Absolutely the worst customer service ever. I was in a few months ago and was completely disappointed with the services provided. I went on Google and left a very accurate and honest review regarding the nail tech and treatment of management at the time. Decided to give them another shot only becuase of price and convience. Had a wonderful experience with Joanne the owner and a different nail tech. Owner explained to me to come back and gave Me the name of the tech for future visits. I did return again about a month later, walked in for a pedicure and asked for the tech I had for my last visit. Monica the owners daughter then asked me if she could speak to me outside after confirming my name. I walked outside and then was very rudely confronted and asked to remove my Google review, to which I replied that it was an honest review of my experience and how I felt her confronting me and basically demanding I take it down was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional, she continued screaming at me... even as I walked to my car across the parking lot. Asking me why I continued to return if I had such a bad experience. Now theres at least 20 employees there and turn over is ridiculous. So my ONE Google review of 1 employee and the manager who I described as unprofessional and literally running customers out the door, was in fact accurate. The same manager who I spoke about, is the exact girl who threw a toddler tantrum and proceeded to scream outside of her place of business for at least 5 mins while I walked to my car and pulled away. Very unhinged. I will continue to share my experience. As someone whose beeen working in the beauty industry for over 15 years... I can not fathom treating a client this way. ESPECIALLY ONE WHO DECIDED TO GIVE ANOTHER CHANCE AFTER A BAD EXPERIENCE. ONLY TO BE GIVEN AN EVEN MORE HORRIFIC AND DISTURBING ENCOUNTER. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I WAS going in once a month to get my feet done with no problems, my last service, my nail tech and I got to talking, and she convinced me to give them a chance to do my hands, I came in after work one night, and I'll be honest I did not check their hours, but was checked in with an of corse no problem! and never told anything, there will also several other customers In The store. After I sat down and put my feet in the water, I told my nail tech I wanted a paraffin wax, she looked upset.. I said is that okay? and said well we're closing soon.. to which I apologized, informed her I was not aware, told her we could do a basic service tonight and I would just come back tomorrow. She said no we'll do you tonight.. and then they proceeded to bring a tall table over to the foot bath, and start my hands as well.. cool.. your closing I understand. She then several more times, commented how they were closing.. while I several times commented, that I was trying to relax during my service that I would come back tomorrow. I was not given any lotion. My cuticles were not cut, and the rest I feel speaks for itself. I'm not going post pictures of my feet. But the color there was also uneven and blotchy, and it did not look good, and two of my toes were bleeding. read more

