Great place. The front staff was super nice and professional. Dr. Poolsaad was great. He explained everything in regular folk language so I could understand. He was very thorough in his diagnosis. I am definitely coming back cuz I'm pretty sure I need glasses and the team here are great to work with. Oh, and my wife will he coming here too cuz she liked what she saw during my appointment. One thing to mention, they actually fit me in-between appointments because I had an eye emergency. That was awesome! Not many places would do something so kind. For full disclosure Aaron is a former customer, and I like to seek out people that have done business with me in the past. That said I tend not to review places that I feel have given me lackluster service; unless they've really done me wrong. I've never received such good service from an eye doctor period! To the point of I kept asking him, with the amount of attention to detail he was giving me, that he needs to charge me more and stop giving me discounts/freebees... not that he was giving the farm away. I have been a patient for several years, and I FINALLY got my reluctant husband to get his eyes and vision examined by Dr. Poolsaad. I put off going to the optometrist for years now, and a friend told me to check out this spot. The whole staff, from the front office to the Dr. P himself (who i had the appointment with) really know how to treat their customers. You wouldn't usually think that even optometrists have ways to get money out of you, and overhearing Dr. P's interaction with another customer made me grateful i came to this office. I had heard him telling another customer that he wasn't going to tell him numbers and recommend prescription glasses, because his vision wasn't bad enough to require it. He proceeded to explain that he can function fine with how his eyes were currently, but if it really worried him then he can prescribe something. It's refreshing to see when a business owner looks out for their customers before thinking of their pockets, and Dr. P embodies that. I went through some basic eye tests with, Christina, who was very friendly and made me feel comfortable being there. My appointment with Dr. P went extremely well. I was the last appointment of the day, but he still took his time to answer all of the 824 questions i had regarding getting contact lenses. Thanks for your patience doc! When he explained things, he used clever analogies to help me get a better understanding of things. (he also did this with that customer i overheard his conversation with) Although his office is a bit of a drive for me, (and there's a bunch of other optometrists on the way) I'm really glad my friend recommended me here. I cannot give enough stars for the service they were able to provide for me. I called as an emergency visit (I had no more contact lenses in and I did not have a back up pair of glasses!) I had to go into work same day. Other offices were not able to see me at all, but I was lucky to stumble upon this office. Dr. Poolsaad was nice enough to squeeze me in and help me right away; very informative and also recommended some eye drops! I was able to get my eye exam done and order a box of contacts!
