Out on a double date and this was the next best thing to Marie Callendars. We only ordered pies: pumpkin, blackberry, blueberry crumble, and cherry pie. Service took awhile. There was one lady for the whole floor. She was nice and running around, but she definitely needed help. The other seating host helped a little with taking orders. Flavorwise, our group enjoyed our desserts. I had the blueberry pie. I would suggest ordering it with ice cream and one order was enough to share for 2 people. There's plenty of parking. The decor inside is a little old timey, as was most of the patrons on our particular visit. I wouldn't be opposed to going back and exploring the menu some more. read more

First time here. So far not very happy. Seems unorganized. No one in the front to take our name. The front is starting to get crowded. I wanted to buy a box of cookies but no sampler. Polly's Pies is half way between our apt and my in laws house. My wife and I always see the Polly's Pie sign either going up or coming down. So, 4 weeks ago we finally stopped to check it out and for our initial visit my wife's meal was a hit and mine was a miss. My wife and I both Love the Sourdough Patty Melt Burger (our Fav!). We also Love the cinnamon roll! Aside from the food, service is awesome! Thanks Jenna and Manda for making our dining experience great! Oh yes, try their pies! Had a chance between games to get a good breakfast. I went to Pollys because I remember it being pretty good growing up. Came in on a sunday morning and I only had to wait a few minutes. The service was friendly and got me to my seat. The servers seemed very busy but worked well as a team, but had a few break downs where I needed water refill and no one was able to help me. Let me also say it was about 108F outside and it should have been obvious people were going to need to be hydrating. Hint Hint, when someone downs the water you bring to the table while your ordering he may need more soon. OK SO THE FOOD. Pretty solid. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs. The eggs were made perfect to order. I got the hash browns well done and they were very good. the order came with biscuits and gravy, they gravy was actually bland and biscuits were just ok . I honestly think this is why I only can give 4 stars. The Chicken fried steak was a little greasy for my liking, but was ok. Overall I know this place has other things on the menu that are very good, including pies, so I do highly recommend, but for this time and visit I had to give 4 stars. read more

I wasn't sure what to make of this place but to compare it to a Corky's kitchen. I love breakfast places and this would be a great depiction of it. Cool things about to place: a nice waiting area with free sample of Polly's coffee. Their coffee is tasty! It was the Hawaiian macadamia but coffee. Yum! It did not disappoint. I ended up getting the tri tip scramble with a side of biscuits and gravy. That definitely was a delicious meal. Try it. The portion size is just right. Upon finishing the meal, there was a sign to tell them if it was your first time. The hostess asked if I liked pancakes and recommended it. Polly's is ok for a normal meal. Most of the servers are over 50 and don't move the fastest but are always very friendly. The food is good not great and not bad. I like breakfast most at Polly's. The blueberry pancakes are really good. Also the Polly burger and Kona chips are good. The lunch and dinner prices are a little higher then you would find at Denny;s but so is the class of people. (sorry Denny fans). The Original Pancake House is about to open across the street so maybe wait times on Sunday mornings will improve. I would pick the Cow Girl for dinner on Thurs - Sun but it is a pain to stop and get cash so it is easier to just go to Polly's. Enjoy! read more