During pedi something came up that I was no longer able to get the mani. The tech finished and walked me over to the drying area when the owner said something about the mani. The tech responded just the same time as I did. Soooo I usually go to this nail shop to get a pedicure, and they usually will greet me and ask what services do I need. Ok, cool. So this time I decided to go get my usual pedicure and the older lady who is normally there to greet her guest wasn't there at the time. I walk in, the ladies who work in there looked me dead in my face and didn't open their mouth to me AT ALL! Not one, "Hi, how are you?" Or "Someone will be able to assist you a few" , ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I was VERY offended because this is not my first time getting services from them, but after that encounter I will never ever spend my money to support a business who clearly pick and choose who they will acknowledge. To be honest it's not like they do the "best" work anyways but they're pretty affordable with their prices, that's mainly why I would go there. The older lady that's normally there is cool, but those other WITCHES that work there really need to get some professionalism or they're gonna run all of her customer away. I was charged $85 for short almond French acrylic nails, overpriced. I originally asked for dip powder nails and the next salon (Signature nails) said they we're definitely not dip powder. If I could give no stars I most certainly would. I came here on my birthday November 29 and got a pedicure and a no chip manicure. By November 30, BOTH my pointer fingers no chip had chipped off and by December 10 ALL of my no chip was GONE. I though no chip lasted at least 14 days, guess I was wrong. I will NOT be back, shame on you Polished Lounge for such inferior work/products. I was referred here by one of my friends who had previously came here for a no chip mani/pedi $35 special. Seemed a bit sketchy walking in but still decided to give it a try yesterday with one of my friends. It wasn't much of a wait, we picked our color and then sat down to get our gel sets that we currently already had to be filed down before we had our manicure ($5 extra for this service.) We were sat for our pedicure while our nails soaked in acetone. My nail lady was nice but made me change my color because she didn't like the color I had picked. Picked a new color. During my pedicure she asked if I wanted a hot stone massage or any other service added to my pedi for $6+ extra. I replied with no and she seemed pretty upset about it. Pedi was done. On to nails, she was filing down my nails with a drill when she was too busy talking and scraped my actual skin on the side of my finger. I didn't bleed but it sting a bit. She apologized and I didn't make much of a big deal since I guess mistakes happen and she was a nice lady. The owner or manager I believe was an actual sweet heart and was really nice and helpful. I would give this place another try if I had a different nail lady. Other than the fact she was upset i didn't want an added service or the fact that she wasn't paying attention and was looking around while drilling my nails.. I still tipped 15%. This place is absolutely terrible. The technicians are rude, the place is filthy, and my nails turned out horrible. When I asked my technician to fix a spot that she smeared while grabbing my hand she rolled her eyes and started speaking another language to the technician next to us and they both gave me dirty looks. Finally, After several rude instances I asked to speak with the manager and she forcefully grabs my hand and says "you don't need to talk to my boss I fix it". I've been here a number of times and am mainly rating low because of the inconsistencies. Sometimes the customer service is ok and sometimes it's not as friendly. Some of the nail techs are experienced and some are not. Facility is not very clean and I have yet to see them bring out freshly sterilized tools. There are lots of gel color varieties! My no chip gel manicure has only lasted 3-5 days at best before it's either lifting or chipping. Gel polish was always applied too thick. My most recent visit, I took advantage of the $15 pedicure. The saying goes, "you get what you pay for." This particular time led me to the conclusion to not return. The pedicure was awful. The tech barely trimmed my cuticles and exfoliated my feet. The polish was lumpy, thick, and some toenails weren't even fully painted. The tech also got polish on my sandals and I had to point it out to her. She then wiped it with acetone and it removed some of the material from my shoe. Also be sure to bring cash or you will get charged an additional $2 for use of your debit/credit card. Other places have slightly higher costs but it's well worth it to try your luck elsewhere. read more

I think u should go over the cuticles at least twice... N w/o the blade on my feet the pumice stone should be used more and I shouldve soaked with some sort of foot scrub on my feet .. I just did the bottom once I got home.. Ill most def go back but wish they listen when I say no blade meaning scrubbing is required with foot soak n to buff my nails n shape them .. I've been coming here for 2 years +. You have to discover who's a good nail tech and who's bad. I recommend Kelly or Nancy! They're the best and they will make your money worth it. This is a cheaper nail salon that I go to but I promise you they will not disappoint. I only have a few problems with this nail salon and that's why I'm giving it four stars. 1) They will charge you $2 additional if you're using credit card/debit. The owner doesn't usually charge me but if her daughter or son is working they will. 2) One of the massage chairs are broken--and have been broken for months. Looks like they're not going to fix it anytime soon. 3) This place needs some deep cleaning! Not only that but a new paint job, new chairs new everything. I think that'll bring in more business. It looks really old and run down. 4) Sometimes I wonder how sanitary this place really is, generally the whole store looks dirty. read more

This Polished Lounge has new owners. It is not fancy inside at the moment, but the quality is great, and the prices are even better! You can get a pedicure for $15. Sophia did my nails, and they turned out perfect. Super Square and thin, just like I like them. It looks like they are doing some renovations, so the decor needs some work but the manager Joanne is super friendly and they have an unlimited amount of gel colors! I'll be going back. The staff is VERY unprofessional. I came in to fix a broke nail and to get a fill in. I had came in here a few weeks prior and got them done by one of their other nail techs. That time I did not receive what I asked for but didn't push it because I needed them done for an event. This time I came in and the experience was the same. The nail technician who worked on my nails was passive aggressive when I asked for a specific shape and color. She told me it couldn't be done because my nails were to thick? I was dumbfounded and didn't say much about it. Then the color I chose didn't "work" because it was too light on the color that she didn't take off so I asked for black instead just to get out of there. They were so rude about the color change. She then proceeded to walk away at times and answer her phone while working on my nails and didn't say anything. They are EXTREMELY unsanitary and use the same stuff from prior clients. At the end, it blew my mind that with how they treated me they would even think to ask if I wanted a pedicure... NO THANK YOU. read more
