Our visits required skill at pulling particularly malignant teeth, bone grafting, and preparing the mouth for implants. A referral to Dr. Jong came with high praise from our own wonderful dentists, Dr. Tomazin and Dr. Kim located in Riverside. They are part of a special circle of dentists in our area who are holistic practitioners. My husband has been a patient of Dr. Jong's for at least a couple of years. Mr. B has the gift of particularly bad genes when it comes to teeth. In each instance, we chose to replace those rascals with an implant. Ripping them out all at once was not in the cards, they chose to demand their own attention one...at...a...friggin...time. So having a trustworthy dentist for each these instances was essential. And now, most recently, it was my turn to visit the good doc after a back molar with an old root canal decided to crack and become infected. I was informed these are the kind of teeth that no dentist wants to address unless they are specialized. Enter Dr. Jong. His spacious, impeccable office has a calming vibe and his staff are delightful. More importantly, he pays close attention to make sure that you will feel no pain during the process. Unlike the commercials I see these days that promise you brand new implants in one, yes ONE day (not sure how that goes), this process promises to be a test in patience. Mine required multiple visits starting with x-rays from 3 specialists before they decided this tooth was a real loser, followed by subsequent visits for the extraction and bone grafting, another for stitch removal, then waiting 4-5 months for the graft to take and the gum to heal. Then Dr. Jong does the actual implant process. The last tah dah is my personal dentist who performs the final crown fitting and installation. So there you have it. A glorious way for me to support the dental community and keep enjoying eating steak, not pablum, in my old age. Bottom line. Dr. Jong is excellent and comes highly recommended by me and my dentist.

An assistant manager kind of woman at the front desk showed me the one-implant original price ($6,658.00), but she gave me the final total cost of the loan $5,811.20 because she said in-house dentistry discount. She made me an electrical sign for the original price of $ 6,658.00. And later she made me sign again for $ 5,811.20. At that time, she told me to rest assured that this price difference would change on the system. And she said the total bill was $ 5,811.20. After that, I received my first bill from the Smile Generation that this dentistry has. The invoice showed the original price of $ 6,658.00 instead of $ 5,811.20. I visited the dentist's office and told her about it. And she promised me a refund of $846.80 ($6,658.00-$5,811.20) A few days later, when I logged in to my Smile Generation account, I was able to confirm the refund, but the refund amount was -$ 651.25 instead of the full difference of -$ 846.80. I again visited the dentist 3 times and complained about it. Every time I visited, she promised to refund the difference of -$195.55 ($ 846.80-$651.25). However, I couldn't confirm the refund after a month, so I visited the dentist again. She again said she would refund it. But nothing happened. I went to the dentist at least 5 to 6 times and made a complaint. This was wasting my time. It was already 3 months passed. Never refund. In the end, I talked to the office manager on 1/26/2022. He confirmed the final difference of $195.55 in the system in front of me and my wife. He promised he would process the refund.  but he said it would take a month. (I doubt why it took so long. It's impossible.) because the first refund ($651.25) I could confirm was just a few days... but he said a month. I tolerated and agreed with what he said. I waited and waited. However, even after a month of 2/26/2022, the refund of $ 195.55 had not been confirmed yet. It was already 4 months passed. I decided to contact the Dental Board of California.  Thomas Trevor is the main dentist and CEO of dentistry. He has the responsibility.  I emailed him directly. I told him that I assumed that his staff (manager and the assistant kind of woman are cheating patients like this and they use the difference of the amount for their own money) I contacted lawyers and they gave me several advice. I also decided to give a bad rate about this dentistry.  This is CEO's management issue. He needs to control his office manager and his assistant. They are very fishy. They are not sincere. I emailed this dentist 3 times but never replied. Very irresponsible after all... My last day of the dental appointment was 2/12/2022.  At the time, money -$195.55 was not refunded. The Dental Board of CA (DBC) emailed me back and care about this matter. They mailed me in the middle of March 2022. Waited and waited... I finally confirmed -$195.55 in my smile generation account on 4/1/2022. It took more than 5 months. What is this!!! I am sure that they never refunded me if I did not contact DBC. Also, I asked for my teeth cleaned. They showed me the total price of $1381.00 with so many service items. It's so expensive just asking for only regular cleaning. I didn't need to have such a deep cleaning. I asked the fishy manager that I just wanted to do the regular teeth cleaning. Then he said they wouldn't give me the cleaning. I needed to do a $1380.00 cleaning. I am sure this dentist, especially the tricky and swindler manager there... ripped patients off! Please be careful all!

After my third trip to urgent care, multiple misdiagnosis and two rounds of antibiotic's, they finally told me to contact my doctor or dentist. I was COMPLETELY clueless as to who I needed to call. At that point, I'd missed a week of work (fortunately, I had plenty of PTO to spare) and I was basically hysterical. I contacted my dentist first thing Monday morning and they referred me to an oral surgeon. Naturally, the oral surgeon accepted my dental insurance but not my medical insurance (they weren't sure if it would cross over to medical). I still made the apt for the next day but started looking for someone who accepted both insurances. I am SO grateful I found this office. Everyone there was incredibly kind and they fit me in that morning. The doctor and was amazing. The woman at the front desk was a saint for getting me in so quickly (kicking myself that I don't remember her name.) I have nothing but praise to sing for this office! I signed in and registered using an IPad, which it was done in less than a couple minutes. I was brought to the x-Ray area. The x-ray specialist was polite and professional. Doctor came to examine the x-ray photos and gave advices on procedures that needed to be done. The dental hygienist then performed the deep cleaning. She was very gentle and efficient. I didn't feel any discomfort except the cavity area. After she was done, she advised not to eat acidic food for the whole day. However, the deep cleaning hit some nerve endings and I had severe pain for days. I had to go back to get prescribed pain meds. Overall, it was good except the extreme pain for days. 2.9 out of 5.

I would have to say that in every visit, I was seen within 5 minutes. If I had to wait, it was because others were late to their appointments, but you're in and out within 15-20 minutes depending on what needs to be done. They keep it moving.
