My forever favorite spot for Peruvian food! This place isn't just delicious, it's nostalgic. I've been coming here since I was little, thanks to my mom, and now I've brought so many loved ones here who end up loving it just as much. It's one of those underrated, hole-in-the-wall gems that I love telling people about. Lomo saltado is the only dish I ever order, and this place set the standard for me growing up. I've tried plenty of other spots, even some really good ones, but nothing hits quite the same. The flavor, the portion, the price -- everything is just so good and incredibly reasonable for the quality. The inside is snug, cozy, and homey. They've got a few dine-in tables as well as shelves stocked with Peruvian snacks, drinks, and pantry products. I love browsing while I wait! Service has always been friendly, welcoming, and fast -- the kind that makes you really appreciate supporting small/local businesses. If you haven't been yet, go show this neighborhood gem some love!

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is a gem. Brought a friend to lunch , where she requested and I can see why. The chicken is the star, wood fire with a citrus marinade. The crispy skin compliments the tender, juicy meat. Tried the potato starter and it's something to explore, cheesy sauce with a distinguished taste. Fried plantains go well with any rice, another side dish ordered. This place is worth the drive for pickup, even if you just get the chicken by itself. There's minimal dining space so take out is the better option. Nice friendly staff ready to share the cuisine.

I think this place offers a great value and good variety on their menu, but it's not the best Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken restaurant LA has to offer. IMO, thier rotisserie chicken was just ok- it needs longer marinade time and more smoky flavor to come through. The "Aji Verde" (Peruvian green sauce) which goes hand in hand with everything on their menu was surprisingly BLAND. It was absent of that garlicky, tart, spicy taste! Too bad - done well, Aji verde is addicting. Overall, prices are good here, but I will stick to my usual spots for Peruvian roast chicken.

Flavor! This is what we come for. The flavor in the food comes straight from the heart forsure. Two of our favorite dishes are the number 17- Lomo Saltado and the number 2-Ceviche de Pescado. The service is fast, and the workers are very kind. We always make sure to leave with some goodies from the market they have also.

I love me some good Peruvian food. This was the first Peruvian meal I've had since I've been back from Peru and it didn't disappoint. I ordered pollos a la brasa and lomo saltado. The food took about 15 minutes to make. While waiting, I took a look at some of their items that they have. There's a lot of items that are imported from Peru that you won't easily find elsewhere. The place is nothing fancy, but more so a grab and go type of place. They had the TV on with soccer playing in the background too.

Our first time here and glad we did. We stuck with our usual items as seen in our pictures. My son really liked the Aguadito and he is picky eater. There is small dining area and has a good selection of peruvian groceries. They seem to do a lot of takeout. The parking lot is tiny. We'll be sure to come back.

NO BEEF IN BEEF LOMO SALTADO FOR A CATERED EVENT FROM THESE THIEVES!! flavor is also mediocre at best!! There are WAY BETTER PLACES!!

If you want to get jipped and ripped off for one of your special events by getting your food catered from here, then this is the place!! Theives! For mediocre ass food that turned out to not have as much flavor as most other peruvian spots have!! I ordered a large tray of BEEF lomo saltado and 2 trays of whole roasted chickens. I finally set up the food for my party and let the guests serve themselves when to my surprise everyone kept asking where the beef was? I look in the tray and all potatoes and peppers and onions!! Barely any beef if you dug around you might find some. I called the restaurant then and there and the bullshit response I got was "oh its bcuz the meat is so expensive now, so we do apologize" like wtf!? That is not my problem and something that should have been mentioned BEFORE i paid $90 for a tray of potatoes and peppers!! The SHADIEST part of it all was I was going to pay w my card and the lady at the front Valentina said if I paid cash i get a discount with no taxes, so i said cool in total paid $200 in CASH. So how convenient that I pay in CASH, They rip me off and now I can't dispute or ask for a refund back!! I call and they said the owner offered to give me A COMBO FOR FREE ON MY NEXT VISIT, HA!!! Laughable...my event was ruined, my money stolen and my guests left hungry...what a JOKE!!!!! I have provided pictures to show as proof!! And again the flavors were mediocre at best!!! So save ur money!!

Here is our order: Chicha No Nada with Pisco: A very refreshing drink! Adding pisco was a right choice, making it a perfect cocktail to start off the vacation. Bass Ceviche: A great Peruvian-inspired dish! Highly recommend adding the crispy quinoa crusts for additional $3. Wood-fired Skirt Steak: This dish is very similar to Lomo Saltado, which is our favorite Peruvian dish. Steak was cooked to perfection. Yuca Fries: This dish was very interesting, featuring chorizo, yuzu-cilantro, pickled ajis, and cotija. It was delicious and perfect as a side dish. While the food was excellent, the portions were quite small for dishes that are "meant to be shared" as descrived by our server. Albeit this, our dine-in experience was very positive and enjoyable overall.

