Do NOT let the gas station vibes kill your idea of quality, this one is miles better than the stand alone one in Salem! They are extremely fast and the food is HOT and fresh. Thanks again for the good service!

These are supposed to be the honey bbq wings, but as you can see they only drizzled honey bbq sauce.

This Popeyes always cheat me. This mess I could have put bbq sauce on it myself if they were not going to put it

The efficiency of this place is so off the rails it's insane if wasn't in a busy truck stop it would have closed the doors years ago if you are trying to decide between a major medical procedure or a quick box of the procedure will definitely be faster not very clean or organized the chicken was surprisingly good my main complaint other than the slow service was that 4 piece platter came with a small wing and a drumstick not much bigger they could definitely use one person taking orders and another running them to improve the overall customer experience

II ordered the popcorn shrimp it's supposed to be a quarter pound of popcorn shrimp and I get this meal every time I go to Popeyes I think I know what it looks like what I received was barely a few popcorn shrimp and a handful of crumbs literally 12 pieces of popcorn shrimp half of which weren't even a full size the manager proceeded to argue with me that you're only supposed to get 13 ounces of popcorn shrimp which the last time I did math 3 ounces isn't even a quarter pound but regardless the fact that half of the shrimp or just bread crumbs did not sway him to think that maybe I was supposed to actually get a meal and not a little bit of bread and a few pieces of shrimp in a box that was mostly empty space he refused to fix it even though I made it clear that's what I wanted was the food... I had to ask for a refund since he wouldn't fix it... he didn't refund me for the jalapeños and proceeded to ban me from the store after I walked out. He was shaking and angry and yelling. Seeing as how I was the one in the right in the beginning of the exchange and how they made me late to work just because I didn't want to walk away with hardly any food for almost 11 bucks... and seeing as how he was quick to defend the mistake instead of seeing my side as a paying customer who was indeed just in need of more food THAT I HAD PAYED FOR. I will have to give this location a 1 star for arguing with me when I am right and escalating the exchange into a yelling match and refusing to take accountability even after I made it clear multiple times I just wanted the food. After being wrong on multiple levels and still asking me to not come back after I walked out. This guy is in the wrong line of work apparently and I wouldn't come back if you paid me

It wasn't absolutely terrible - but the perceived value left me quite complexed. For a fast food joint $13 for tiny tenders a few fries and biscuit left me scratching my head. For 12 bucks next door at almost home you can get a full chicken dinner from an actual restaurant! The quality was OK but I'm not sure if others feel the same

Came in today at 8:10 like usual. Immediately told half their menu was, surprise surprise, not available, and that we could not dine in despite being open for another 50 minutes. Everything went about as usual until my daughter asked if she could get a refill, like she has multiple times before, while we were waiting on the food. The girl running the register, who somehow managed to get our 2-item order wrong three times while taking it, refused to allow her a refill. When I asked why not, she stated it was store policy that refills were only allowed for guests dining in. When I pointed out that she was not allowing us to dine in, she smuggly replied "that is correct." Rather than demand a manager, who presumably wadn't present since it was only the two teenagers running the kitchen and register, we've decided this will just be our last trip and advise all of you other yelpers of the substandard service this place has made a practice of providing.

The fried chicken is good. And that's the headliner, right? I had a 5-piece chicken finger combo…read more(about $16). The chicken fingers are huge, much larger than the usual size you get in other places. The serving of fries is also huge. The drink that comes with the combo is small. Diminutive, even. It was too much food for me, but I didn't know how big the chicken fingers are here, because I had never eaten here before. Same with the fries. Two of me (and I'm not a small guy) would have been happy with what I ordered. I ordered Cajun sauce to go with my chicken and that was a terrible mistake. I am from New Orleans, so as you might imagine, I've eaten a lot of Cajun food in my life, and the sauce did not resemble anything Cajun I've ever had. I daresay it tasted more like Mexican hot sauce than anything else, but mostly, it just tasted bad. And not that hot, either. I went back up to the register and paid for another two containers of sauce, and this time the selection was more mainstream, that is, honey barbecue. Which was good. Not great, but, you know, good. The dining area is very basic, very spartan, some inexpensive chairs and tables and a muted flat-screen TV (with closed-caption) on the wall. The single staff person at the register was very solicitous, too much so, frankly. Cloyingly nice, almost to the point of being obsequious. But perhaps I am just too jaded and cynical, other people may love the immediate high level of friendliness and familiarity. Country music was playing loudly while I was eating. After a while I realised that it was not actually country music, but rather, Christian pop music. If you're on the Pepsi side of The Great Soda Schism, you'll be happy here. If you're on the Coke side, you're not going to be happy. I like Coca-Cola, so I ordered a lemonade, which turned out to be not lemonade, really, but water with almost no lemon taste in it. It came out of the dispenser, so maybe the tank was almost empty or something, I don't know. It was water with the faintest taste of lemon. That's what I got for a drink. There are a great many restaurants that do wonderful things with a chicken. The chicken-lover landscape offers up an embarrassment of riches. With that in mind, I think I'd pick another spot for fried chicken. Not because the chicken was bad (it was not), but other things about the place were not particularly appealing to me, and it's not as if the main drawing card here (which is the bird) is so completely fantastic that you brush all the shortcomings aside. The chicken isn't that good, you know? It's good, but not so good as to make you forget about everything else.

The cheesy Ddukbokki (rice noodle cakes) were also good, but still spicy if you cannot tolerate heat (more than just gochujang). I had such a bizarre experience here that I just had to write about it on yelp…read more This Chimcking usually has 2 different BOGO offers on UberEats, each for a 10pc chicken wings. I usually buy both of the BOGO offers, and I've done this a few times in the past, and they've all gone fine, no problems. I get my 4x10pc wing orders without issue. Yesterday I did the same thing - I ordered 2 BOGOs, expecting my usual 40 wings. But when I walked into pick it up, the Asian lady at the counter (I think she's the owner, maybe?) chastised me and told me to limit myself to just 1 BOGO order in the future. Huh? I only got 2 BOGOs, and it's not like the price was so cheap that the restaurant was losing money or something. And besides, I've ordered these 2 BOGOs numerous times in the past. That's when I saw that the restaurant was treating any SINGLE 10pc order as a BOGO. So when I checked out with my 4 10pc orders, the restaurant took that to mean 4 BOGO orders, or in other words, EIGHT 10pc orders. No wonder the lady was upset. Of course, it's not my error, as the restaurant was interpreting the order incorrectly. I even tried my best to explain this to the lady, as well as explain that I've ordered these BOGOs multiple times in the past (and this same lady was at the desk when I picked them up!!), and it's never been an issue. Still, the lady kept insisting she was correct, and that 1 10pc order constituted a BOGO in itself, which makes absolutely zero sense, and not how literally any other merchant I've ever bought from on UberEats has done their BOGO promotions, which I also told her. Anyway, in the future, I'll still continue to order as many BOGOs as I want, I'll just probably order delivery so I don't have to deal with this nonsense. EDIT: I see the owner has responded to my review. I can certainly see how someone exploiting multiple BOGOs to order 100+ wings at a time would be harmful to the company and completely against the spirit of the promotion. But I did nothing like that. Two different BOGOs were being offered, and I simply purchased 1 of each. I've done this multiple times both at this restaurant and at numerous other restaurants that offer different BOGOs, and this was literally the first time that any restaurant worker has mentioned a word about it. The biggest issue is that the Chimcking workers are apparently a bit undertrained when it comes to processing ubereats BOGO promotions, which is why I received 80 wings instead of the 40 I was supposed to get.
