    Two protein poke bowl
    Andrea H.

Great ambiance and excellent staff. They had a fun tea drink selection. Got the two protein poke bowl that I custom ordered to include salmon, tuna, half brown rice and half kale noodles with all the toppings minus a few. Got the ponzu sauce which is traditionally soy sauce mixed with dashi broth and yuzu/citrus. Their ponzu sauce however did not taste like that at all. While all the ingredients taste fresh and good quality, one star docked for the sauce as it made everything taste salty but with no flavor.

    Try the Dessert!

We tried the spicy Ahi Tuna wrap with extra seaweed salad and the Yuzu Ponzu Salmon bowl. For Dessert: Coco Mango Haupia (sweet and smooth coconut pudding topped with a fresh mango puree) I got the sweet gochujang sauce on the side and it added all the heat I wanted without taking away from the awesome taste of the Salmon. This review is just on the food since we got take- away.

I was driving to get my Starbucks and saw the sign saying now open! My spicy tuna poke was sooo good! I also made mine extra spicy by adding more peppers AND the pickled ginger was the icing on the cake!

Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins)

This place came up on my 'new and hot' list of restaurants in the area when I was looking for some good eats, so I figured I'd give it a try (and I am so glad that I did). What I got; Poke Bowl - Large (3 Proteins) $18.00 I love a good Poke Bowl, as they are highly customizable, (the main ingredients are vegetables and fish -- two generally nutritious foods). Some of the most common vegetables used in Poke are avocado, garlic, onion, and carrots, which are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants, all of which support your overall health. In my bowl, I added tuna, salmon and shrimp because, why not? The amount of meat for this dish was impressive and filling. I requested the meat be a little cooked/torched to give it a little some in' some in'. I also added: Cucumber, Sweet Onion, Cilantro, Serrano Peppers, Spicy Serrano Aioli, Avocado, Green Onion, Pickled Ginger, Wasabi, and Thai Chili. The addition of the spices totally kicked this bowl into overdrive adding to the meat and greens of this menu item. Overall, this bowl was fresh, filling and is something that I would order again.

First time trying this place. It's well lit, and set up cafeteria style. You tell them what you want, and they put your bowl together. The proteins were super fresh, and I loved all of the combo options. They make their own beverages in house. The cherry limeade was delicious- just the right amount of sweet and tart. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet; I was not a fan. They were out of black tea, and my friend said their green tea was just okay. I definitely plan to go again and take my sushi-loving son with me.

Was excited to try a new poke place and will say food was good for first few bites but was very off put by finding a staple in my bowl.

It's always a pleasure for Mrs. Bagg and I to visit this delightful establishment. We've become quite fond of its refreshing culinary offerings and refreshing drinks, particularly on those hot days. The ambiance is charming, complemented by a congenial staff team, making it an ideal venue for a relaxed lunch, paired beautifully with engaging conversations and good company. As for the gorgeous Mrs. Bagg, she loves the Spicy Tuna served over a bed of rice decorated with great toppings. As for my personal preference, I go for the Chili Lime Chicken.. any way you build it, it is sure to taste great!

To start this off- I have been in Georgetown for less than a year. & I can confidently say I have been to PokeWorks north of 30 times. (It's close to the gym) There is not a word that carries enough praise to represent this staff. Everyone is so friendly, professional, and patient. The store is always incredibly clean, which directly reflects the most important part, the food. Like others, sushi is one of my favorite foods, but it's not in my wallets best interest. When I describe it to people it's "imagine 3 sushi rolls smashed into a bowl for the price of 1". Healthy, quick, affordable, DANK. What more could I ask for ? Word around town is the poke bowl quite possibly saved my life. I LOVE POKEWORKS. 200 stars.

I visited on a whim but was so impressed by the fresh ingredient choices, customer service, and customizable bowl pricing. FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a shopping center with a large parking lot * Online ordering - available for pickup on their website * Nutrition information - available on their website * Weekly specials - check their website or social media for updates * Rewards program - join for free and earn points to redeem for free bowls PRICING - The total was $32.45 after tax ($2.47) but before tip for 2 regular poke bowls (2 scoops of protein each). I think the pricing is reasonable for the quality of ingredients and portion size. Veggie bowl: $9.99 Small (1 scoop of protein): $12.49 Regular (2 scoops of protein): $14.99 Large (3 scoops of protein): $17.49 ORDERING - Place an order online for pick up or walk up to the counter to build your own bowl. You choose a base (white rice, brown rice, salad, half and half, seaweed wrap, or hot Cheetos wrap), pick a protein (number of scoops determines the size), choose a sauce, add as many mix-ins as you want, and then add toppings. PROTEINS - Choices include classic ahi tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp, tofu, and the weekly special. All of the proteins we tried were fresh and the scoops are about 2 ounces each. SAUCES - Choices include house, spicy house, Korean chili, soy ponzu, garlic miso, sweet ginger, sesame shoyu, and citrus. Descriptions and nutrition information for each can be found on their website. MIX-INS - Choices include corn, cilantro, crab, cucumber, edamame, jalapeños, onion, pineapple, red cabbage, scallions, and seaweed salad. Avocado is an extra $1.50 but you can choose any or all of the others listed included with the price of your bowl. TOPPINGS - Choices include chili flakes, furikake, garlic crisps, ginger, onion flakes, sesame seeds, shredded nori, tempura crisps, spicy mayo, wasabi aioli, and wasabi. You can choose any or all of the toppings included with the price of your bowl. I absolutely LOVE how customizable the bowls are! A lot of poke restaurants limit the number of toppings or charge extra for a majority of the items but this was pretty much all-inclusive. I was able to make my perfect bowl for one set price and left feeling full and satisfied! I randomly stopped here for dinner after searching on the map for a healthy and quick dinner option but it's now one of my favorite places! It can be hard to find nutrition information for a lot of restaurants so I absolutely love that they have it available online. If you love poke, it doesn't get much better than Poke House! Highly recommend!

