Bagel Broker is a long standing family owned bagel shop in Los Angeles' Fairfax District since 1987. The bagel shop is located directly across from the CBS Studio. [Parking]: The shop has a small and free private parking lot which is a rarity in this part of neighborhood near the Grove / The Original Farmers Market. I had no issue finding a parking spot on Sunday morning. [Atmosphere]: Old school bagel shop vibe with several indoor tables to sit. No outdoor patio tables and no public restroom. [Menu]: Hot egg sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese is a popular option. Some of top Yelp highlights include cheese onion bagel, jalapeño and cheddar bagel, and bialy bagel. Buy a dozen bagel and get 2 bagels free. [Bagel options]: Water (Water Bagel or Plain), Everything, Sesame, Onion, Poppy, Egg, Cheese Onion, Jalapeño, Jalapeño Cheddar, Cinnamon Raisin, Raisin, Blueberry, Wheat, Garlic, Salt, Pumpernickel, Corn Rye,Marble Rye, and Bialy. [Cream cheese options]: Plain, Lite, Chive, Lox, Cheddar Jalapeño, Veggie, Strawberry, and Honey Walnut. *** Lox & Cream Cheese (cheese onion bagels - $13.50): The bagel sandwich also has sliced cucumber and onion + a side of potato salad - I thought both lox bagel and potato salad tasted just alright. *** Personally I wouldn't drive out of the way just for their bagels. This might be a fine stop to visit 20+ years ago, but there are just too many good bagel shops in Los Angeles now.

THE BEST BAGELS IN LA. Period. They're authentic and perfectly dense and chewy. An explosion of deliciousness, and well-priced! I've tried literally every bagel here and not once have I thought "hmm that one's not that good." To top it off, the employees are fantastic and always so lovely. They move the line quickly and remember you! There isn't a better bagel shop out there, trust me! 10/10

This is the closest to those old bagel factories of yesteryear. They are fresh and reasonably priced. Good size too. They have a menu for sandwiches too. Buy 6 get 1 free. Buy 12 get 2 free. Nice!! The put plenty of toppings. Everything bagels are completely covered. Their cheese bagels are the best and so soft the next day too. Cheese jalapeño and cheese and onion. Parking is tough even with their own lot

If I wasn't a fan of bagels, I am one standing in front of the display case with these brokers. It was like spinning a wheel of chores if it meant I get to pick 5. Landed on the cheesy jalapeño toasted with egg and cheese. Came out before I could even fill my coffee and I hate that it took me restraint to make the sandwich last as long as it did. The line gets insane in this tiny plaza but moves fast, even if you have to stare at a fellow bum, grime on cheeks, eating his steaming bagel sandwich too. It's worth it.

This place is ALWAYS busy. The staff works fast and are always pleasant. The parking is cramped, so I park in the metered parking just east of the shop. I gotta be honest, the bagels themselves are fine...as in not the low quality of Western Bagels, but not the "eat the bagel right out of the bag" goodness of Pop's Bagels. They're somewhere in the middle. The place located in a convenient, well populated area. They have a lot of regulars. Me? I'm just passing through, looking for the best bagels in town. If you're like me, I'd say give this place a try, but be open to other bagels in the neighborhood.

Come here often. Maybe 4 or 4 times a month. Today ordered a blueberry toasted with cream cheese. And added an unprepared cheese and onion bagel. Both bagels were great. As always

This was a great bagel shop! They had a huge variety and the staff is super helpful with helping you choose all your flavors. If you buy six bagels, they give you a seventh for free and if you buy a dozen they give you an extra 2 bagels. We really liked all of the options with cheese on the top. The cinnamon raisin bagel is also really good. My favorite bagel was the poppyseed bagel. The parking lot is super small but there is street parking on the road next to the shop it was pretty busy inside. It seems like a neighborhood joint where people like to get their breakfast in the morning. We can't wait to go back! There was also plenty of seating inside if you wanted to eat there

It's a good location on the way to Cedars. Loved the bagel tuna sandwich. It tasted very fresh. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. There was a long line but it moves fast. The workers are nice and friendly. Parking is not the best but just be patient.

