He placed the flowers my friends brought into a beautiful vase, surprised me with a piece of cake, and even displayed my name along with the "Happy Birthday" song on the TV. Last Friday night, my husband and I went to Bayshore Lounge with our friends to enjoy Persian pizza while watching the soccer game, and we had such a wonderful experience! Came here for a graduation party and the food didn't disappoint! It's a great location off of the main road with easy and free parking, which is sometimes hard to find in some Newport spots. Hamid & Milad were very hospitable, friendly, and made sure we got everything we needed. The wings were super crispy, but juicy on the inside and the fries were solid as well! The mains were great as the chicken was moist and so flavorful that we didn't even need to add any extra sauce to it. We were seated promptly since they weren't too busy with only one other table when we arrived. We were hoping to sit on their rooftop, but it was closed due to a private event, so we were seated on the outdoor patio instead. I ordered the fish tacos, while my sister got the chicken shish kabob plate. We thought the food was good, but nothing particularly memorable. The staff was friendly, but there were moments when we felt a bit overlooked. For instance, I waited a while to get someone's attention for a water refill that never came, & we also had to wait longer than expected to ask for the check. We've had consistently great experiences with Bayshore Cafe, both dining in and when using their catered food for events. They have a great menu, with plenty of options. We love the steak and mushroom pizza. The pizza is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and has a great crust. We've also used them for catering for events, and their ground beef kabobs are always a huge hit--juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. On our most recent visit, we had the baklava for dessert, and it was absolutely amazing--perfectly sweet and flaky. I have also heard good things about their breakfast, so we hope to be back soon to give it a try. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for excellent food and great service.
