Still haven't found my go-to combo yet, but I've really enjoyed what I've built the few times I've been here. The ingredients are always super fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful every time. I usually spend around $15 for a regular portion with two proteins, which feels fair for the quality. I'll definitely keep coming back... until I don't.

Sadly, phone did not snag a picture before the first bite. Food felt fresh, clean, and a great amount for a two protein! Half salad/half rice with double salmon and every free side item is the move! Cheers!

spicy salmon, lobster Brown rice Ponzu, umami sauce Cucumber, onions, edamame corn, masago Onion, crisp, garlic, crisp, dry seaweed Forgot to add spicy mayo, but overall it was pretty good. I wish there was more variety of meat. I understand why it's simplified, but it would've been nice to choose up to at least three proteins for the price that I'm paying. I think it's just one protein too short. Other than that competitively price I would go to other places tho that have 3 instead of two protein for the price I paid

I want to preface I am a high spice tolerant person. I eat very spicy food consistently so I consider my spice level high. I ordered medium spice and I was running to the sink feeling sick because of how spicy it was. I was chugging milk and eating ice and was also crying. The food was good quality but the portions were SMALL. We ordered a large (3 protein scoops) and only recieved two of the three choices and only about half of the sides requested. I did not finish the bowl due to how insanely spicy it was but if I would have I would have still been hungry. I did order this on DoorDash as a heads up but 0/10 for real. I would give a good score for freshness but unless you have a spice tolerance that's INSANE you can't eat here and don't come with an appetite.

Great poke just like the Heights location. The seating area at this location looks a lot better too. Great decor, rood and nice staff.

The food was delicious and the place was clean too, but the service was a little slow. The miso soup had to flavor, it tasted like water with tofu and chives.

So far this is my favorite poke bowl place in Houston... ...coming from Hawaii, I'm extremely picky with my poke bowls. Once I got over the fact that all fish here would be frozen, and nothing would compare with even the grocery store poke bowls back home I settled on a favorite. And here we are...customer service is good, not amazing. The options are great and help create a really filling meal. Will continue to visit this location as the other options for poke bowls here in Katy don't even come close.

    My creation.

I normally don't give anyone 5 stars unless you are REALLY REALLY GOOD. So there it is; 5 stars! I have never been to this restaurant before. It was so nice and clean. The service as spot on. The gentlemen who to my order was very helpful and kind. Not like some people who are only there for the paycheck. My poke bowl was perfect. The salmon, ahi tuna was cool and fresh. There was not one thing I did not like. I had a hard time finishing my bowl. That has never happened before. I don't drink soda but I did notice they do not have popular sodas like Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite etc.... it was some other brand I have never heard of before. But that a-ok with. All in all my first visit here was a huge thumbs up. I am adding this to my list of favorite poke bowl places.

$15.95 large 3 protein burrito. Shareable since it's pretty big and had good amount of protein (given the price), yum!

Are single-use plastics the only dine-in option? I bring my own utensils, but would love to support a Poké spot that doesn't produce so much waste.

You can actually use the aluminum bowl for dine in! And they have reusable chopsticks. But don't poké your eye out!

There were a few people there and a group ahead of me, but the wait wasn't long at all. I also really liked the atmosphere. The setup is cute and they had nice café music playing, so it seems like a good spot to hang out for a bit or work. Those are honestly the only reasons this ended up being 3 stars. I really wanted to like this place more than I did. Unfortunately, both my food and drink were disappointing. I got a poke bowl and even adding soy sauce wasn't helping much. It felt kind of thrown together, the salmon didn't taste marinated, and there weren't really any sauces or flavor to tie it together. I also got a mango smoothie mainly for my kiddo, but it tasted super chalky and artificial. Even he didn't like it and after a few sips we ended up throwing it away. Normally I would've gotten a coffee or milk tea, but I skipped caffeine that day. Maybe their coffee or milk teas are better and maybe other food items are too. I'd still be willing to give this place another try if I'm in the area because I did like everything else about the place. But I personally wouldn't recommend the poke bowl or fruit smoothies.

