Horrible experience. The older with glasses lady who takes each order is extremely rude. She literally laughed and mocked me when I was ordering my food due to me stuttering. Good place. The food here is very consistent in a good way. The place and tables are always clean. Nice staff. Temperature has improved. I actually just thought of this as I'm writing, but the AC wasn't always so great there. It's very comfortable now. If I had to say anything negative it would be that since my first time going there I always see people struggling to open the door. I guess it's a negative and a positive. In the event of a tropical storm the door is not blowing open, but especially with the older people in mind I'm surprised the door wasn't adjusted in all this time. The chicken just wasn't the the same, it wasn't bad but just different and definitely greasy. An Aplis for the steak and pollo saltado! The staff was ok not too friendly but not completely rude. ​How delicious we ate in here! We arrived at this restaurant by coincidence and entered as I had it on my bookmarks. My daughter and I were very hungry. So we ordered two combos. These bring, a piece of chicken, leg or breast, as you want. White rice and black beans. In less than 6 minutes, our food was ready. Delicious, hot and served by a lady, with a beautiful smile on her face. I picked up the tray of food and went to our table, where my daughter and I enjoyed this well-prepared meal. Cooked on point, the rice was spectacular and the beans were great too. But the best of the best was the seasoning of the chicken. This place offers free wifi and has several tables inside to eat here or you can order to take home. Thank you very much and we'll see again soon. Went to the west Kendall location like always!! I'm not sure if is the person cooking or what but the food was very disappointing this time! I got the lomo soltado and was very disappointed in the quality and taste!! I have had it before and it was way better! This meat was very fatty and tough! For the money I spent on it I would have expected better quality! It's a go to place when you want to eat and not cook especially last minute! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that La Granja has such a diverse menu of different meals. Our friends convinced us that we would not be disappointed and they were right. We ordered via phone for pickup and as you walk in you notice their large variety menu screen. I couldn't believe their prices. A family of 4 can have plenty food for about $35 to $38 depending in your selection of course but nonetheless it's such delicious flavors in their food and portions that are not on the stingy side. I ordered their grilled white fish with rice, beans and plantains. Husband ordered a lomo Saltado that he shared with our friends and our kids had their infamous chicken. Think of this place as a much better version of Pollo Tropical. I'm not sure if different locations vary on quality and presentation as we have a Granja in North Miami that's nothing like this location. I will surely be returning to this one though. You cannot go wrong for good, clean and superior flavored food for the price. read more

My wife & I were hesitant to try this new location, since we normally visit the location on Miller & 137 & it's always delicious. Especially since we ate at their "new" location on Bird Road & about 92 Ave. a few years ago & it wasn't the same; poor quality food, etc. Needless to say they closed pretty quickly. This location is closer to us than the others & we're glad they opened! They're just as good as the location on Miller! Family whole chicken meal is delicious & reasonably priced under $20. I recommend getting it with two sides of white rice & one of beans, because the normal portion of rice isn't enough for a family of 4. Highly recommended!!! read more

The people are nice but the food is really bad. I've been an ongoing customer for a minute, especially since they have a location close to Miami dade college which always serves great food. This west Kendall location is a disappointment. Brought my mom for her first time and she was in nicer terms, "unimpressed" with a simple 1/4 chicken and rice. Also the sauces on the table were like 95% vinegar and 5% of whatever the sauce was supposed to be made up of. So won't be coming back to this location and definitely not recommending this place to anyone. read more

Wow! I have to say I'm impressed of how different and clean this place looks. We ordered a whole chicken with rice and beans for the family to go and it was soo juicy and tender. The black beans are really really good. The customer service is also much better. We used to visit this place a lot but stopped for a while because our last experience was not good at all. I'm not sure if there is a new management but the improvement was positive. We will keep going back for more! read more

Will never come back to this granja again l. It makes no sense to me as how every la granja location except this one knows what they are doing. I eat at the Miller location at least 3 times a week and get the same thing full chicken 2 sides (rice+beans is one French fries the other) this location made me pay separate for the fries when its clearly an option. So now if I want to eat here I have to pay 4 $ more than every other location. I know it's only 4$ but it's the principle plus I work to hrs for me to give my money away because u don't know how to do you job read more

Awful experience at the restaurant. Almost choke with broken mussels inside a soup that we ordered. We complained to the manager and she didn't offered any options. No empathy about the situation. I'm still a bit confused with this place im not sure if its Peruvian or cuban, although in the menu they have "Peruvian dishes" they sell the rotisserie chicken with rice and beans??? we "Peruvians" do not eat rotisserie chicken with rice and beans we eat it with salad and fries. Also they have the sauces at the station and have a yellow sauce it looks like huancaina sauce but it tastes nothing like it! Its more like yellow mayo. I ordered "papa a la huancaina" I got 4 thin slices of potato and lots of sauce in a huge plate it looked so sad! for the price they charge why go cheap on the potatoes?? Didn't like that!
