They have a Hot Cheeto Sushi Burrito and it's fire!! the extra crunch really took this to the next level. I don't even eat sushi or poké like that, but this place got me hooked. Delicious fresh poke :) I got the poke nachos and the wonton chips with the fish was amazing. Generous amount of fish and toppings! Highly recommend. There's parking in the small plaza and seating inside.

I ordered from PokiTomik today for lunch I ordered two dishes, one for today one for tomorrow: The large Poké bowl with four scoops of protein (2x shrimp, salmon and tuna) With mixed greens and with small rice This is a beautiful bowl and the portions are super generous I also ordered a poke burrito, with shrimp and salmon, and lots of vegetables inside I chose the Nori wrap, it was my first time and honestly, I had a hard time eating it without having all the filling fall apart This nori wrap is not there is strong, although very healthy I had an order from that place in a very long time It was so fresh and so reasonably priced I highly recommend it

I finally tried PokiTomik and I have to say... I'm officially converted. This was actually my first time ever trying raw tuna (I know, I'm late ), and I'm so glad this is where I had the experience because it completely set the standard for me. The tuna was incredibly fresh, like melt in your mouth fresh. It didn't taste fishy at all, just clean, light, and perfectly chilled. You can genuinely tell when seafood is high quality, and this was it. I built my own bowl and went all in. I love texture in my food, and this bowl delivered. The crunchy crispy onions on top added the perfect savory bite, and the hot Cheeto crumbs were such a fun twist. It gave the bowl that extra kick and crunch that made every single bite exciting. I wasn't expecting to love that combination as much as I did, but wow! It definitely works. The contrast between the soft tuna and rice with all the crispy toppings made it so satisfying. Everything tasted super fresh, from the base to the toppings. Nothing felt soggy or thrown together. It was layered perfectly, and every bite had a little bit of everything in it. They were also generous with portions without overdoing it. It felt balanced, flavorful, and filling. I also have to give a shoutout to Andre! He was so great. Super friendly, patient, and helpful while I was figuring out what to order since it was my first time trying tuna. He made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy, which I really appreciated. Good food is one thing, but good service makes you want to come back, and he definitely did that. I also tried the shrimp tempura and it was sooooo good. It came out perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, not greasy at all. I've definitely had greasy and oily shrimp tempura, so this was done right! The batter had that light crunch that you want from good tempura, and it paired really well with the fresh poke flavors. It honestly made the whole meal feel even more satisfying. Overall, such a solid first poke experience for me. Fresh fish, fun crunchy toppings, and great service. I'll absolutely be back to experiment with more combinations. If you've been thinking about trying poke (or trying tuna for the first time like me), this is the place to do it. Thank you for having me!

The portions are so generous and definitely with the price in this economy! Andre made sure we had the best experience and was so attentive, ensuring the spice levels were fine and catered to our taste. This particular location of PokiTomik has served as a constant throughout my adult life. On bad days and good, a poke bowl from here cures all my woes. I am only sorry it's taken me so long to review this place. To me, no other poke place compares. I have tried other locations within the franchise but the flavors provided by the Valley Glen location are like no other. Everything tastes fresh and the options of toppings are plentiful and tasty. The staff are always kind and accommodating- even with a busy queue. Their rewards program is also amazing. Thanks for the good food and I look forward to eating many more bowls in the future.

Had to come on here and give PokiTomik some love. Pulled up and let Andre take the lead on my burrito, told him I was trusting his process and he absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, balanced, and packed with flavor. Portions are solid too. That Hot Cheetos burrito is messy in the best way possible... like fully commit, napkins on deck type of good.

Ok. I went here for the poke burrito but changed my mind when I found out it was made with nori or rice paper and not a flour tortilla. Opted for a bowl. It was really good. Fresh fish, good toppings. The staff was REALLY nice. And the prices are way better than the poke place I normally go to. Parking was tight, but will be back again for sure. read more

