One of the worst experiences from PT restaurant my family and I have had. The rice had the texture of mashed potatoes and so much extra salt! It was the type of rice used to make sushi rolls, but I wasn't ordering sushi. The chicken was also heavy on the salt, there must have been a sale on salt across the parking lot at Fresco y más sal!! Worst than the extra salt is half the chicken, the thighs were undercooked, nothing worse than biting into a piece of chicken with the texture of squid, nasty!! The dinner rolls were hard as week old bread, no soft appetizing feel to them, just plain stiff, hard crunchy bread. I sincerely hope they start improving the quality of the service, not necessarily the food, because I imagine that any self respecting restaurant cook, and server would look at what they were throwing on the take out trays and simply dumped it in the trash and start cooking a better quality rice, chicken and bread. You know it's not like mother's black beans , but edible. The only thing the rice was a bit dried .It could have used a bit more black beans .But edible I asked for tomatoes and onions as you can see I got plenty ..It was a good amount of food . So two years ago I wrote a review and I decided to give this location a second chance. Well I won't be coming back. Maybe in 4 years I will give them a third chance. If a district manager is reading or if the department of health is reading, all the better. I came to this location and notice an extra long line (10 vehicles). So I decided to go inside. There were two persons waiting for their orders. I ask the cashier if they had the advertised Cuban hotdogs. She stated yes. I ordered 4 hotdogs for my family and I. I asked if they had dessert and she stated yes. I ordered 2 cuatro leches. I paid for my meal and I had arrived at 4:09 pm. I quickly saw what the delay was. The employees were completely confused. I saw employees arguing, wearing their mask under their chins, texting on their phones, making sandwiches on the counter without putting paper as barrier and an assistant manager on her personal cell phone not helping out. After waiting and watching for ten minutes the single employee in charge of the counter food who walked slower than the way molasses flows finally started my order. That's when I heard, We have no more hot dogs. The cashier then started arguing with the employees who prepare the food. Then stated to me that they were preparing fresh hot dogs. Finally after waiting another ten minutes I received my 4 hotdogs, but wait, there were no cuarto leches left. So they had to go to back of the store to get a box of frozen cuarto leches. That employee then started to look at phone again and when the cashier yelled at her she opened the box. TWENTY FIVE minutes later I left the business. When I looked back I noticed the vehicle that was in front of me in the drive through line still waiting for his order with another vehicle in front of him. By the way the hot dogs were prepared incorrectly and did not taste that satisfyingly. But my pet Rottweiler did enjoy it. I was waiting for my food when 3 other guest pointed out there was a live cockroach inside the serving line station. The employee (short woman) removed it with the spoon they use to scoop food and took it to the back. Then, came back and continued to serve/use the items from that station. I informed the shift manager that I would not be accepting my food and he gave me a refund. I had to tell him multiple times that it is unsanitary, wrong and disgusting that he is still allowing his staff to serve from that line without cleaning it.
