--Shout Out --- A special shoutout to Mia, Sydney, and Callie for helping me choose the perfect bagel, spread and getting gifts for my nieces. --Location/Parking-- Located in the shopping center in Buckhead. Plenty of parking, but be warned I came during the weekday during mid day and there were spots available, but it looks like it can get crowded. I saw about 20 spots open at the time of my visit. --Ambience-- Similar to a walk up with limited seating. I think all locations have a similar setup. There were only two tables inside, because of the hot sun I recommend staying inside or taking it too go. Along the wall were available merch. --Service/Staff-- Mia, Sydney and Callie recommended Bagels got me merch for my niece and made my nieces day. Thank you!!!! --Products-- Bagel with picked schmear hits the spot. Highly recommended from Callie. --Capacity-- Inside could probably only hold 4-8 people maximum and probably there were lines running outside because of the limited space. --Overall-- Don't miss this cool and upcoming bagel spot that is coming everywhere across the country.

I have had bagels brought to me several times. They are smaller bagels, compared to many other places, but this is not a bad thing because you are not filling up on bread. Outside has a nice slight crunch while the inside is chewy. Makes for a really good bagel.

This is one of the most recent pop-ups for PopUp Bagels, right in the heart of Buckhead Landing, essentially next to Aviva by Kameel. As you can expect, there was quite a bit of fanfare upon opening. Most of the focus was on the flavor profiles of the bagel offerings (everything, poppy seed, etc.) as well as the "schmears"...which include scallion cream cheese and salted butter. So it is carb heavy! The workers are bubbly. Make sure you come in with an appetite. Enjoy the energetic PopUp ambiance!

New PopUp Bagel store opened in the Buckhead Landing plaza near Lenox Mall! Location isn't that big but plus is there's a lot of available parking. I went on grand opening day and there were already a lot of people! One of the employees greeted me at the entrance explaining how to order. Downside is you can't order just one bagel but more the better I guess You can also preorder online and skip the lines! They have it all ready for you to pick up at the desk. They serve the bagels as they make them, so they are warm and delicious! Schmears are delicious too and they have some specialty ones like the pickles and peaches. You can also buy some meats to make your own lox bagels. I really missed NYC bagels, so I was happy I got to try PopUp Bagels!

So fun to see that Popup Bagels finally opened in Buckhead! I stopped by on grand opening day, and the energy was fantastic. Even with a line, the service was super efficient, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I love that their bagels are always served fresh and warm, and the peach cream cheese special was such a hit. I'll definitely be making this a regular stop!

I owe Brooklyn Deli an apology for not finding them sooner…read more As a New Yorker turned Atlantan, I have spent the last year quietly lowering my expectations for bagels here. I've had some that were OK. Some that were good-ish. Some that were simply round bread with a hole in the middle. I began to accept that it just wasn't a thing here. And then today I ordered the whitefish bagel from Brooklyn Deli. Oh. My. God. The bagel was chewy, fresh, and actually tasted like a BAGEL. The whitefish was incredible. The whole thing tasted like nostalgia. Like somebody briefly picked me up from Atlanta and dropped me back on 24th and 3rd for brunch. Absolutely remarkable. No notes. My bagel-related cynicism has been temporarily suspended, and Brooklyn Deli has earned the extremely prestigious approval of one extremely dramatic former New Yorker.

(I'm looking at you, Jack's New Yorker Deli.) But I was in the Ansley Mall neighborhood for some errands and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. It was a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door so that is usually a good sign. I went with the Brooklyn sandwich (Hot pastrami, coleslaw, swiss, spicy mustard, & Russian dressing). You can opt for the smaller portion of meat (the ATL) or the larger portion (New York). It was just the right amount of coleslaw, mustard and Russian dressing so that the bread wasn't sopping wet. And the pastrami is hot and it wasn't overly greasy either. A nice balance with the side order of potato salad. It was a little more sandwich than I needed for lunch but it was pretty faithful to New York style all things considered. $18.50 for the larger New York version of the Brooklyn sandwich including tax. I was tempted by the Dr. Brown's sodas from back home and all of the pastries and deli items for sale as you are making your way up to the front to place your order. Sunday afternoon is not really the time to shop around because of how busy it gets in there so a return trip is definitely in order.

Hands down the best breakfast and brunch in Atlanta for the price!…read more I love a good diner, and Goldbergs delivers every single time. It's light years ahead of J Christopher's, White Hall, First Watch, you game it. Now you won't get a fancy coffee or Instagram able photo, but you'll get solid food. I've been eating here for years and genuinely crave it about every three weeks...it's that good. You really can't go wrong. Portions are generous especially for the price, service is consistently solid (though wait times can vary, it's popular!), and with so many locations you can usually find one nearby. They're also great about modifying cooking oils for those of us who prefer olive oil or other healthier options. My go-to is an omelette or the nova scramble, with home fries -- big, crispy potato chunks with sautéed peppers and onions -- plus a side of toast, English muffin, or bagel (or swap for salad or fruit). My husband swears by their latkes, too. Classic, satisfying, and a total win for brunch lovers.

Every day this week that I was there, I had an issue with either they made something wrong or gave me less than desirable bagels or even put an everything bagel unwrapped in with sweet bagels and they were left covered with seasoning. I always add a tip even though I think it's ridiculous to tip before you even know what you're going to get, but today I only gave them $.92 to round up to the next dollar since this week has not gone well. This bagel is burnt and most likely inedible. I ordered it uncut and untoasted because I was going to take it home with me and it will be a struggle to make it have any life in it because if I toast it, it will just be terrible since it's already burnt and bitter. Apparently $.92 is not good enough, so I got the crappiest bagel in the bin and there were lots of nice ones. I guess no matter how busy I am, if I want a bagel, I will have to drive out of my way and go to BB's!

The cheese isn't melty and, in a town full of delicious biscuit offerings, i found the biscuit to be dry and stale. the evergreen breakfast sandwich continues to puzzle the hell out of me. i'll stick to Little Tart's offering from now on.

My blood sugar was low and I absolutely could not resist eating the cookie on my way home. Wow.. It was so chewy and delicious. Both flavors come through really nicely. On to the bagels... These are, by far, the best bagels I've had in Atlanta. Honestly, they put the chain bagel spots to shame. The interior is really open and has that beautiful sourdough tang. Umm.. two bagels. Put them in a bag, hand them to me. Easy. But no. I waited at that window, watching the two employees making sandwiches, while I'm waiting for TWO AS-IS BAGELS. What?!? THEN, I see dude in the back cutting, what looks like the two flavors of the bagels I ordered AS IS, so I say "Sir, no! That's not how I want them or ordered them." To receive ZERO response. Again, listening skills are NOT A STRONG POINT HERE. Will not be back. Took WAY too long for two AS IS bagels that I could have actually grabbed with tongs myself from the open baskets, but not knowing if that was allowed, I didn't. Instead, it took near 10 minutes what could have taken 20 seconds. Just baffling. So, to answer the question "What could improve?"
