Plenty of room at tables. Not a crowded seating area

The entire experience was excellent. I had the Pork Chops. Two Chops an inch thick. Plenty of side options. Our waitress Magdalena was amazing. Offering up different options on the menu. She did not miss when she suggested the appetizer Pane de Grill. A pastry type with a sauce that needs to be wrapped and sold separately. I would have taken pictures of the meals but did not want to be that person when out with friends. We had a large group and Magdalena constantly filled all the individual needs.

One of the finer dining establishments in the Polaris area north of Columbus, Polaris Grill is a combination of bistro and fine dining menu options. A great place to meet family or friends for dinner, or a lunch/brunch on a shopping day at one of the many retail establishments found nearby. I recommend reservations, always, although it is possible to walk in. My belief is that doing so leaves less to chance and disappointment. The staff here are friendly and eager to accommodate requests.

We had a good dinner here. The table bread isn't very good but we got the Pane de Grill which came with queso and both were excellent. The puff bread was so cool looking (wish I took a picture but we dove in too quickly) and it tasted great. I had the Mardi Gras Pork Chop with red beans and rice and greens. The pork chops were very good as were the greens, the rice and beans were bland and disappointing. I also had the chicken and crawfish gumbo and it was also excellent. My daughter had the salmon Oscar and it was very good, she loved it and it came with plenty of crab meat. My wife had the mixed berry salad with salmon and it was also very good. Our service was very good as our server was very attentive and accommodating.

We were here for brunch the morning after the Buckeyes game -- really terrific! We sat outside on their BEAUTIFUL patio, and were promptly greeted. I had to work a little with the server on the GF, because the GF menu doesn't include brunch.... I worked out fine! I ordered the Filet Mignon Benedict on GF toast with cheesy grits. It was all very good... the steak was cooked beautifully; the béarnaise had great flavor; eggs poached perfectly. The exciting surprise was the grits, which were cooked to a hard-to-find-in-the-north creaminess, and incredibly tasty. My friend had the Bananas Foster French Toast with chicken sausage, which were delicious -- both were sizable portions, and the maple syrup had bananas in it for extra flavor. Highly recommend trying the Polaris Grill. Their lunches and dinners are just as delicious, and don't miss the "55" dressing!

Excellent food and service! We were able to walk there from where we were staying, which was great after a long day of driving. We sat out on the patio, which was lovely except for the traffic noise. But I am a spoiled country girl and used to peace and quiet.

Well..... it was going really well here...until it wasn't. We were all practically starving by time we made it to Polaris Grill, so I was hungry and ready to eat. The inside is your typical grill/restaurant, noise level is pretty low. Our server was really great, he was cheerful, friendly, and even took time to answer my kids silly questions. We ordered a few apps to start, crab cakes, margherita pizza, and calamari. Actually I think we ordered 2 plates of calamari since the kids liked it so much. Everything's fine so far...so we order our entrees, a burger, twin filets, a mixed grill, and a NY strip for me. It doesn't look like the freshest food ever and the veggies gave an out the freezer vibe. No big deal, like I said we were hungry. Temp on the steaks and burgers are all correct everyone's eating. Three bites into my steak, my daughter starts yelling at me to stop. So I put my fork down and ask are you okay? She says.... There's something moving in your plate I understand that with veggies there's always a risk of bugs being in there, but considering none of our plates included any leafy vegetable or anything that shouldn't have been washed prior to serving, it really just left me wondering if I had eaten anything else and wanting to puke. The manager or assistant manager did come out to apologize and offered to make me something else, to which I declined bc finding a bug in your food doesn't really do much for your appetite. Ultimately they wound up remaking the plate for me to take home and offered to take it off the bill. Not sure if it was comped, I didn't check and the bill seemed pretty high. I also couldn't bring myself to eat the plate they remade. So yeahhh pretty safe to say this place has been crossed off our list permanently.

    Traditional Breakfast with cheesy grits.

Last minute reservation for Mother's Day Brunch. Started off with mimosas and a Bloody Mary and the Beignets. Food was good and service was great. Scrambled eggs on the traditional breakfast was ordered light scramble and were a little overdone but overall, still good. Cheesy grits were awesome.

Had a lovely brunch with my parents at Polaris grill. Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and everyone got something they wanted. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and nicely appointed. Our food was fresh and tasty.

Great friendly professional service staff. Wonderful atmosphere including outdoor dining experience ehen the weather is great. The menu, appetizers, meals are large in portion sizes and awesome presentation when served. The flavors are very good seasoned and matched with perfect sides to compliment the main entries Definitely will be on my go to list when in the area.

