I go here for their crispy chicken tacos whenever I want to skip cooking dinner. they are on the east side in a weird parking lot, it's a brick and mortar with a chicken rotisserie cart outside so follow the smoke. The family is very sweet and they have great recipes. We love the chicken tacos and their chicken rub, whatever the chickens are marinated with we are adddicted. Great to have something so close to home yet so far away.

This place is usually good but I'm not sure what's going on with their birria plate lately. The birria tacos have been soggy, not crispy enough and why did my consome look like they tried to stretch it with beef broth? The new cooks are cutting corners or something. What's up with that? I guess I have to find a new birria place and just stick with the chicken when I go there :(

Absolutely delicious! Everything! The chicken, the beans, the green salsa--absolutely loved it all. I will definitely go back. My only gripe is that they didn't tell me there would be an up charge for asking for 1 of the 3 pieces to be a breast. I feel like 1 of 3 is fair Loved it all!!

Whenever I drive by this place off Mountain Vista and Russell, the smell of freshly grilled chicken is almost intoxicating. This isn't your ordinary chicken shop. They have someone outside grilling the meat, and the chicken has great flavors of seasonings and char. Customer service was fair, but the tables were dirty and we had to ask the cashier to wipe the tables. She proceeded to come and spray the tables down with bleach water, and I had to move out of the way so as not to get sprayed by the mixture. There are not many decorations inside, and about 6 or 7 tables. Two 3-piece combos will set you back $24. The combos do not include a drink. Tasty chicken, beans were average and the rice was plenty flavorful, almost a chicken bouillon type seasoning. Will be back!

Quick, flavorful, family business. They grill over charcoal and have many combo plates available. Sides are typical but they have small red potatoes that are really good.

Pollos El Dorado is one of my favorite taquerias in Las Vegas. Their grilled mesquite charcoal chicken is divine, and it's my go to option whenever I'm in Henderson for the holidays and missing the authentic Southern barbecue that I grew up on in the 'Sip. Their crunchy chicken tacos are also packed with flavor and are another solid menu item. The service here is exceptional. I'm actually treated like family by at least one staff member or customer whenever I come. The restaurant is casual and unassuming and sits right on the border of Henderson and East Las Vegas.

Stepping into this little taquería feels less like entering a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's home--a home where love is seasoned into every spice and memory lingers in the air like the faint smoke of roasted chiles. The aroma greets you first, warm and seductive, a mingling of charred corn tortillas, sizzling carne asada, and the citrusy brightness of freshly cut limes. It is the kind of scent that doesn't just stir hunger, but awakens nostalgia, longing, and a quiet joy. The tacos themselves arrive like small love letters, folded delicately in hand-pressed tortillas that are soft yet resilient, tender yet strong--the way love itself should be. Each bite is a harmony of textures: the crisp bite of onion, the velvet of slow-braised pork, the whisper of cilantro that lingers like a kiss at the end of a goodnight. The salsa, fiery and bold, is passion embodied--both thrilling and comforting, reminding you that love is not always gentle, but it is always alive.

After hearing about Pollos El Dorado from family, we were on a hunt for some home made feel food after grocery shopping. We were down the street and decided to stop by and see what they had to offer. I wasn't expecting to wait about 20 minutes for 2 whole chickens, 16 pieces total. We decided to have a taco each while we waited and relax since we hadn't ate, and boy were we surprised. Their tacos were so good, we could have ordered more but we chose not to since we came for the chicken! The staff was nice, quick and made sure they got our order right. The cook was outside being a baddy in the heat making our chicken, and the chicken came out in the time they promised! The price is worth it, the food is fresh, the green salsa is amazing. They also have a decent variety in their menu and it should be on your list to try. Come give it a shot for dine in, or pick up, you won't be disappointed! The restaurant wasn't too busy when we walked in, but it started to get busy while we were waiting and also when we walked out. The cashier and cook in the back communicated well, the establishment was clean and so was the bathroom. It is small, but it is mighty!

