Chicken and beef platters.

Excellent dishes. Went with the chicken skewer platter. Interior renovation looks clean and neat in classic Greek white.

menus on the wall

We were looking for a good lunch spot when traveling in Norwalk. Pontos Taverna was rested highly, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. It was really good. When you enter, the menu stand is on the left. The restaurant is basically a big room with several tables spread through the room and the order counter on the back left. It's simple but nice. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter. It was served with orzo, tzatziki, pita bread, and a tomato and red onion mix. The chicken was flavored very well, and it all fit well together. I highly recommend Pontos Taverna.

The restaurant was clean, cozy and slightly minimalistic. The waitress was extremely friendly and the service was pretty quick. Unfortunately, they happen to be out of everything beef that day. I was slightly disappointed, but ended up ordering the pork souvlaki. I have to say, the pork was so tender and delicious. The Tzaziki sauce was excellent as well. The fries were well-made, and I'm not a huge french fry fan. The sandwich was slightly small, but enough to fill you up. The gluttony in me wanted a bigger sandwich. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again. Hopefully, they'll have beef.

Greek salad with chicken

Both myself and my coworker had the small Greek salad and a chicken souvlaki on top. Cucumber and tomatoes fresh like it was summer. Great l7nch dish.

Ordered here for the first time tonight and I was so impressed! Will be ordering again in the future! Teddy took my order and was so helpful and kind! Super amazing service! The spicy whipped feta was absolutely unbelievable! I wish I had a chance to take a photo but we ate it before I had the chance! The tzatziki was also very delicious. The chicken Souvlaki platter was very filling. Chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. Pita was hot and fresh out of the oven! The Greek salad tasted very authentic and fresh, I wish they served over a lettuce mix however that's just my own personal preference. Overall very good!

Amazing fish

Interior is sparse, acoustics require attention. There wasn't any back round music for ambiance. Slightly awkward staff but it could have been an off day. Most weekends are booked solid so reservations are suggested or come earlier than the dinner crowd. Typical of most Greek Resturant's they highlight Greek wines. So that was disappointing as they aren't my go to favorites. However, the cuisine was delicious. Our warm feta appetizer with long hot peppers didn't disappoint. The chicken souvlaki was moist, flavorful and the orzo salad was a nice accompaniment. But the shing star was the exceptional sauté fish. Perfectly prepared, tender, lightly floured, pan sautéed, slightly lemony, was outstanding. The baklava wasn't the best we've had but the coffee was strong and smooth.

Always a delight!!! The creamy smooth decadent almond cake!

My friend works nearby, so she met up with me for some tapas and drinks during happy hour, since my keys were next door. I wasn't hungry, so I just sampled everything she ordered. She had fried calamari which was beautifully presented, the hanger steak with green chimichurri, Eggplant Tablao (fresh mozzarella, fried eggplant, and warm tomato ragu), and the warm goat cheese with marinara sauce and pesto crostini. (Portion was super small) oh yeah, we also had the paellera consisting of chorizo, chicken, pork, clams, mussels, shrimp. The bread with olive oil was a nice simple touch as well. For drinks, we had a margarita and a Manhattan. The Manhattan was amazing...the fresh orange zest really elevated the drink and infused it with a bright citrus aroma right away. Definitely recommend trying it! We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, Luis. You can tell he truly takes pride in his craft and creating an experience for his guests. He was welcoming and passionate about what he does. I'd definitely return again!

Large bar area, a larger dining room great for private events (which they do a lot of) per our attentive waiter and a smaller dining area near the front window. My friend and I had 3 of their specialty cocktails while there which we enjoyed very much. We had the octopus with fingerling potatoes which was delicious; the octopus was very tender. We also had the mussels in a white wine broth, it was great. It was a good sized portion for two, but we almost ordered another as it was so delicious. It came with bread to soak up the yummy sauce. My friend had a decaf cappucino and the goat cheese flan since she didn't want anything too sweet. It was also great, the tangy cheese wasn't noticeable in it and kept the flan from being too sweet (personal preference). They had other flans and Dulce de Leche as well.

What was most frustrating was the complete lack of management oversight--both the waitress and manager clearly saw what was happening, yet neither took any meaningful action. No attempt was made to address the disruptive guests, relocate us, or even acknowledge the situation with an apology. This level of inattentiveness and disregard for guest experience reflects very poorly on the service standards. The food was ok, but it wasn't nearly good enough to justify the high prices or make up for the poor service and lack of concern for our dining experience. We will not be returning, nor will we ever recommend.

"A birthday dinner that actually felt like one."…read more Sienna Ristorante gets the balance right in a way most places don't. The space immediately stands out with a clean, modern feel that still feels warm, not staged or overly polished. It sets the tone before the food even hits the table. The meal itself followed through. The complimentary bread with oil was simple but done right, soft with a good crust and a clean, flavorful dip. We shared the wild mushroom arancini, and that was the first real standout. Crispy on the outside, rich on the inside, and the sauce was the kind you keep going back to without thinking. It carried the dish. For mains, I went with the wild mushroom pizza, which came out with a well balanced crust and just enough weight from the toppings without feeling heavy. The mushrooms were the focus and they delivered. The honeynut squash ravioli leaned more delicate, slightly sweet, and felt more composed than expected in a good way. Drinks held their own too. The Old Fashioned was clean and steady, while the lychee martini added something lighter and more refreshing to the table. They close the meal with biscotti and limoncello, which already would have been enough, but we added the tiramisu and that was the right call. It rounded everything out without feeling excessive, just a clean finish to a well paced dinner. Service matched the tone of the restaurant, attentive without hovering, and the pacing of the meal felt natural from start to finish. This is the kind of place that feels intentional. Not just good food, but a full experience that actually holds together. Easy to come back to, especially for something worth celebrating.
