Ordered 12" rear brake kit and rack and pinion steering Jan 4 2021 ,$1985.00 w shipping . They charged my card got the money and sent me an email saying thanks we've processed your order ,thanks for shopping with us .Then nothing for weeks ,I finally emailed them no answer. There web site states that if parts are backordered they will let you know. .Not! First call Jan 22 ,was told probably middle of February, second call February 22 ,told that they just got the rotors and the rack was going to be drop shipped from manufacturer around March 6 th?.February 25 recieved email that my order was successfully completed and was given two tracking numbers, order complete? No I got the brakes in two boxes. I still haven't received the rack but did confirm w/ pol that order was not " complete" and I was going to someday get the steering that is holding up my project . Now back to the brakes... I prior to ordering looked at so many web sites and products trying to make sure I was getting the product I wanted .To realize that they couldn't even get the facts straight ,even if it's only a quarter of an Inch . When I unpacked the rotors they looked kind of small. The part that the pads ride on is pretty narrow . I am not impressed. Then I measured 11 3/4" . I think that's enough to know better .Oh yea I went back and sent an Inquiry about the brakes with the stupid question "how big are the rotors" for their 12" brake package. They didn't answer. Never again. Bought rear rotors for my 61 Impala and the center hole is too small. They simply said to grind the hole bigger, " you can have this done at any machine shop, it should only run you about $20.00, due to the axle variations we do not open the hats up here so that it will fit multiple applications." These were bought for 58-64 chevy cars why in world wouldn't they fit! Never again! read more

Ordered a the chrome wildwood m/c with booster. Master cylinder had a internal leak so they had me send it to wildwood. I was told that as soon as I get them a tracking number they would send me another. That was on a Friday. Still waiting for a note that they are sending me another. Horrible customer service! Lack of communication is unbelievable. If you ever don't receive an item do not expect your money back, a replacement, or even a phone call or email back. They will not address issues i have had with calipers, hoses and brake pressure switch that i had ordered and paid for. they did send 1 replacement caliper that was not the same as what i originally purchased then, due to time to ship other parts and not knowing if they would be wrong again i had to purchase replacement parts from a local vender to solve my issues and now AFTER REPEATED CALLS AND EMAILS JC GENTY will not respond by phone or email. everyone there makes up excuses to why he cannot answer. the only time i did talk to him on the phone i had to use FAKE NAME TO GET HIM TO TAKE MY CALL!!!Will never buy from this company again and i would suggest that anyone who reads this review BEWARE THERE PRODUCTS ARE GARBAGE!!! Overall, this ordering experience has not been that great. I went to their website, selected all of the available options I wanted, and paid using PayPal. Then I was called by Chris from POL who told me that the price I got online was off by $180 and that I needed to spend more money for the two drop spindles that I needed because their website didn't update the final total properly before I checked out. However, I negotiated a slightly lower price to compensate. Afterwards, I had to call several times over the next week to get Chris to finally send me something, ANYTHING. He never could get the order shipped and I was still waiting for a tracking number four days later. Thankfully, I finally got in touch with Johnny, who staged the shipping in 3 phases so that I could at least get started working on the brakes. Johnny did a good job getting the shipping taken care of. After I started plumbing in the brake lines I noticed the 2 lb. check valve for the front brake lines was defective. I called and talked to Aaron about it and waited for a call back. Finally, the next day I had to call him back and he agreed to send me a replacement. Then this weekend I noticed the front brake dust shields were missing from the shipment while I was attempting to finish the brake conversion. They were listed on the parts list, and the instructions showed that they were required to go on before I did anything else. That forced me to stop the install, and wait until Monday morning to call them about it. It turns out that they don't have dust shields that fit the drop spindle configuration, so if I want them I'll have to fabricate them myself. On the positive side, the product they sell looks like it's high quality and I expect that it will drastically improve my Charger's stopping performance, but this should have gone so much smoother. Called and requested help on drop spindles for large GM metric calipers and was given what to order. Received the wrong spindles (small calipers). Shipping charge was 38 bucks and it cost me $51.00 to return them. So far I haven't had my PayPal credited with the $228.00 . They admitted they received the spindles 3 days ago but couldn't tell me if and when I will receive my refund. I am out $89.00 in shipping charges and $ 228.00 for the drop spindles. I highly recommend that no one use this company! After talking to one of there so called "experienced staff" on a project I am currently building a 69 Chevy C20 8lug conversion to 79 C10 5lug I requested a complete front end rebuild kit for the C10 clip. I was given a part number for the kit again! Explained and questioned the "expert" helping me before I placed the order the following day online. Come to find out the so called "expert" gave me all C20 parts and bushings. Like anyone who has taken the time to build there project and show detail knows that it takes a lot of time and money to make these rides perfect when I finally got my suspension pieces back from powdercoat and paint I proceeded to start reassembling only to find out nothing that was shipped was what I requested. I proceeded to contact performance online on several attempts to speak to a supervisor that never called me back let alone got on the phone. Only to be told by several "experts" that I was the one at fault because I followed the recommendations from there "experienced expert staff". And that I had 30 days to return the products. Long story short here. This is the most unprofessional parts business in the car industry period. Not only do they not hold any accountability for there "expert" sales staff on recommending the right parts but they will not help you in anyway or form if there has been any mistake. The old saying of the customer is always right does not apply to these frauds. I recommend that you spend your money elsewhere. I'm giving a one star because that's the lowest possible. I've done business twice with POL. I've had trouble both times with broken parts or parts that don't fit and poor customer service. Their prices are attractive. During the sale they are friendly. However, if there is a problem or you need technical support, there is no sense of urgency. It takes multiple calls and emails to get issues solved. Recently, I purchased a C - noch Kit for a 1967 C-10, it didn't fit. When I called, I was told - they were aware of the problem BUT they were trying to get rid of the last of the defective part so they can start selling a deferent brand. They Deliberately sold me a part that was defective, just to get rid of their stock. I've ask to Speak with a manager, but my call was not returned(same as other times). No effort was made to offer a new part or refund. They have lost my business! read more