I always see the smoke coming from the parking lot and think "I have to try this spot some day". This is one of those places you can tell the food is cooked with love and heart. Yummy grilled chicken with excellent service. I can see why this place has so many regulars. You're treated like family when you walk in! Affordable and quick meal. A great option for when you don't want to cook. Most people ordered their food for takeout but we actually dined in.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Pollos El Dorado is an unassuming taqueria in a nondescript plaza on eastbound Russell Ave just before Mountain Vista. I've passed by it plenty of times without stopping, so when I was asked by my friend to take him from Henderson to the airport, I saw this location in my Yelp Bookmarks and knew that it was just off the route. I went with a bunch of tacos. Most of them were $3.00, but the quesabirria was $4.50. It was certainly worth it after I noticed how airy the outer tortilla was. They did make me ladle on the onion and cilantro myself, and it was essential in adding the ubiquitous flavors. I didn't get a consomé and I didn't ask, assuming that it'd be at an additional cost. Fortunately, it wasn't especially needed. I did order one each of all of the other tacos. The tortillas were cooked enough via grilling without having been soaked in oil, which made them less greasy on the fingers. The mild tomatillo salsa was balanced and made a great complement to every protein, and the lime was sufficient even though some wedges were a little dry. Out of the meats, the pollo was a surprising favorite due to the grill flavor and the large portion. The cabeza was also great, with fatty bits and rich beefiness. The al pastor was solid for a non-pineapple style, and the buche was pretty tender. The asada was surprisingly the blandest and most boring out of their proteins. I also appreciated the service. What I assume was a father-daughter duo up front handled everything well, including making sure whether we wanted cilantro and onions on everything, refilling the empty salsa station, and assuring us that we weren't overstaying their closing time since they were still cleaning up. Pollos El Dorado is now on my list of Henderson-ish go-to taquerias after this visit. I'll be back sooner than later.

Amazing service and food! I don't want to tell anyone about this place because then there's going to be long lines. A Vegas must taco shop! They treat you like family.

They have a Loteria drinking game, with each card matching a drink on the menu. Fun idea, but when explained seemed confusing. The drink was ok, too sweet for me and a little small for the price. Menu highlights for me was The dirty corn, salsa flight, and my (2) taco plate. The dirty corn was a standout with elote-style corn in a bowl, topped with chicharron, chorizo, and spicy mayo. It delivers that street corn flavor, but with a good mix of textures and spice. My tacos were delicious. I tried one grilled shrimp taco and one carnitas taco, served with rice and beans. The blue corn tortillas were a nice touch and pillowy soft! The carnitas were amazing, great flavor and super tender. I shrimp tacos were just as good and when topped with their habanero, verde, and roja salsa, that heat and flavor depth gets elevated! Overall, it's a dependable neighborhood spot with a fun atmosphere, creative touches, and good food that makes it worth a visit if you are in the area!

It was perfectly cooked and the chimichurri added the best brightness that the dish needed! There are so many spots in Vegas so I'm not sure I'd come back but I definitely enjoyed it.

Every food item on the Happy Hour menu is $12, which makes it a great way to try a variety of dishes without spending a fortune in Vegas. We ordered the shrimp tacos, CHICA nachos, Firecracker Wings, quesa-birria empanadas, potato flautas, shrimp ceviche, and ahi tuna bites. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there honestly wasn't a bad dish in the bunch. One thing to keep in mind is that these truly are small plates. Don't expect a lot of food with each $12 dish. They're perfect for ordering several different things and sharing, but if you're really hungry, you'll definitely want to order multiple plates. The Firecracker Wings had a really nice kick to them. We loved the spice, but if you have a lower spice tolerance, be careful with those! Also, a heads-up about the shrimp ceviche: CHICA's version is more tomato-based rather than the bright, lime-forward ceviche you might be expecting. It was still really good, but if you don't like tomato-based ceviche, that's definitely something to know before ordering. For drinks, we tried the CHICA-Rita, Palomita, and Tommy's Margarita. They were running a 2-for-1 drink special for $21 total, which was such a great deal, especially for Vegas. Between the absolutely delicious food, fun atmosphere, and Happy Hour pricing, we really enjoyed CHICA. It's a great spot if you like ordering a bunch of small plates for the table and getting to try a little bit of everything.
