The smoke billowing out and filling the air with that wonderful fresh roasted smell you only get at Polo Regio's. Had Charro Beans, it's worth going just for the beans. Me and my family have been coming here since we moved to Texas 6 months ago. We eat here every Sunday after church. Their food is usually great but the visit today left a taste of dissatisfaction in my mouth. Me and my husband had the steak tacos. The steak was dry and tough. It tasted like we had been served semi-warm leftover meat from the day before. The sautéed onions that accompany the tacos were cold, so were the tortillas. I work in Euless and El Pollo Regio is my go-to lunch choice on Fridays. I love driving up or near (any of these restaurants) and taking in the delicious smell of their grilled chicken. Mhm mmm mmmm. I always order the half chicken meal. This really includes a half grilled chicken, tortillas, soup and Mexican rice. I've had this meal at the school I work at and literally all of the office staff asked where I went (and of course complimented the smell of the chicken). The following Friday, we all had the same half chicken meal and the ladies loved it! My favorite thing about El Pollo Regio has got to be the green avocado hot sauce. I could eat that with anything! Mesquite smoked, flavorful chicken, rice, charro beans, corn tortillas and a bunch of fresh lime. With all of the salsas on the side. That truly is all you need to know about this place. So much goodness involved! The 2 piece lunch special is so much food even for 1 person. You don't need any extras like sour cream honestly because the food is so flavorful on its own. They are whipping it up fresh and fast. Definitely take it to go. Also don't let the store front fool ya. I knew nothing about this chain type restaurant before but now I am a fan. I love Pollo Regio. I've been coming to this location for years and the food is almost always on point. I usually get 2 chicken and 2 steak tacos on corn tortillas with extra green sauce and a side of fries. The green sauce to me is what makes it, it's creamy and very spicy and it taste amazing with the fries. I love the tacos so much I haven't really ventured out and gotten many other things but I've been told the burritos are good as well as their potato loaded with meats. I've had the churros as well and they were very good but I don't think I've ever had a churro I didn't like. I would definetly recommend Pollo Regio read more

Really good street tacos! The Al Pastor was my favorite. The Carne Asada was good as well but a bit overcooked as the meat was chewy. They do give a great amount of meat in each taco. I love the green sauce from here. They also have chips for you to munch on while you wait for your food. They have a salsa bar too which contains many sauces, limes, and red onions. This was one of my favorite places just went by today and picked up the carne Asada and Barbacoa tacos. Something has changed the tacos have always been a little greasy but I have never had pools of oil in the bottom of the container like today. I am writing on Jan 24, 2019 to complaint that this place gave me food poison and to warn other customers not to eat here until their inspection codes are much better or they try a little harder. My wife and I purchase dinner here last night around 6:00 pm when we got home the chicken was dry and salty. The tortillas broke apart and where not even fully cook.