Bustling bagel shop that sells plenty of bagels and bagel sandwich varieties. Very busy on a weekend morning, but the line moved efficiently and the staff were helpful and friendly. I ordered the lox bagel sandwich and it was quite good, although I found the everything bagel to be a excessively salty. The side of potato salad was delicious.

Fun bagel spot in a strip mall across from CBS Studios on Beverly. Bagels were great and inexpensive compared to other bagel spots around town. Staff was friendly, which is a rarity these days. The only downside is that parking is limited since the spot is always jumping.

During our short stay in LA, we have made a habit of starting almost every day a hardy breakfast with the Bagel Broker because of the taste and quality of food here. My go to is the lox bagels, which all taste very fresh, and the Sliced Nova Lox contains a lot of acidity to balance the fattiness of the salmon. The service is very fast and the staff are very friendly with recommendations of bagel combinations with each smear or filling. And the cherry on top: there is plenty of parking, which is quite a luxury in LA.

Which is why I said "yes" to checking this place out even though it was a drive for us. We're coming from the southbay of LA. The parking situation is pretty tight, but if you get there at the right time you'll find a spot in their underground parking area. It's an easy walk up to the bagel shop from there. They have ample seating outdoors. The indoor seating is first come first take and it looks like it's usually crowded. I had this place on my to-do list for over a month and a half and I finally happened to be in the area, so I stopped by to give it a try. I ordered the Signature Calic and the Pepperoni Pizza Calic. The place was pretty busy and it took about 20 minutes to get my order, but I have a feeling they're making these fresh because when they brought them out they were steaming hot like they had just come out of the oven. The first thing I noticed was that these aren't your typical bagels. Instead of being sliced in half, they're stuffed and baked, almost like a cross between a bagel and a stuffed bread. The outside had a nice light crispness to it while the inside was soft and fluffy. Honestly, the texture reminded me more of fresh Italian bread than a traditional chewy bagel. The Signature Calic was loaded with whipped garlic cream cheese and had a great layer of garlic, cheese, and seasoning on top. The Pepperoni Pizza Calic was packed with marinara-flavored cream cheese, melted mozzarella, and pepperoni. When I pulled it apart, there was cheese stretching everywhere, and it definitely looked as good as it tasted. Both bagels were extremely fresh and full of flavor. They were also surprisingly filling. I finished the garlic one and all but one bite of the pizza bagel, which I ended up finishing later. I'm honestly a little torn on this place. I enjoyed both bagels, the freshness was outstanding, and the flavors were really good. At the same time, I think I'm more of a traditional bagel guy. I like a bagel that's a little chewier and I usually prefer a thicker cream cheese instead of the whipped style they use here. That said, I'm glad I finally gave it a try because it was definitely different from anything else I've had. If you've never been here before, I think it's worth stopping in at least once. You may end up loving this style of bagel. For me, I still lean toward a more traditional bagel with lox or maybe a simple bagel with jalapeños, cheese, and cream cheese, but I'm happy I finally checked this place off my list.

Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

Unfortunately, what…read morereally holds it back is the price point and the overwhelming hype--both from long lines and TikTok buzz--that doesn't quite match the experience. The scale tips more toward the downside when it comes to the bagels themselves. The toppings aren't particularly unique, or consistent, and the bagel had a noticeably firm texture that didn't stand out in a good way. What initially drew me in--and ultimately prompted this review, my first review--was the coffee. After trying 50+ coffee shops over the past 2 years alone, I can honestly say this was one of the more disappointing lattes I've had. I ordered a whole milk latte, and the best way to describe it is simply: watery. It wasn't milk-forward, not sweet, and surprisingly not even very coffee-forward. Instead, it had a slightly herbal, almost oily, burnt-bean flavor that felt diluted with water. I also ordered the carrot cake latte, which had the same base issue. The carrot cake foam helped mask it a bit, but it tasted more like a strong sugar cookie flavor than anything close to carrot cake. In the end, giving grace, perhaps it was just a "bad barista day". Overall, it's not terrible--but definitely not worth the hype or the price. *If visiting on the weekend arrive before 9:30 to beat the line if you dare.*
