I enjoy the food and have always tried to show my appreciation, including tipping when I place my order. Unfortunately, I have repeatedly had an uncomfortable experience while ordering. On at least three occasions, employees have had difficulty understanding me, even after I repeated my order several times. I understand that the restaurant can be loud and that my accent may sometimes make communication more difficult. That alone would not bother me. What concerns me is that when this happens, the employees begin speaking to one another in Spanish and laughing while I am still trying to order. Today, the employee taking my order repeatedly said, "What you say?" Even after I explained my order three times, she became distracted by conversations with two other employees, and all three began laughing. Whether or not they intended to make fun of me, that is how the interaction felt, and it was embarrassing and disrespectful. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or ridiculed while placing an order. Employees should remain focused on the customer and avoid side conversations and laughter that could reasonably be interpreted as mocking someone. I hope the owner or manager addresses this with the staff and provides appropriate customer-service training. I really like Just Salad's food and would prefer to continue coming here, especially since there is no other nearby location. However, this repeated behavior needs to be corrected.

The Dakota Grass fed beef I bought today has 'use/sell by date 7/22/26' and it's 7/28/26. The yogurts I bought last week were expired - sadly I checked the date after I opened one at home and it was clearly spoiled upon looking at it. I don't mind paying a bit more for the convenience of this market but not at the cost of buying food that has expired.