I purchased a full drop leaf spring suspension for my 1960 F-100 back in May, same as previous reviewer Michael L. and had issues from the get go. The whole reason for ordering new leaf spring packs was to achieve a drop without loosing drive quality. I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the leafs are super soft. The problems I had from the beginning were minor, all bushing but 2 were installed. The leaf spring pack was "cleaned up" at POL after manufacturer delivered which was a poor rattle canned paint job. The leaf springs didn't have liners (didn't expect them to), so I broke them down to add liner to prevent squeaking in future and to my surprise, the center hole is not aligned! You would think a manufacturer that specializes in this would have a jig of some sort and drill the hole once but looks like it was done individually, which made it a pain to get them back together. The only issue I brought to POL's attention were the missing bushings, and instead of sending me 2 bushings, it was back and forth emailing for weeks, putting blame on manufacturer which makes no sense to me since POL is selling the stuff. I then read about the review of them being way too soft and unsafe which pushed me to get the suspension all buttoned up and sure enough, I have a crappy ride. My set came with western chassis shocks which is a reputable company so my best guess would be leafs are trash, I would much rather it be the shocks, easy fix, but unfortunately it's the heart of the suspension, very disappointing. So, I invested a grand to get the ride quality I could have gotten for free by removing leafs. Of course it's all "custom" so no returns or refunds. read more

August 2016 me brother purchased a disc brake conversion for a bog stock ex Californian 1962 Cadillac coupe. Now this thing is supposed to be a simple bolt up n drive off into the sunset jobbie...it was anything but, nothing fitted properly from the start. We even had to cut a section out of the inner fender to accommodate the master cylinder. POL were sent many pictures showing the problems we faced and with us asking for an explanation as to why it had all gone so wrong, this took some time and eventually it was put down to being a unique Cadillac. We think not, and of course we get told POL had sold 66 disc conversions for the year up to September last year and we are the only ones to have had a problem. It is now July 2017 and the brake lines supplied by POL have failed, all cracked, just junk. Didn't even last 12 months. Pictures have been sent to them but no reply, didn't surprise me. Unfortunately we live 9,000 miles from California down in the South West of Australia so its not like we can just rock up n have a chat about it, we have to rely on emailing. About the only thing we can thank POL for is the replacement of the wrong front wheel bearings, this was done very promptly and with apologies. So, the bottom line is we are pretty disappointed with how POL handled the problems we faced. If you live in California and can deal with em directly then that might work out, outside that, I'd give them a miss, it ain't worth the frustration of it all read more

I highly recommend that if you are considering buying parts from this company DON'T!!! They took my money and five weeks later I still do not have my parts. I have called twice to inquire as to what the delay was because I wasn't able to track anything online. I ordered the parts on 27 Feb 2017 and after two weeks I figured that was ample time for the parts to be delivered even by snail mail standards. So I called on 10 March 2017 to be told the parts were not in Stock and the expect a shipment on 13 March 17 and that once the receive the parts they will then be sent to powder coating and that would take 2 days. I waited until 31 March 17 and still no parts, no email stating there was a back order or anything related to fact I haven't received my parts. I called on the 31st and spoke to Brandon who claimed he was the parts manager. He processed to tell me once again the parts that I ordered 30+ days ago were not in stock. He gave me the same garbage about powder coating the other guy did. I also explained that the truck that this was for was my primary vehicle and I needed this to get back and fourth to work and that had been car pooling and getting rides with coworker because I was under the impression that my parts were on the way in a reasonable time frame. I also explained my dissatisfaction with the lack costumer service. They require a person to setup an account to include a email address to purchase parts but don't have the common curiosity to send a simple email explaining any delays. Oh, I forgot Brandon the parts manager also stated that he would email on 4 April 17 to give me a status update and that has yet to happen. So now they are liars with terrible customer service. Purchased a 90degree under dash clutch/brake assymbly. What this company boils down to is there parts peddlers ! It took over "3" weeks to Recieve my complete original order, do to lack of attention by the sales person and shipping. I was told Fairy tales as to why my order didn't come complete and was told by " CRAIG" the manager that basically that just the way it is! These guys are nothing but part pusher for other company's. I made a purchase for the first time from this company and the results have been nothing but awful. I spent 170$ dollars and order 3 parts for my restoration projects, hoping to move a few steps forward on my budget build. Well that was not the case, its been a month now and I have received 2 of the 3 parts that I ordered and paid for. I have called multiple time and have been given a reason or two over and over again. It has delayed my project waiting for parts to someday show up, not to mention my small monthly budget money I have tied in with them. I purchased parts for my 56 Chevy and found out afterwards the electric fan and shroud were not enough to cool down my motor not enuf cfm. I called for a return authorization and was give one, even tho I was past my 30 days. The rep said use this number and add a jr on the end so that it would be brought to his attention. I UPS'd the returns as instructed on May 11,2016. Three weeks later I called and they said they were behind in the return warehouse, ok. I waited and called again after bout 10 days, NO NOT YET, That didnt work IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF BY THE END OF THE DAY. That didn't work either, so I called yesterday June25, more than a little peeved, sales man was less than interested in hearing or more interested in talking and talking and telling me I was be a A##h##E.
