken Lo Mein was pretty good. Crispy pieces of chicken and soft noodles and veggies to go with it. We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that. My wife wanted a shrimp dish so she ordered the honey walnut and it even looked good to me when they brought it. She loves egg rolls, so she got a four piece and said they were pretty good. My biggest wow of the visit was their vegetable fried rice. MY GOD. I dont know what they season or flavor it with, but every fork full of rice that i ate, it was this sense of flavor that reminded me of butter or something else. I really loved the sensation i experienced from this particular dish. I am really curious on what it actually is. I will definitely be ordering out or coming in for Chinese because that reminded of many other places that put out fantastic dishes.

We had plenty to share, which is always a plus. The restaurant has a nice family-style vibe, but it's a lot smaller inside than it looks from the outside. If it's busy, it can feel pretty cramped, and you'll probably have to squeeze between tables and chairs to get around. If it's not crowded though, it's much easier to move around. The service was fast, which I appreciated. The only downside was the food runner who brought out our meals. He wasn't very friendly and kind of just set the plates down wherever there was space, even on top of the plates we were already using. It felt a little careless and took away from an otherwise good experience. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight, but because of that experience with the service, it'll probably be a while before I come back.

Unfortunately, one employee, Marisol, consistently provides poor customer service. She comes across as combative, takes no accountability for mistakes, and makes resolving simple issues unnecessarily difficult. My daughter called in our usual order for pickup. When she arrived, she immediately noticed something was wrong because the total was much lower than expected. When she politely brought it to Marisol's attention, instead of acknowledging that there may have been a mistake, Marisol insisted the order had never been placed that way. She then asked my daughter if she wanted to order the missing item while she was already there to pick up her food, which would require waiting another 15 minutes. Since the delay was the result of an incorrect order, my daughter asked if she could at least receive fresh fries while waiting. Marisol told her she would have to pay extra for fresh fries. Marisol also claimed that she had repeated the order back over the phone when it was originally placed. That simply isn't true. She rushed my daughter off the phone, saying she'd see her in 15 minutes, without reviewing the order. We've continued to support A&J's because the food is consistently excellent, but experiences like this make it harder to keep coming back. Great food can only go so far when customers are made to feel dismissed instead of valued. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional customer service training so loyal customers receive the experience they deserve.
