They are super busy always schedule an appointment if you can. The place is really nice and clean inside. The nail techs are very friendly they actually talk to you no awkward silence. Earlier today my girlfriend went here, as she has twice monthly for the past two years, for a mani/pedi. She had selected nail art from a Pinterest photo and asked the technician if he could replicate the art on ONE of her fingers rather than all five. He said he could. He lied. The nails looked ok but the artwork wasn't close to what she wanted or showed an example of in a photo. Unfortunately, this is now the third consecutive time something of this sort has happened. Despite speaking with the manager, who said the nails looked great, the salon was unwilling to do anything to try to make the nails look as she wanted. As a result she will start to look for a new salon that specializes in mor3 high end work. Too bad since they are less than one mile from where we live. If you prefer a turn and burn type of approach to what should be a relaxing event then this is for you. If you are looking for something artistic I recommend you stay clear. read more

First of all, It took TWO HOURS to just get gel on my toes and fingers. That's WAY too long. I've been to other salons who have done a much better, more professional job. One person working on me, not two people, and they've gotten my nails (mani AND pedi) done in 30-45 minutes. My lady was really sweet but EXTREMELY slow. She cut a chunk of skin off on my thumb. She also only painted two nails at a time?????????????? Who does that??? There is fuzz underneath 3 different nails that I told her to get and she didn't. My polish on my fingers is super lumpy and uneven. My right thumb has a chip in it because it wasn't filed correctly. She also left some leftover blue polish that was on before still on my nails.... really? In addition, their chairs are a piece of crap. I couldn't move the chair any closer... I'm average sized, not short. So I was slumped, nearly laying down so that my feet could reach her. The massage balls in the chair we also digging into my back (they weren't even on) because the chair isn't cushioned enough. The bar station where they do manicures is super overly crowded. When my lady sent me over there she said that someone would PROBABLY come get me?? She ended up just doing my nails again. I feel bad leaving this review because she was really sweet and thanked me for my patience but this is ridiculous. I would ask for my money back but it's not even worth that. Let me just say that this nail salon deserves even more than 5 stars. I come here often, and was last there about a month ago. The day after I got my toe nails painted/done, I went to old navy and the door of their fitting room hit my toe and literally took off my entire cuticle and left me bleeding on the floor. It looked as dramatic as it sounds, believe me. However, even though my toe now appears as though it has gone through battle, my nail polish did not even chip. Not even a bit. I had really high expectations for this place after some friends of mine told me they loved it. I went this past week and brought in a photo of some thing I would like. They weren't able to accomplish what I wanted even after switching it nail techs. I don't think the design was pretty hard. They weren't able to match the colors or get even close to what the photo looks like. I would've appreciated it if they just told me up front that they couldn't do it so I could pick some thing else. Today for some reason she was not very nice, I asked for a peach gel she told me if I couldnt find it In The sample basket they didn't have it, I also had to tell her 5 times how I wanted my nails. When she told me they didn't have peach (but didn't even get up to look) I told her I wanted clear. I guess she didn't like that cause she then offered an Sns dip. I declined politely and there was an awkward silence the entire time after that. She told me have a seat and Linda would be with me shortly for my pedicure. After I sat in pedicure chair she comes over with my bill & says Linda does manicures too, and that Linda would add the pedicure bill to hers. After I showed Linda the color I wanted she went and found it. i took that as Sams way of telling me she didn't want to do my nails anymore. And she won't, this will sadly be my last visit. Unprofessional! I called to schedule appointments for my daughters and I one week in advance of one of my daughters coming in to town. Upon calling, I was put on "hold." I could hear everything going on in the salon, including others calls being taken and appointments made. I tried yelling into the phone to get their attention, but to no avail. I hung up and called back and was, again, asked if I would hold. I told them no and explained why. They apologized and made my appointments. The day before my appointments, they called to push the appointment up 15 min. and I agreed. I showed up on time the day of my appointments only to be told I didn't have any. I showed them my confirmation text and was still told I had no appointment. Not only was my appointment cancelled that we had been waiting for, but the way it was handled by the staff was discourteous. The owner Ben is absolutely amazing, the nail technicians are super friendly and they give you what you want. Holly did my nails and she made them perfect and out of all the places I have been too in the west and east valley this place is now my new go to. I've been coming to polish room since they opened. Not only is the staff extremely professional, everyone is friendly. What other place can you walk into where everyone knows you by name? All they need is alcohol at the bar and I would spend my whole day here! When you go in ask for Daniel or really anyone else because I've never had a bad experience here! Not to mention they always go above and beyond. I went in one day with a broken nail and mentioned as a joke I didn't own a nail file...I was immediately seated and left with my nail fixed for free with a new nail file in hand. I first visited this salon in April 2017. It's a very pretty and classy looking salon, great first impression. I was greeted by a young lady at the front desk and the wait was not long. The technician, Tim, was very nice however his work and the products were sub-par. I got a simple gel manicure and regular pedi, both in black. It was busy that day. Tim applied my gel coats hastily, and I don't think he let them cure under the UV light for as long as they should have which resulted in a thick, lumpy finish. There were imperfections (like sand) trapped beneath the coats. The layers were not feathered very well either. The gel peeled within 5 days, and it was still wet and gunky when it started to come off. My pedicure wasn't much better, the black polish was a brand that I was unfamilar with, I usually stick to OPI because it's durable. The black polish was a bit tacky it seemed, and wouldn't lay nicely when he applied it. He got it all over my toes and then scraped/wiped it away the best he could. Less than 3 days later, it started coming off in flakes. I was so disppointed that I ended up removing the polish myself. I didn't have time to go back in and get it fixed and I wish I would have taken pictures to give you all an idea. The last visit, about a week ago, was better. I think my technician's name was Diane. She too, was very sweet. This time, I made sure to choose a shimmery white OPI and didn't give the tech an opportunity to use an off-brand. For my pedi, Diane applied two coats and then a top coat. I didn't get much time to inspect my toenails before I was ushered to the manicure booth but I noticed that the top coat had "pulled" and shrunken the color coat leaving it looking messy and transparent in some spots. I thought that maybe it just needed time to set and dry completely because I don't normally get lighter colors. Nope, still looked like crap after I got home. Perhaps the biggest letdown was the manager at the manicure booth next to me. When I told Diane about my previous experience with the black gel and that it too had started peeling the manager overheard and piped up, "That's why you have to make sure you leave it under the light for as long as we say!" ...ummm, what? Excuse me? I informed her that the previous tech did a piss-poor job and she continued to try to put it back on me! She had the tech double-check the UV light timers and she kept telling me, "Leave your hands under the light until it goes off" (even though I never attempted to remove them, lol) Anyway, I went back to have the second pedicure fixed because I wasn't about to get taken twice by this salon and the same manager did have a new technician fix my pedicure. Three stars. And that's generous, in my opinion. Sad because I had much higher hopes for this place. read more