Haven't been here in a long time so we decided to stop by and have dinner . Ruth was our server and did a great job in answering our questions and describing some of the dishes .I had the maque choux which was very good . Couldn't eat all of it so brought the left overs home for another meal. My daughter had the six cheese ravioli which she really liked and my granddaughter had the chicken and Tasso penn . Which was also good . Over all it was a very nice meal . Had the crème brûlée for desert, which was covered with whipped cream and strawberries, alittle different but very good

Then there is Nick, our server today, that greats you very kindly and welcomes you with a warm smile. He answers all your questions and made a couple of recommendations as this was our first time here. His recommendations were well recieved and turned out to be what we expected, they were great. I got the meatloaf, sounds like big deal. But let me tell you, this is a great tasting dish. Well balanced flavor and seasoning. My wife had the chicken & Amish noodles over mashed potatoes and it was delicious as well. Then Nick suggested dessert, recommended the Chefs Christie's Famous Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie | A La Mode. This is unlike any cinnamon roll you have ever had. It was delicious. We split that and I think my wife got more of it than I did. Oh well. Like I said this wasn't just eating out at a nice restaurant, this was a great dining experience to tell your friends about.

Books everywhere, the menus are literally books, there's this big community table in the middle plus booths if you want your own space. But the real shocker... the girls actually tried the tea and liked it I fully expected faces and complaints but nope. We did order a grilled cheese and a burger just to be safe and both were solid. Also tried an espresso martini for the first time and yeah I get the hype now, it was really good. And our server was so sweet, super patient, explained the teas, made suggestions without being pushy. You can tell she actually cared about the experience. Overall just a really cute, different kind of outing, especially if you're trying to do something a little more memorable with kids.

The staff is nice and this particular location seemed larger than others that I've been to. Food was just as good as I've become used to. During our recent visit up on Polaris Parkway in Columbus, we decided to sit on the heated patio (which is clutch in Ohio). The vibe inside? Rustic wood, stone accents, mounted TVs everywhere -- classy lodge energy with a side of game day chaos. The staff rock the signature red-and-black checkered flannels, jean shorts, and Ugg boots -- think "sexy lumberjack chic." It's playful, but the atmosphere itself feels more polished ski retreat than dive bar. Our server, Sydney, was friendly and efficient. She stayed on top of refills and check-ins even though the place was buzzing. Now... small rant. We unfortunately sat under a speaker, and it felt like I was eating dinner at a rock concert. I'll never understand the volume war: music plays to drown out conversations, people talk louder, then the music gets turned up again. Next thing you know, I'm basically yelling my sandwich order to my wife. Sorry -- rant over. Speaking of that sandwich... I ordered the Turkey Smashed Avocado Sandwich -- basically an upscale club. Turkey breast, Swiss, smashed avocado, bacon, tomato, red onion, arugula (nice touch instead of basic lettuce), and spicy mayo on potato bread. It came with waffle fries and one of their famous 29-degree beers in a frosted mug. And let me tell you -- that ice-cold beer absolutely hit the spot. The sandwich was fresh, stacked high, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Smashed Avocado Burger with fries and said she'd happily get it again. Twin Peaks sometimes gets labeled as "upscale Hooters," but don't believe everything you hear. Yes, the uniforms are on the sexy side, but the decor is classy, the food is scratch-made, and the menu goes way beyond burgers -- steaks, meatloaf, skillet green beans, loaded chips... it's more elevated than people expect. So if you're near a Twin Peaks, stop in, grab an ice-cold 29-degree beer, order a burger or sandwich, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Just maybe ask not to sit under the speaker

The ambiance was definitely vibey and perfect for socializing, with a lively atmosphere that fit our group of 13 well. Unfortunately, everything after the hostess stand went downhill on the service side. Our server felt disengaged from the start and rarely checked on us. It was hard to tell if we'd said something wrong or if he was just having an off night, but even after asking other staff members to send him over, he never came back to check on our table. With automatic gratuity already added for a large party, it was disappointing to experience such minimal attention and care. What I had: * Mediterranean Salmon (shared): The portion split felt more like 75/25 than an even share, which was a little odd for something asked to be split. The salmon itself was decent, but the hummus quickly overpowered the dish if you mixed everything together. * Teriyaki Ribeye: I requested medium rare and received a steak well past well-done, dry enough that it was basically inedible. It almost tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly cooked. Since our server never checked in, I had to flag someone else down to get it replaced, and the remake took about 15 minutes to arrive--even though the cut was thin and already marinated. * Old Fashioned: The cocktail came out quite watered down, with very little depth of flavor. I would've asked for it to be remade, but again, our server was nowhere to be found. The bar program also felt surprisingly limited for a place that leans into a social, cocktail-forward vibe, which added to the letdown. Between the uneven service, lack of follow-through, and several misses on the food and drinks, it's hard to say I'd rush back--especially when there are so many other strong options in Columbus.
