I decided to give this place a try after being disappointed with my last mani/pedi at a different location. The place is new, very clean, and the girls working on me did a very thorough job on my nails. I also felt like they took pride in their work. Each girl took her time with each step and made sure everything was looking great. I didn't feel rushed like I usually do at other places. I only have this place a try cause I loved my mom nails. I get pedicure regularly, but I thought get one here as well. The lady was rude and very push on making me get a full set, which I only came in for a mani pedi I was trying to choose a color for my toes and she kept asking quickly over and over what color. Then I got bumped for my mani, and she told I don't do full sets ( remind you I asked for a mani ). Then she got pushy for me to wait for a full set, I saw another customers nails and said ok, cause I just didn't want to deal with her since she was so rude Then I asked about how long since I already been there for while sitting in a chair. I was driving by and decided to stop by polished nails. I like to stay well groomed so I thought why not get my hands and feet cleaned up. The owner suggested a mani pedi combo. 30 minutes later I was done. Massage chairs are great, and they provided excellent service at a fair price. . I'm literally sitting in the pedicure chair writing this review while my nails dry. The WORST customer service!!!! Why be a nail tech if you take no pride in what you do?!! Do not come here if you want regular polish- meaning no acrylic, gel, or dip. From the moment I told them I wanted regular, my pedi tech kept persuading me to get gel on my nails and toenails and that it's better. She seemed very upset at the fact that I didn't want to "spend" more money for gel. Nothing to do with money. I explained that my nails are still recovering from years of gel damage and I had a scare with the LED/UV lights so no more gel for me. Still treated me as if I was a nuisance and had the WORST pedicure and manicure of my life! My little cousin would have probably taken more attention to detail doing my nails. Hell even myself. Not only was she rude but she was so rough with the pedicure. She cut me multiple times and kept hurting me with the tools. When I said something she made a smart remark back. She made me feel so uncomfortable. The massage was a joke! She then finishes the pedicure as fast as she could and as soon as she was finished started cleaning the sink where my feet were with a dirty toilet brush. Hello, Update for this business if you should care to go. I went almost about two weeks ago for the first time, so impressed with their instruments sterilized right in front you, love that! However my pinky nail fell off after a week, the others started to lift pretty bad so I went in today to get them fixed, the lady was not cordial at all she said if you have or had a problem you should of returned in 3 days to get them fixed for free, I told her that I was not informed of that. Today they charged me to fix the nails that were not properly placed. The lady by the name Jenny said it's because my cuticles are delicate and that the other lady who did it was probably scared of hurting me... yea, no, I don't think so. Experience is key and nails will last a long time sometimes 3 weeks without lifting of falling off. So she is wrong. Warning if you come here make sure you return back in 3 days if you have a problem with your nails to get them fixed for FREE! I will post in a couple of weeks with my nail fix update. Therefore at this time they earn really one star for poor attitude, attention and unprofessionalism but because they sterilize the instruments in plain view of customers I'll give them 2 stars read more

I said okay, I will be there in 10 minutes. Showed up and let Yvonne know I had called about the fill, all she said was 'okay' I picked out a color and waited to be called. 1 hour later I was still waiting!!!!! I saw this new salon open near my house and I've peeked my head in a few times before it had opened and it is gorgeous inside! I had a lot of high hopes for this place, but unfortunately when I had gone in I was quite disappointed. I called the day before about prices and a full set was going to be $17 but when I went to pay it was $25 just because I wanted coffin shape for my nails! I think an extra $8 for shaping your nails is completely unnecessary and they didn't tell me it was extra either. I also got a pedicure and was happy with that at least but when I got home I saw that the side of my toe was really red and puffy and I didn't think anything of it until pus was fully covering the side of my nail. I walked out with an overpriced full set manicure and an infection on my toe! I will not be returning and I would not recommend this place to anyone else either. read more

