We got this tonight after seeing good reviews across the board. I'm convinced there's fish in my spicy salmon bowl because it smells ever so slightly fishy, but there isn't a single chunk of salmon in this. It is without a doubt the worst poke I've ever had. You shouldn't expect amazing poke in Wisconsin, but FreshFin was at least pretty good with real fish. And I'm not expecting poke to rival a bowl you find at a market in Kauai, but this is unbelievably bad. This stuff is completely inedible. We asked for light sauce and it's smothered. And I'm not kidding, there is NO visible salmon. Avoid this place. I can't think of a single reason to offer this more than a single star. The rice is good? The sauce is flavorful, despite being overwhelming? I guess it's a tolerable vegan bowl? Where's the fish? read more

Excellent, my wife and daughter had the Make Your Own Bowls and I had the Hawaiian Classic (seaweed wrap) and it was delicious. A little pricey for Health Fast Food, but better for you than fried chicken wings or that place with the clown, at close to the same price. I would come back. read more

I was extremely hopeful that this location was going to be good. I ordered a regular poke bowl with onion crisps, seaweed salad,surimi salad, green onions,edamame, sweet corn, with 2 proteins of shrimps. My two sauces were sweet shoya and their house made pokeworks classic sauce on a bed of "sushi rice". Unfortunately the poke bowl was lack luster in flavor. As well as the rice being extremely soggy with no flavor at all. I feel as though they are false advertising because sushi rice and white plain rice are completely different in flavor profiles. It is understandable that there are going to be mistakes made and under seasoned components to a dish but I have gone here twice and had the same experience with a lack of flavor of all ingredients. Overall it just seemed like the staff were untrained and a lack of a manager who cares about the quality of their food. read more

Tried this place for the very first time today and I am disappointed in myself for not trying it sooner. I could have been eating this 2-3 times a week. I got a large bowl and customized it. Everything was super fresh. I especially like the cucumbers! The ahi tuna is delicious and minerally. A large is actually huge. I managed to get 3 meals out of it. Spam musubi is a must-try. Nice garlic flavor and perfectly pushed together rice. This is going to be a regular visit for me every week. read more

Pokeworks had become one of my favorite poke restaurants in the area. If you like spicy like I do, their volcano sauce is amazing. I like the fact that they make the bowl in front of you, not in a back room. Which also allows them, in my opinion, to give better customer service. And every time I've been there the workers are friendly and super fun to talk to and give me ideas of other ways to try poke bowls. They are definitely a step above the rest in my opinion. read more

Very unfriendly and once we received our order one of the workers came outside where we were eating in front of the restaurant at the tables and smoked a cigarette right next to us. Good, straightforward, quality poke! I've been to this place many times, and it has never disappointed me. I should say that I have only ever tried the build your own poke bowls. I have not tried the other options they have (poke burrito, poke salad, and poke noodles). I also have not tried any of the poke combinations on their menu, I have always done build your own. The fish (especially ahi tuna) is very fresh and vibrant. It is great. The toppings are very versatile and delicious. I highly recommend trying some mango in your poke bowl. It really elevated the bowl! They have many different types of seaweed, and the seaweed salad & crab salad toppings are not extra! They are generous with their portions (I usually am in a food coma when I leave). The staff is always very friendly, and store is pristine and clean on the inside. This place is AMAZING! I love it and so do my kids. I rarely write reviews because I'm lazy, but this place is deserving. I've been there about 5 times now and it's great each time. The portions are very generous, they don't nickel and dime you for additional toppings, the owner is very pleasant and the food is high quality. The kale noodles are salty and fabulous! I highly recommend this place. We drive quite a ways to get to it and it's worth it every time. It's the best Poke I've had in WI. The kids and I made a summer bucket list. They had Great America, the Dells, a trip to the ocean, and at least one (hopefully more) meals at Pokeworks on the list. Check this place out and get the app if you like discounts. read more

This is a great healthy option in Brookfield, WI that just opened up. I rate Pokeworks 5/5 due to the taste, freshness of the protein, toppings and sauce. Protein of your choice made fresh daily and you get your choice of toppings and sauce as well. Extremely tasty and would recommend this as an option over Qdoba or Chipotle or anything you would consider quick during the tough work week. After eating my meal, I had tons of energy and was ready to tackle the rest of the afternoon of work. I ate my meal at 11:30 and was full throughout the rest of the afternoon and it was able to provide great energy for my after-work workout as well. Very filling and worth the money that you pay. Came for the grand opening and got a BOGO. Pros: -I liked the variety of proteins and toppings. Protein options had scallops and shrimp without an extra charge -Price was decent compared to the other places I've been to in Wisconsin ($10.95 for regular size) -If you like a specific topping more than others, you can ask for a little bit more (lady in front of me asked for 3 pinches of cilantro) -You can get as many toppings as you like without extra charge (unless indicated) -Kale noodles!! I was intrigued. It was a bit soggier than expected but interesting option nonetheless. I like the healthy options they offer in addition to sushi rice -Spacious space Cons: -Staff wasn't fully trained. The first guy scooping told us we had to do one bowl at a time for our BOGO, so we got one bowl first. Got to the register and the lady said we should have gotten our second bowl at the time same. Had to go back in line. Got to register and were told BOGO did not include large bowls. She gave me a discount off for a regular bowl instead. I stated that wasn't listed anywhere on their promo materials that it wasn't BOGO for large bowls. Lady called over a young fellow and he said BOGO covered large bowls so gave me the full discount (my friend already paid and she got a refund for the extra she paid, but this could have happened to others who ordered before us and they did not get their full discount). -I ordered ahi tuna, salmon and scallops for my first order. It could be the Pokeworks classic sauce that drowned out the seafood flavor, but I didn't taste much (I didn't really like that sauce either so it could have contributed to my not enjoying the meal as much as I had hoped). -Spicy salmon had onions mixed in there :( I have a strong gag reflex when I eat onions so I couldn't order it Overall, it was just ok for me. I still have my second bowl to try but I'm not expecting to be wowed.