I decided to visit after seeing it ranked so highly on Yelp, and it lived up to every expectation. I ordered the Lomo Saltado ($22.99), which features tender filet mignon strips sautéed with french fries, red onions, cilantro, tomato, soy sauce, red vinegar, and Peruvian garlic rice. The quality of the meat is outstanding--it literally melts in your mouth like butter. While the dish is perfectly seasoned on its own, Chef Felipe's house-made sauces are a must-try. The green aji sauce is vibrant and fresh, while the chili oil provides a wonderful kick. I highly recommend sitting at the counter if you can. It's mesmerizing to watch Chef Felipe work his magic on the wok, sending flames high into the air as he cooks. The service is truly unparalleled. I ordered the quarter chicken with rice and salad, and I was really impressed with the portion sizes. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and gave me the kind of authentic Latin food vibes that I love. The sauce was definitely the highlight for me--it was so good that I found myself adding it to every bite. The prices are also fantastic. For the quality and quantity of food you get, this place is truly a gem. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The restaurant itself is very small, with limited seating available. The customer service also wasn't the best during my visit. Since the dining area was completely full when we arrived, we decided to place our order to go. While we were waiting for our food, a table opened up, so we asked if we could sit down and eat there instead. We were told that because we had ordered our food to go, we were not allowed to sit in the restaurant. I found that a bit disappointing, especially since we had already paid for the same food as everyone else dining in. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely the reason I would come back. If I'm in the area and craving their chicken, I'd absolutely return--just with different expectations regarding the seating situation and service.

The items we ordered were so unique and definitely felt like a true fusion of Peruvian and Japanese culture. We ordered: SPICY CRAB HAND ROLL: Wow, love the crunch and aioli in this!! Very flavorful, and the subtle crunchy texture was incredible. HOKKAIDO SCALLOP: Not sure what fermented douche paste is, but this was also a banger. It was fresh, and had an almost milky flavor to it. The bomb. SHRIMP DUMPLING w TIGER MILK AIOLI & SESAME LEAF: This was probably the highlight of our evening. Our server Gaia highly recommended this. I'm not a huge dumpling person, but she convinced me that it was worth it. I cannot rave enough about this dish. The subtle milky and creamy sauce drizzled on top of the shrimp dumpling was incredible. Idk if I'd even call it a dumpling because the shape was very interesting. The sesame leaf gave it such a refreshing aftertaste. Highly recommend this one! JAPANESE CURRY RAVIOLI: Probably my second favorite! I've never had curry ravioli before but what an audacious idea! MISO COD: Loved the little puffed things on top of the miso cod!!! Pretty standard dish, but it was really good! SALMON SKEWERS: Came highly recommended by Gaia, so of course we ordered it. Flavorful as heck, and love the sauce that it came with! BLUEBERRY PIE: Ohhhh boy, this was the most decadent and delicious pie I've EVER eaten. It came with a bunch of whipped cream, and two scoops of ice cream. The pie was so thick, it tasted like how fairy tale storybooks describe a pie made with love by someone's grandma. The slice is HUGE too, so you're def getting your money's worth for $15. Yes the food here was great, but our experience was truly elevated by the staff, especially our server Gaia! Her laidback yet enthusiastic vibe made us feel super cared for. I can't wait to send all my friends here so they can experience Hummingbird for themselves!!!

Asked him if he wanted to go get a bite. I told him let's find somewhere that has Salmon. Since it was late afternoon, I didn't think there would be any chance to find something good. I yelped Seafood Near Me and Lonzo's Peruvian Restaurant popped up. We looked at the pictures and the food looked good. I was eyeing that Crispy Salmon. We drove three miles and got there around three pm. When we arrived there was plenty of parking on the street. As we walked up to the door, it didn't look like they were open. My son tugged at the door and it was locked. Just as we were walking away a young woman came to open the door. She said they were having a meeting, but they were open for service. We were seated in the front of the restaurant. They also had a huge dining room on the side. The young lady served us some fresh bread with this delicious green sauce. She took our drink order. I had a plain ice tea and my son had a Peruvian soda called "Inka Kola" My son kept raving about the bread and green sauce. It was good. We decided to try the Grilled Spanish Octopus as an appetizer, my son ordered the Arroz Chaufa/Fillet Mignon, and I got the Crispy Salmon. Before I go any further I just want to say that each dish's presentation was TOP NOTCH. (See Attached Photos) When I first saw the Grilled Octopus, I thought damn this looks so good I don't want to cut it. I told my son to take the first bite. The look on his face was priceless. He said, "Mom this SLAPS!" I cut off a piece and it was so tender, it melted in my mouth. We got our entrees and I must say again my plate was BEAUTIFUL! When they say CRISPY SALMON they meant it. Both the skin and the meat had a crispy texture. The Quinoa was very good. The side salad had little vegetables that were cut star shaped. The salad's ingredients (apples, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados) were so good I barely used the dressing. I just ate it. I must admit I was hungry, I cleaned my plate. I haven't eaten like this in a while. The portion sizes were just right. My son loved his fried rice, although he said it was a bit salty. He had a second, Inka Soda.
