    Breakfast special sub ham

Breakfast! Polly's Diner is kind of a hole in the wall, and I can't speak for any other food except for the breakfast. The place is always busy when we are there, the waitstaff are hustling and friendly. Quick and efficient and getting the food out quickly. Eggs and hashbrowns are great, taste like eggs and hashbrowns. No strange oil used to cook them that overpowers the taste. Biscuits and gravy are peppered gravy and not sausage, they are great. Busy place, efficient and friendly, quick service, decent pricing and great breakfast!

We came for a late breakfast and appreciated they serve breakfast all day until they close at 3. I ordered the Daily Special with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and hash browns. Scrambled eggs were served hot and steaming. The gravy was just ok; it needed more sausage in the gravy.Biscuits were so so. A cutely decorated diner with only mediocre food today.

Horseshoe - better like tasty Gravy!

Service has been fast and friendly. Portions large! Might just be the best breakfast spot in Fenton.

My corned beef skillet with eggs & hash browns along with the side of pancakes. Was starving & could barely finish it.

Went to Polly's Diner in Fenton on a weekday morning and I had a wonderful breakfast with a corned beef skillet that came loaded with delicious hash browns, 2 eggs on top and a side of 2 pancakes that was a meal and a half that filled me up for the whole day and costed a little under $20 including a coke with free refills and the tip. It was much better than chain places like Denny's and similar chain places I've ate at for breakfast around St. Louis, I'd give it a 4.5 stars if they allowed half stars. Although I don't think Polly's is quite good my favorite breakfast restaurants in South St. Louis, this place is closer to me. I enjoyed their Polly's signature hot sauce on my eggs that added a little heat but not too hot for me. I loved that they offer a dish called the horseshoe for breakfast as well as lunch that's originally a Springfield, Illinois' typical signature dish overloaded with hash browns, bacon or sausage and sausage gravy for breakfast and for lunch is usually overloaded with fries and whatever variation of toppings that comes with it so I'll order a horseshoe the next time I'm there , maybe for lunch. Service was quick and friendly with a smile and the restaurant has a nice diner ambiance.

I have been wanting to try Polly's Diner for months now and finally had the chance to do so! They have an extensive menu. Their daily specials are posted just inside the entrance. For my first visit, I chose the mostaccioli and garlic bread. To drink, I ordered coffee and water. The coffee was strong and freshly made. The mostaccioli was cooked to perfection, and the garlic bread was quite tasty. Portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I received excellent service and was acknowledged almost immediately after being seated. The diner's decor is a mix of oddities including parrots almost everywhere you look. Be aware this place is really busy. If the upper parking lot is full, they also have a lower lot for overflow. I'm looking forward to visiting Polly's Diner again for breakfast.

Polly's has not been open very long but on our day they were hitting on all cylinders Snappy environment, welcoming servers, great food, and a menu that hits all the right spots. Beware, portions are huge. Good luck Polly!

Met friends at Polly's for lunch, it was super busy, so we had to park in the overflow lot. We were seated right away though and were waited on immediately. Super friendly and fast service, the food came out pretty quickly, I ordered their Reuben w/fries....yummmm! So good! Everyone ordered a different dish and were equally pleased with their choice for lunch. Unfortunately, it was so good, I forgot to take a pic before I devoured it...so I will have to go back! Super cute little diner in old town Fenton, check it out!

Brand new diner in Fenton! Everyone was friendly and considering the crowd and the newness of the place, service was reasonably fast on a busy Sunday morning. My taco salad was delicious. Would like to know whether they make the taco in house. My companion and I couldn't get enough of it. That alone is worth a return trip. The decor is eclectic. I like the parrot look; lean into that. I like Polly's and will return!

Everything was ok- nothing outstanding. Can gravy and store bought biscuits. Coffee is barely drinkable.

Food was excellent. A little improvement needed on service. I'm sure it will improve as they go. Ambience was good. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Hatch'd By You which consisted of two eggs, meat, hash browns and and English muffin. I thought everything was great. The eggs were spot on and the hash browns were super crispy - exactly how I like them! Hatch'd is a true example of how a restaurant should be run. The owner, Josh, worked alongside his staff, and also stopped by at every table to introduce himself and check on their dining experience. Our waiter was also incredibly polite and suggested some great, personalized customization to our dishes. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere.

Amazing restaurant, with amazing staff…read more I went here with my kids for an early fathers day breakfast. We made a reservation to this place. It said we were ninth in line. We thought we had to wait for a long time, but it actually went quick (like 5 minutes) when we got there. We did not realize this place had an upstairs, until our waiter guided us. This place looks very large on the inside compared to what it looks like on the outside. The restaurant also had an rustic atmosphere. With exposed pipes, rusted decor, and 80's memorabilia on the shelf. We ordered coffee here, and one of them came in a Christmas cup. Even though it was six months away. My wife chuckled on how they served her coffee in a Christmas cup. Mine came in a plain white cup. But I still excessively chuckled on how funny the menu is and the staff are. The staff are very attentive to how your food tastes and make plenty of funny jokes with you. They also are very descriptive on what the specials on pancakes and omelettes are. As well as being very honest. I ordered the Benny's Got Beef Or Belly with Brisket. I know, long name. I watched the weather while my food was being prepared, and occasionally looking at the PBS TV nearby. My wife was drawing with my 11 year old daughter (and writing "secret messages") as their food was being prepped and prepared. When my food finally came out, I immediately took a bite. The brisket was very juicy and tender. And the eggs were delicious on the side. I tried this place several years ago. Was still the same good taste that I remember when I took my wife to this place. Very amazing place. Will come again.

This was our second time visiting in the past several months. I can't recall off hand what I had…read morethe first time but it was better than what I had today. I wasn't in the modd for breakfast food today so I got the catfish special. The catfish wasn't quite cornmeal breaded like I was hoping for and was under seasoned. The hush puppies were very good and perfectly cooked. I initially asked for something other than fries but I tasted one and was glad I hadn't ordered them because they were stale and tasteless. I exchanged them for the home style potatoes which were like warm and had definitely been sitting for some time. My partner got some and said his was hot and fresh. The coleslaw was interesting and finely chopped. It wasn't vinegar based but also wasn't the sweet/creamy type like KFC or Long John. It was just kind of there. The grits were again bland. The Biscuit was hot and fresh but they didn't have butter on the table for it. I should've asked but didn't so that's on me. Our server was kind but the expediter lady didn't seem as friendly. I would say if you haven't been give them a try for yourself.
