Go to poke spot in the valley. They really load the bowls up with the toppings. My typical order shoyu tuna and salmon with edamame, seaweed salad, crispy onion, crispy garlic, and scallions. The small is pretty hefty could make 2 meals out of it. read more

I've passed PokiTomik so many times, but never thought to try! Not even when I could walk here from my old place off Victory. My friend Jamie stopped by for a fun catch up and hang and I offered to get us dinner. He said he was craving poke!! I was like hmmm there are sooooo many poke places in LA and a lot of them have options for me too (thank you 2023)... So let's do it! PokiTomik is in Valley Glen at Victory Blvd/ Coldwater Canyon in the southwest corner shopping center next to Boba Cha Cha, Brick & Flour, across from local staples like Conroy's Flowers and the North Hollywood-ish Cinemark Theater. They have some seating inside and tall tables outside as well... Since we decided on deliver rather than dining in doing a horror movie night w/ random Drag Race clips and TikTok videos to follow and even out the fright night fix. We didn't get the full PokiTomik - Valley Glen/NoHo experience, but this places is cute (I've been by it a lot) so I do expect an in-person stop sometime. We did two Regular Scoop Bowls...Which are BIG portions... I can only imagine what the large bowls are like O.O... I loaded on all the veggies with a brown rice + mixed greens base and tofu over poki because that's just the vegan I am lol and Jamie went wild with choices including those hot cheeto toppings/crunchies... Can we get some takis crunchies for the people in the back please? Essentially when assembling your masterpiece you get choice of Base, Protein, Marination (spice level), Toppings (extra for avocado...), Drizzles (with some vegan as well as gluten free options) and Crunchies (aka those final toppings. Whether doing a bowl (like us), burrito, or wonton tacos... You can really load up! They also offer bottles + fountain style beverages and some unique classic cookies or ube pie for desserts (definitely suitable for dessert enthusiasts and vegetarians... not so much this guy lol). Parking in the lot is very shared, and gets congested when people are leaving, coming in and trying to park all at the same time, however... You can score a spot closeby if the lot is too much. I think im a sushi burrito fan now. Tried this on a whim because we had uber credit to use. I don't usually order things that are wrapped or sandwiched, but I was very intrigued with the high ratings of the hot cheetos burrito. And i'm so glad I got it! I got it with spicy tuna, salmon, mango, avocado and other toppings. The fish was good and the hot cheetos breading stayed crispy and fresh though it took a 20 min uber drive to get to me! It was also pretty big but I inhaled it. 5/5 My partner got the regular bowl with spicy tuna, salmon, and tuna but even with 3 proteins he said the amount is less compared to other locations. 4/5 Next time I'll try it in person when im nearby! read more

I ordered a pickup order and got two regular bowls. I enjoyed that there were some more "unique" options on their menu for the poke, but I didn't get too crazy with mine. With the regular bowls you get to choose three proteins and while we ordered our food at around 9pm everything still tasted fresh. I loved the mango yuzu and medium spice was perfect. And it was definitely a big serving, great for the price! Inside was your average size of a restaurant and very clean. The staff was nice as well. There was also a small lot in the front which we might have entered the wrong way lol but we got confused. read more

I called and the service kind and had patience. I've never been here nor have I ever order a poke bowl. The packaging was everything for me done professionally. Can't wait to try the variety sauce. I would of showed the wonton taco but I was hungry BUT it was Although the service was amazing once me and my partner got home to open up our food, we noticed we went through the spicy tuna and salmon, a lot faster, simply because we realize there was so imitation crab to basically throw us off. I wish they would've gone easy on the imitation crab and made it fair. read more

First, the staff gave off the vibe of just being upset that there were customers. The offer did not specify (unless it was really fine print that we didn't look for) that it has to be redeemed on a separate day but the main thing was when we asked why/questions about it the lady was pretty rude and dismissive about it when she could have just explained it normally and we would have understood. :/ |[ b a i t & s w i t ch ? ]| So fyi they have this thing where you sign up for mobile rewards or write a Yelp review and get a free taco, just a heads up YMMV and if you question it be prepared for some pushback. I'd take these reviews with a grain of salt since many probably did it on site for the deal (if it could even be called that). |[ p o k e ]| Fish and cilantro looked old but we also came near closing time. Taste was okay and sauces were really salty. If I return would prob ask for less sauce or on the side. A poke place that can do it in taco or burrito form! We got a burrito ($15) with hot cheetos exterior. Not too spicy but pretty unique. We also got a large bowl ($17.25). Like any other poke place, you select the proteins (shrimp, salmon, albacore), the filling (white or brown rice or greens) and a variety of crunches and other veggies and sauces. Avocados are extra. I think for burrito try not to fill with too much wet ingredients, makes the burrito soggy and fall apart without the paper wrapper. Parking is tight and a pain. It's technically one way, and enter from Victory but there are people that try to enter from Coldwatee Canyon wrong way. read more

Got in just before the dinner rush, the man behind the counter working tonight provided excellent service and suggestions! You can tell it's fresh. Very good portion sizes, great quality fish, and delicious poke. That spicy habanero sauce is the cherry on top. I drove from Burbank (rancho area) just to have this place again bc none of these other spots over here compare! Will definitely be back for more. read more

With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

The portions are smaller than the Rustic Spoon in Valley Village, but the flavors and quality are abundant. From curry to desser, noodles to rice dishes, appetizers, salads, soups, chef's specials and even a kid's menu. No wine, beer or alcoholic beverages available here, however excellent mocktails (Rose Mojito, Bloody Lychee), teas, and various classic beverages. We experienced a minor mix up with my order initially, I was brought a noodle dish with steak, but I think it was meant for another table since I don't eat meat and can't remember the last time I used steak in a sentence. It was an easy fix and we had zero other issues, aside for me leaving my bag at the table - they were super kind enough to flag us down on the sidewalk. Very clean and intimate inside with nice lighting from the street and their own special touch at night. Restrooms for customers Wi-Fi available upon request. Patio is pet friendly. Both entrees were cooked really well and were hot & tasty. My only complaint was that the beef was a bit overcooked and hard to chew. A lot of to-go orders and delivery/pick up by 3rd parties. Place was SPOTLESS CLEAN, including their gender neutral restroom. They also had nice decor all around. I really enjoyed my lunch and the portions being HUGE, took the rest home for my son to eat. Also loved the sauces they were served with. For my main I got the Pad woon sen and I felt like it lacked flavor. The chicken was also pretty dry and there wasn't much of it on the plate. Their menu is so big I would definitely come back and give it another try! Food was ready super fast. Great for take out or dine in!