DELICIOUSSS POKE!! I wanted to eat light tonight so I ordered a regular bowl with a base of mixed greens and it was soooo delicious and flavorful. They use real crab meat as opposed to imitation crab salad like most places and the portions you get are huge compared to the price! Fish was fresh tasting and good quality! We ordered through yelp and it came earlier than anticipated too. This place will be getting a lot of future business from us!! I want to try the burrito next! Update: I tried the burrito and taco. One of the best poke burritos and tacos around, however, they seem to ALWAYS be out if the hot cheeto wonton shell? Been there many times and have yet to have it available! Other than that, I love getting their jicama tacos. This is not your average poke spot, it hits a lil different with some. They have hot Cheetos crumbs, spicy crab meat, jalapeño cream cheese and Chile lime sauces that go great with my tacos or burritos. There are some great Keto options if that's your style.. Glad to have a new Poki spot close by. I ordered a medium which includes 3 proteins. I like that they include both edamame and crab. Plus they have their own spicy crab or regular as well as a spicy soy sauce or regular. They are very generous with their variety of toppings. So I have tryed quite a few Poki places in the valley and Greater LA over the past few years. This place is quite excellent, especially the tacos. Staff is super friendly and always smiling. Been there "thrice" and at different times, and they are very consistent. Fish has always been fresh I wish they made a 2 scoop bowl as their 3 scoop standard is quite a bit of food, but 3 Wonton tacos for 10.00 is a good deal! read more

Normally order from poke house but my boyfriend wanted to try pokitomiks pokerrito. I didn't get any tofu in my poke or if there was it was unnoticeable. The eel sauce was completely liquid and it gave a gross texture to the mixed greens in the bowl. I will say that the fish was good quality however, so I do appreciate that. Even so, I can only give this place one star. I am mostly upset over the agua fresca pineapple drink. Agua frescas is made from fruits and herbs blended together, but I straight up got some bullshit concentrate. There wasnt even ice. Extremely disappointed in this resturant and will likely never order again. read more

The miso soup is an absolute must every single time we come, I love it! At this point all the servers recognize us, and the staff is honestly one of the reasons we love this place so much. Everyone is endlessly friendly, welcoming, professional, and FAST. Even when they're busy, everything runs smoothly. The restaurant is always very clean, the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. Shiki Sushi will always be one of our favorite spots in LA.

Katsuya-San was one of the pioneers and craftsmen of sushi in the San Fernando Valley in the 80's and 90's, starting as a chef at Kabuki in Northridge and transitioning to his own restaurant in Studio City which soon blossomed into a hospitality empire. He was the creator of the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice and many other staples of the San Fernando Valley sushi row. I met him personally at the opening of the Northridge location where we were honored to have him personally prepare food for us. He was a humble and proud chef, a perfectionist and a great businessman. RIP. His signature Sushi Katsuya restaurants in Studio City, Encino, Woodland Hills and Northridge (at the old Kabuki location where he started) are must visits for food, service and vibe/ambiance. Not to be confused with the KATSUYA chain by Stark. Highly recommended!

My husband and I showed up at 10:30pm, absolutely starving, fully expecting to be turned away since their sign says they close at 10. Instead, we were met with the kindest, most hospitable owner who didn't hesitate to take our order. They had already sealed everything for the night, yet they reopened their food and made our bowls anyway, with such generosity and warmth. That level of care and hospitality is so rare and honestly meant the world to us in that moment. We already loved Pokitomik 100% (and we live just 5 minutes away), but tonight took it to a whole new level. Incredible service, genuine kindness, and delicious food! Let me tell you--it was honestly the best poke bowl I've ever had! And as someone who regularly indulges in poke bowls, that's saying something! I saved the leftovers for today, and even then, it was still incredibly fresh. There was absolutely no fishiness at all, just pure deliciousness. Hands down the best poke place in LA. My fiance used to live in NoHo so this was our spot. Even after we moved 50 mins away, we continued to order delivery from this specific location, because the other locations just aren't as good as this one. Service is 5/5, they always make you feel right at home. They're very welcoming, and their suggestions for combinations are also . Lastly, if you're from LA, you know the best spots always have a mural of either Pac, Kobe, or Nipsey lol. Well this one does for sure. read more

There's 2 things I appreciate, great service and good food. Great service can make already good food even better. The owner is awesome, very polite and fun to chat with while ordering. He's very accommodating and seems genuine eager for you to enjoy some quality food. As for the food it's simply delicious. The sushi is fresh and tastes good. Drove to Sherman Oaks and was hungry so we decided to stop by PokiTomik. Andre could tell it was my first time here and I let him give me suggestions. The poke bowl is huge and the price is very decent. I got a regular bowl and it comes with 3 scoops of protein and it is loaded. Andre was very nice and even made me a wonton taco to try his way. I work a block away from this restaurant (the victory and cold water canyon store) and I go here to eat lunch every day when I'm at work. So delicious, fresh, well portioned, reasonably priced. Also everybody that works there is kind. I couldn't really say enough good about the value and quality. Go Here and eat! You 'll be glad you did. So many incredible options for your poke bowl. Whenever I'm craving something fresh that will forsure fill me up, this is the only place I think about. Portion sizes are hefty so you get a good bang for your buck!