They have Belgian Waffles here! Was heading out with a group of friends and decided to grab brunch here first. By the time I got there, I was starving. Luckily, after ordering, the food came rather quickly and I was able to eat! I was surprised that my food wasn't hot nor warmer than warm. I imagine food that came immediately from the kitchen would been at least sitting under a heat lamp for a wamer temperature. But since I was too hungry, I just ate it. The Belgian waffle tasted good. It was coated with powder sugar (which i could have done without) and a ball of butter with syrup on the side. This is our once a year visit to this location. On a positive note, our server was EXCELLENT! The wait was very short. Service was timely. The bread on the chicken salad sandwich was dried out. I basically fell apart in my hand. The crust was a little "firm" but still edible. The chicken salad was very tasty but next time I'll order it without the bread. Our party also ordered a Turkey Cobb salad. I was very sparse considering the price. Truthfully, I've seen dinner salads with more ingredients and more of the ingredients. A nice array of avacado, some lettuce, I didn't see any tomatoes. I don't recall seeing the turkey? The salad eater was finished before I finished my sandwich although I was chasing the chicken salad with a fork. Polly's in a corporate function. It might be interesting to order the same items at another location. That may happen, but not soon!! OH! With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, unless you want to be disappointed, DO NOT order the Reuben at Polly's! Two slices of a thick cut meat, likely roast beef, it had swiss cheese but the sauerkraut was nearly none existent. The corporate self has no clue as to how a Rueben is constructed, even though it's a pretty basic sandwich. This is my first time being here, it was just my wife and I, will never forget it because it was the night that Ronda Rousy lost her first fight to Holly Holm. Laura was our waitress, I felt a little bad because she thought the fight was on Sunday, I told her it was tonight, I'm so sorry Laura. Anyway my wife ordered the Rotisserie chicken, I wasn't sure what I wanted so Laura recommended the Salisbury Steak, when our food came it looked so good, and tasted even better. My wife really enjoyed her Rotisserie Chicken, and my Salisbury Steak was excellent, Laura came by to see how we liked the food, I told her it was delisous. I just have to say Laura was a very friendly, helpful person. I've been passing this place for a while and finally decided to stop in and have an early dinner along with my daughter, 5:00pm. The place was not crowed at the time and as you walk in you're greeted with a glimpse of their beautiful famous pies. We were seated quickly, the staff was welcoming and our orders were taken. The drinks arrived and my lemonade had something floating which appeared to be a small bug like a knat. So I sent it back in exchange for water and lemon. My daughter ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger with fries. The fries were cold and she sent them back for fresh ones. I ordered the country chicken fried steak dinner. I could hardly cut the steak because it seemed like the cook left it in the deep fryer too long and it was inedible. I sent it back for another one and the second one was cooked the right way but I've had better at Denny's. The hostess was great and very apologetic, we had no problems when mentioning dissatisfaction with the food. I believe her name was Jenna, she checked on us often to make sure everything was good. The dinner rolls and soft butter were also very good. My overall dining experience was just okay but I dont think I'll return unless its for pie or dinner rolls. I did buy two pies for my weekend family dinner, Apple and Pumpkin because I've heard the pies are great. Bugs in your drink and sending food back on two orders deserves no star. However, I give 3 stars because my daughter did enjoy her burger which was not sent back, the hostess apologetic service recovery and good attitude is well appreciated. Very disappointing!! Perhaps I should have read the reviews. We order the famous pot pie and it hardly had flavor the cranberry sauce was the best part of the dish. I order fish & chips which the chips turned out to be fries I wasn't given the option to get their famous house made chips. The salmon itself had no flavor, the batter was good but it didn't compensate for the lack of flavor on the fish. And without no salt or anything added to the fish the dish becomes bland. My side dish I changed it to the spinach, it had a very particular taste I couldn't quite pin point, but The look of it was very particular as well. Needless to say I didn't eat it. Pollys use to be real good but this time it was just so so. I ordered the Macadamia crusted fish it came with an apricot sauce that I scraped off, it kinda tasted like a BBQ sauce. The veggies were dry and flavorless the fish was really hot like it came out of the microwave, the rice was dry but had a little flavor. I had Pie and Ice Cream but even the Vanilla ice cream tasted like ice milk, if I remember they used to have great ice cream here. It will probably be a while before I return. First time here. Had the chicken and dumplings. Actual dumplings not the thick noodles some places try to pass off as dumplings. Followed that with some very tasty sliders. I have lived in the area since I was a kid and we always come here for great service, friendly smiles, comfort food and amazing pies. Very rarely do they disappoint and we can always count on them for our holidays pies. BUT if I were to make one recommendation DO NOT GET THE BANBERRY PIE. It tastes like a cavity waiting to happen. The banana part tastes like a laffy taffy and the strawberry on top makes your face pucker because the whole dish is so sweet. Came to enjoy a nice weekend lunch with the hubby and daughter. The ambience was nice and cozy. We had to wait to be seated for about 20 minutes. While we waited, I took the pleasure of smelling the beautiful candles they had on display at the entrance as well as look over the different selections of coffee, selection of pies and some yummy looking fruit spreads. The hubby ordered the chili which came with a good-sized piece of cornbread. My hubby said it was really good. My daughter ordered the cheeseburger with fries which she enjoyed as well. I got the turkey sandwich with a side of chips. Then we own indulge in some pie as dessert which was very tasty as well. Overall service was great and the food was delicious. Steer clear, unless you like paying for $3.29 for a cup of coffee. Refills require act of Congress. I keep going back, thinking that the service will improve. It just gets worse. This last time the on-staff mgr, Joel, felt my pain and took care of the bill. I don't mind too much paying top dollar for a quality meal and excellent service. But when both are substandard, there are other businesses who'll trip over themselves to provide this.