Can I give 6 stars?? I've lived only five minutes away from this place for over 3 years and barely went for the first time over the weekend. I'm kicking myself for not coming earlier. It is such a relaxed environment, even when they got really busy it was still stress free. The pedicure stands come with a lift for resting your leg on when getting a callus removed and it is the best. The frosted tint on the windows makes it feel exclusive from where it is located. SO MANY color options to choose from too. The staff is very friendly and extremely talented. read more

I couldn't be more supportive of Ben and his decision on enforcing masks. Anyone with half a brain knows that simply doing a temperature check like how you do at the "dentist", is NOT an effective way to detect if a person has COVID or not. All the people who are upset that Polish room is still enforcing masks and doing their best to protect not only their workers but their customers as well are selfish. I say GOOD RIDDANCE. This was my first time here. I was a walk in. I didn't have a long wait. Beautiful, bright, clean interior. The salon was a cool temperature which was awesome. So many places are so warm I need a fan blowing on me. I loved having a cushioned seat while I got my gel manicure. My legs weren't sticking to plastic seats. Rosie did an amazing job on my toes and fingers. She was easy to talk to. She asked how I wanted my nails shaped, made sure I was happy with the length and made sure nothing hurt. I tried the polish room while on vacation in the area but I wasn't impressed at all. My technician rushed through my mani pedi. My nails weren't filed evenly and the polish had bumpy spots like grains of sand which i pointed out right away. The tech said that wasn't anything to worry about and that the 2nd coat would fix it but then the 2nd coat was applied way too heavy to try to cover the bumps and then she put the top coat on super thick too so it dried weird. When a said again that there were bumps in the polish she said that wasn't in her control. I definitely don't recommend and won't be back. read more

WORST EVER! I had a fill done 1 week ago (original set not from here) and so far I have had 5 nails break AND my nail polish is flaking off(OPI Gel). Tried this place because it is close to my house, I would drive 1000 miles before returning here.
