The food here is so amazing. I'm always pleased every time I come back. The staff is so welcoming and ready to cater to all your request.

Best burritos that I have had in Vegas! And they're open from 9am-2am! The service was quick. Casual ambience and front patio seating outside.

100% would go back. Great taco spot to eat in. Clean interior. Wish there was one on the west side.

Everything hit the spot for me when I came to eat at Taqueria Gil. The restaurant was very clean, and everything was very organized. Salsa bar was organized and clean as well. Appreciate the self serve onions beans and jalapeños. I came on a Sunday at noon, and it wasn't overly busy. I ordered 6 tacos and a breakfast burrito. I tried the tripas, pastor, lengua, and chorizo. It was all delicious, with zero complaints. The service was pretty fast; I didn't feel they took long at all. The breakfast burrito was pretty big as well and had lots of meat, not just stuffed with potatoes. I did see they offer 2x1 al pastor tacos on Tuesday as well. Job well done, Taqueria el Gil !

I asked for no onions on the website and got a butt load of them on all my tacos :/ it was very disappointing

This place was really good! Definitely one of my favorite taco spots here in town. You have to try the vampiro tacos here!

Food is always a 10/10 here. Friendly staff and fast service. Their Red salsa is the best!

Just want to start it with the pros before the cons. Pros are it's within walking distance if you live in the area , it's a lot cheaper than other taquerias. It's clean inside and outside. They have a wide variety of menu items. And the cons they are forgetful so you have to double check everything fore you leave the flavors we're not great some of the items I got were lacking seasoning. Some of the items didn't taste fresh either the Sonora hotdog " was an item where the hot dog itself was dry, the pastor fries came with beans guacamole and pico de gallo and al pastor. The beans were from a can you could clearly tell.the pastor has a very odd and distinct smell and taste they were not good at all. I k ow this place was trending in yelp which is why I wanted to try it but I personally did not have a great experience and because of this I will not be taking my family back here again.

The tacos and burritos were both great. The meat was tender and flavorful and their salsas are the perfect spice levels.

Not what I expected. The beans on the salsa bar were not good. The food was ok. The burritos could be a little bigger considering the price.

I'm not a huge asada fan, so this might be my bias. The tacos weren't bad. But, I wasn't blown away. I think I was too hungry to be objective. I would probably rank them as "ok." Some things to consider: 1. The place has a cafeteria feel. I prefer a restaurant style, sit down, and have a waitress come to serve me. 2. No chips and salsa. 3. It was crowded when we went. It was probably about midnight on a Monday or Tuesday. I can only imagine how hectic it is on a weekend.

Try the Mexican corn appetizer with it's crumbly cotija cheese, chili, lime, and mayo on top of charred corn kernels. It's in 'esquites' form, which means it's not left on the cob like 'elote' is. Their specialty, nachos, are also well seasoned and the chips are freshly made on site. What drew me in to this restaurant was a past appearance on the Maury Povich Show, where I took a paternity test for someone who claimed she was my daughter. The end result? I was cleared, so Maury pointed at me while telling her that he's "Not yo' daddy." And so I visit Nacho Daddy on occasion, strictly for celebratory reasons. Birria nachos are excellent, made with a high quality shredded beef with pickled onion, cilantro, sour cream, cheese, and lime on top of a stack of chips. Having birria without consommé was new, but this one didn't really need it with all the flavors jumping out. Another recommendation is the cheeseburger nacho, an Americanized version with ground beef, bacon, cheddar, jack, queso, onions, tomato, and lettuce. The 'mini nachos' are perfectly sized for a light meal but if you're hungry, get the full size order which is huge and shareable. This location has been in business for 17 years now and there's plenty of seating in a nice, clean atmosphere.

Title: The Best Birria I've Had... Period!…read more (5/5 stars) If you're a birria lover, stop what you're doing and head to Birria Bite. This place may be a small tavern-style spot with just enough seating, but don't let the size fool you. The moment you walk in, the aroma of the birria comes rolling out of the kitchen like a raging bull--it lets you know you're in the right place! They offer both goat and beef birria, and the flavor is absolutely incredible. I've only been eating birria for about five years, but in that time I've made it a mission to try it everywhere I travel. I've had birria from Las Vegas, California, Nebraska, Florida, and Texas, and I can honestly say Birria Bite is hands down the best I've had. I always order the Quesabirria Combo, and it never disappoints. The consommé is rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--good enough to sip on by itself. And even though it's outside my normal diet, I can't leave without getting the Piña pineapple drink. It's sweet, refreshing, and absolutely fire. The hospitality is always A1, the staff makes you feel welcome every visit, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you receive. This is one of those hidden gems you'll keep coming back to. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. Don't meet me there... beat me there... or be square!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.