This was my first visit. I'm in town visiting family. After some reviews, I thought it was ok to check it out, I like to do my research to be safe. Well the reviews failed me. First off, service sucked. Because I was a first timer, everytime someone walked requesting for a favorite girl, I was moved to a different girl. I got bumped 4 times which resulted in TERRIBLE looking nails. I am not a picky person, but they are a disaster. At the end I requested to just change to regular polish because the shape of the nails was not what I asked, additionally none of the nail shapes matched. When I asked to just get regular polish (because I'm my head I was gonna go somewhere different right after) they made a big deal about it. The polish they used was dry and lumpy, and she still used it. My nails are SHAPED UNEVENLY, LUMPY, and oddly shaped . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME ! You will regret it and spend double the money as I am on my way to another place . The price for the type of nails and service they do, is not worth it, even if it is affordable . read more

Went to get the dip powered and a week after it was already coming off when is supposed to last longer at least 3-4 weeks. So I went to let them know they agreed to fix it. This lady started her work when two customers came in then left me sitting in the chair while they let the nail Polish remover soak in. I waited and waited and the next thing you know she started doing the other customer nails! I asked the main lady what was happening and she didn't seemed to care. Horrible experience. I have been her client for almost 5 years. She's great and does terrific work. Kim does a great pedicure as well. I will never go anywhere else. This place is amazing and very very clean. My first time trying this place I didnt like how streaky they would leave my nails. I decided to give them one last time and fell in love with the way joyce did my nails and was going back to see her. After she was no longer there I was nervous about going back but I did to get a pedicure and after that horrible experience I will never go back. I waited for 20 min when they decided to take me in. They sat me at a chair and I waited for another 5-10 min then someone came and got the water going. I tried to soak my feet but the water was FREEZING. I was asked to soak my feet, rudely, and I informed them that the water was freezing and was ignored. About 10 min later I was told by the same girl that I needed to soak my feet so they can start ans I told her again that the water is freezing and again she ignored me. I looked around to try to get someone's attention. At this point I've already been there for an hour total. I gave up. I put my shoes on and left and no one even bothered to stop me or ask me what was wrong. NEVER GOING BACK. Rude and terrible service. read more

More recently though I had the worst experience ever with YVONNE THE OWNER. I went in for my APPOINTMENT but turns out they overbooked themselves and made me wait forever so I ended up leaving and went the next morning to get my nails done. I arrived at 9AM which is the time they open and they didn't arrive until 9:18 and didn't start my nails until 9:30 when I told them I have to be at work at 10. I could tell they started talking about me in their about language because I was getting upset at them for being so disrespectful with my time. When I went back for my fill in about two weeks YVONNE start talking very loudly talking bad about me saying I'm never happy and that nobody in the salon wants to see me and made a huge scene in front of all her other customers and refused service to me. I was told they charge $10 for every fill as well on top of the full price. I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years and this is the first place I been to that charger for such services! I was extremely excited to see a new nail salon in Pico Rivera next to the new Uno and La Monarca. I was told it would be $17 for acrylics but was charged $25! The nails are nothing special, the nail tech even made all of the nails different shapes-some look like wanna be coffin shape and some look like square slightly rounded (which I requested and showed her past nail photos). She insisted on not cutting my nails to the short length that I wanted. There's no point of making an appointment with Yvonne as she will take anyone before you regardless if you had an appointment or not. She needs to clean up her act! Horrible horrible horrible!! I came here and was excited to try out a new place. Some positive and some negative reviews but overall everything seemed decent. I was extremely wrong. I got a full set and a pedicure. The full set took about an hour to finish and none of my nails matched each other. They were all different lengths and sizes. I usually will stick with it even though it's not to my liking but these were horrendous!! I had to have her take them off. I still continued on with my toes (which they said were going to be 18 flat) and that took just as long as my nails. I didn't say a peep I waited. I went to pay they told me my toes would be 28 dollars. When I asked why and told them they quoted me 18 for them they said they were charging me for a nail removal as well. At that point I didn't even try and fight it. I paid and walked out. I will never return here again. And I suggest you don't either. read more
