The food is REALLY good, but the service leaves something to be desired. It's also pricey and the portions aren't that big, but it's really tasty. We sat on the patio and had the margherita pizza and the arrabiata pasta. All very good, fresh, and delicious. The pizza crust is nice and chewy and the pasta is perfectly cooked. I asked our server to describe what kind of pasta shape the arrabiata pasta came with and she said "not something you've had before" and didn't go any further into it than that, which was dismissive and unhelpful (btw, the pasta shape is like a wide flat textured noodle rolled into a tube, the width of penne but longer). We went last weekend and have to say was disappointed. My Dad and I each got a caprese salad and an entree and an ice tea. The salads took over 30 minutes and we had to wait for balsamic to be delivered. When our meals came they were Luke warm and my gnocchi had crusted cheese over it so either it was burnt in the kitchen or it was sitting for awhile. We came in for the first time on Saturday 9/26 and had an AMAZING experience. The food was great, we managed to come in during reversed happy hour and pleasantly surprised with the drink menu. Our bartender was awesome and accommodating. We ordered the mulo and replaced the vodka with patron tequila and was the best mule ever. We were even more excited when received our bill. We left feeling it was the best $60 spent and were already planning our next visit. It was a great Saturday evening. Tonight 10/1 we came in at 9 again to take advantage of the reversed happy hour prices and have some good food also. Not the case at all. Fresh cheeses, imported meats and the crust...well it's a true Neapolitan style. Thin, chewy and bubbles make the crust of which I love. The burrata plate is one of my stand by. Creamy cheese, fresh basil and cracked pepper. Thee are a variety of pizza combinations to choose from. We usually get a few and share family style to get the full flavor experience. I went for happy hour and was really not impressed. Maybe I should have gotten pizza, but the appetizers were not good. I had the meatballs, which were room temperature and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar of Ragu. The bruschetta was basically a hamburger bun with some under ripe cut up tomatoes on it.