Poke House is a really good "go to" for a great poke bowl…read more First, the staff is always patient and really helpful! That is important when there are so many options to choose from. Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall. Trust me on this, Poke House does the job! I've been to this location at least a dozen times. Not once, was I disappointed in the quality and service. I'm so glad that this place is so close to me! Job well done! When you get that tip option on the screen, do what you see fit. Please consider the patience and kindness of the person building your lunch or dinner.

It was tempura shrimp and it wasn't peppery (they just stuck jalapeño slices in there). It tasted fine but it's not what I ordered. Surroundings that transport you somewhere, like a villa, to embrace a type of cuisine? Here, I'd say ambiance is a comfortable escape with a kitchen and menu offering quality Japanese fare we all crave. The menu is vast and easy to read as you nestle in the cozy, Japanese themed surroundings. Not fancy. Cozy. You quickly forget the strip mall location and vape shop next door. It's a place to settle in for a spell or a quick, relaxing lunch. The service was extremely friendly, smiling and quick. The sushi was delicious, proper temperature and flavorful. The spicy seasonings were on point and the very spicy is appropriately noted on menu. I'm going back for more exploration, relaxation and `affordable quality.

A great date night or special occasion spot to splurge a little and have a fun time in Georgetown's town square. Service was excellent and we were able to get a same-day Saturday night reservation. Food was good and worth going back for! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, free parking around the area. Can get busy on weekends. - Reservations? Yes, recommended but not required. I called ahead on a Saturday night to ask about availability and was able to snag a 5:30pm. FOOD RATINGS: - City post salad (4/5): Great flavors and large portion! Great value. They split it between two plates since we were sharing. A little too heavy on the dressing, but otherwise tasty. - Bread service (3/5): Warm homemade white bread loaf with salted butter and a seasonal butter (ours was rosemary). It was just okay for charging $4 for bread service. You would get this complimentary with your meal elsewhere. - Scallops (4/5): The orange beurre blanc sauce was delicious. Scallops were good and perfect size. - Oysters (3/5): Gulf coast oysters and some from Virginia. Not bad but not the best I've had. A little grainy. The sauces were great and the hot sauce had a nice kick. - Ribeye with peppercorn sauce (4/5): I thought it was weird they halved the steak lengthways...but it was good. Less fatty than we had hoped, but tasty nonetheless. The peppercorn sauce was good but not worth $6, especially when you're already paying a pretty penny for the steak! - Mushroom risotto (2/5): This was a special side for the night. It was unfortunately not very good. Had a weird off taste to me, like the mushrooms weren't very good. I've had better risottos. We didn't finish it. - Cheesecake (5/5): A strong ending to the meal! All of the desserts looked great, but this was a good pick. Loved it.

It looked like they expanded their menu since the last time we ate here. We opted for a Shoyu Beef Ramen Soup and a Hot Pot Beef Noodle Soup. We grabbed our water cups and a carafe filled with iced water from their beverage fridge, and chose our table to sit at. We chose a location away from the front entrance, which faces west towards the sun. Our food was quickly brought out to us less than 5 minutes later, and our soups were very good. They have a very spicy broth for their Hot Pot Noodle Soup, which P2 really enjoyed. I was also happy with my shoyu ramen, which I thought was seasoned perfectly. The music here wasn't loud and it was easy to carry a conversation. The interior aesthetics of this place reminded me of a Japanese restaurant, despite this restaurant servicing Taiwanese fare. Unfortunately, they don't sell alcohol here. I would have loved to drink a beer here with its solid vibes. I took off a star because of the blinding sunlight that pours into the space. Each time we came, we had to be strategic on where we sat so that we or our friends didn't have to face the sun. But other than that, Noodly Alley continues to be a reliable choice for authentic Taiwanese food.