It doesn't bother me that it's semi-dimmed and small. The food made up for it even though my back was to the main entrance door. Good parking spaces. There was a waitlist but we didn't wait for over 30 minutes. Best bang for your buck AYCE sushi at $29.99/person and their menu is THICK. Even for someone who is used to sushi, it was overwhelming at first. The tablet made it easier to order without feeling so needy to the already-so-busy servers. Cheaper at lunch time but menu has less options, mainly no sashimi and only ice-cream as desserts. My favorites are chicken karaage, kanpachi sashimi, yellowtail sashimi, salmon sashimi, Cajun albacore sashimi, spider roll, Starbucks roll, baked green mussels, and their mochi (I got strawberry and mango). I got a lot more but those are my favorite and highly recommend for you to try. Final destination sushi rolls are majority of the people's favorite, including my server's. Eel sashimi is on a grill, which was surprising and good. Wasabi was lacking the spice and I'm not a fan of pink ginger but it's an AYCE so not complaining. What I do suggest you to do is to stay away from hot cheesecake and ice cream tempura. Unfortunately, they most likely use the same batter batch with their meats/seafood and they fry it with their seafood/meat oil so all you taste is mainly seafood, which is quite disgusting when you want your desserts to be desserts. I love seafood but that was gross. I still ate the insides. Overall, a solid restaurant for AYCE sushi. I like that the majority of their sushi rolls are half and they don't kill you with so much rice. Plus, you have an option to not get AYCE if you're not too hungry.

If you look at my restaurant reviews buying far the most of them are sushi, restaurants. This is truly an experience to be had. Not only is the service superlative, and the ambience rather comfortable, there is apparently an upstairs as well with a balcony as I understand it, but this restaurant is truly outstanding. The quality and caught of fish is simply wonderful. I had my standard Uni and Uni with quail eggs, and I believe it to be California Uni, but in any case, it was absolutely wonderful. The service was outstanding. Although there was a primary server, no one is beyond taking an order for a drink or food, which makes the dining experience absolutely wonderful because rather than wait people pass by and actually solicit, but they do so in a very pleasant manner. I could speak further to each and every cut of fish that I had the Hamachi Kama etc however every dish was good or better than the last. I had a Japanese old-fashioned, which was wonderful and made with Toki whiskey. Perfectly made a wonderful experience as it is a full bar. This is not a place to be missed.

The soup was a little thin with a strange sour aftertaste, and the tofu pieces were very small, similar to the pre-packaged ones. It was complimentary, so I didn't really have any complaints, but it wasn't the perfect appetizer to start the meal. Sweet Thai Tea - I love it when places nail this classic drink. I was feeling a little tired today and (I know it's bad), but I needed the sugar pick-me-up. This definitely hit the spot. Eel Avocado Roll - I loved the flavor of this. These rolls are always inexpensive and still very delicious, making them an easy go-to whenever you don't know what to order. I also got this for my mom because she's a picky eater, and she had no issues with it. Salmon Tempura Roll - The salmon was cooked, which caught me off guard since I was expecting raw salmon. The tempura was a bit oily and took up too much of the roll, leaving the filling pretty sparse. Because the inside was fairly bland, the sourness of the rice became more noticeable. This ended up being one of my least favorite rolls. California Tempura Roll - I loved the presentation of this one. The slight sweetness was a pleasant surprise, and the filling itself was delicious. The downside was that there just wasn't much of it, so each bite felt less satisfying than I expected. The thicker tempura batter also made the roll feel increasingly oily the more I ate. One small thing I noticed was that they initially gave us very little pickled ginger. We asked for more, and they happily brought out a generous serving. I assume they keep the first portion small because not everyone eats it, but they're more than willing to give you extra if you ask. The atmosphere was pleasant, the music wasn't too loud, and the seats were cozy. Customer service was friendly, fast, and efficient. Overall, my favorite part of the meal was actually the Thai tea because it hit my sweet tooth. The sushi wasn't overly impressive, but it also wasn't underwhelming. Even California Tempura Roll, one of the pricier rolls we ordered, still felt a bit skimpy on the inside. The prices were reasonable, though I wouldn't have minded paying a little more for better flavor and more generous fillings.
