Ordered a watermelon mint lemonade for $4.00 and got something made with what tasted like country time dried powder based lemonade. Sorry Pom & olive , that was bad. The ground meat kabobs were okay, they came out of the kitchen in minutes like they were pre-cooked. My wife had lamb chops which were okay. Overall we've had much better food from places like open sesame. The taboule tasted like they used bottled lemon juice, like that real lemon brand stuff. Way to ruin an otherwise good recipe with crappy ingredients. Why go to all the trouble of peeling and dicing fresh vegetables only to douse them with some artificial tasting "juice". We're terribly disappointed. We're gotten this same beef shawarma plate several times. It's consistently delicious and authentic. Plus, they are great about accommodating dietary requests. We also understand that the cost of meat has risen greatly but the portion of meat is about 1/3 of what it was last time. We would have preferred the price be raised than portion cut. read more

I highly recommend the Lamb Shank; so tender it falls off the bone, broth that is favor enhancing with being overpowering. Normally served over mashed potatoes, I prefer to ask for the potatoes on the side. When used as a base for the Lamb Shank, the potatoes melt into the stock - which in itself is a pleasant experience. Ask for the beet salad - it's perfectly balanced. The beets are just tender enough without loss of color or flavor. Laid on a bed of crispy lettuce and topped with walnuts and a sprinkle of a very creamy feta. read more

Great food. Weird venue layout. I'm pretty sure Pom and Olive used to be a doctor's office because the outside decor and inside layout screams, medical office! First things first, free food with a check-in! They offer pita fries on the house with a Yelp Check-in and I gotta admit, the pita fries are genius. You take day old pita, season it, flash fry it, and kaboom, pita fries. They are served with hummus and a great way to kick off lunch. Along with the fries we ordered Samosas, which are fried flat bread stuffed with potatoes, parsley and herbs served with pomegranate sauce. These were amazing, but having fried pita with more fried bread was a little much for me and I hit the fried dough wall. If I had to choose between the two, I'd get the Samosas all day! I also ordered the combination plate with beef and chicken shawarma. This came with falafel, hummus, Mediterranean salad, and basmati rice. This is a great choice if your looking to try a little bit of everything. All of it was delicious except for the meat, It tasted more like ground beef than shawarma and the flavor got lost among the enormity of the plate. Today i visited this restaurant for the third time in two weeks. Each time I was surprised to find unique Mediterranean dishes.that you can not find in other restaurants. First time I had 'Beyti Kebap , an original Turkish delicacy Second time I had lamb shanks, today I had lamb chops, both were well marinated and cooked to perfection. I also had hummus starter with house made delicious breadsticks. There are more dishes waiting for me such as Iskender Kebab & Cheese Borek. Aside from the tasty food, the rooms are well furnished which can be arranged for meetings as well as cosy dining for two. Location is very accessible and nice parking.
