We had a great experience with our recent drive-thru order at Popeyes in Dublin! We ordered the spicy chicken dinner with an extra chicken breast, along with a 5-piece chicken tenders meal. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor--exactly what you hope for. The mac & cheese was especially amazing--creamy, rich, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. You can tell care went into preparing everything. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Even through the drive-thru, they were warm, welcoming, and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. Excellent job, Dublin Popeyes! We'll definitely be back. read more

If you are a Catholic who cannot eat meat on Fridays, do not come here. Do not come unless your lunch break is an hour minimum. Ordered a spicy fish in the drive thru, I said fish multiple times. I received a receipt and a sandwich that was all chicken. I mentioned that I did not want chicken in the drive thru, was instructed to come inside. The manager inside asked to see my receipt and said, "you ordered a chicken sandwich; there is nothing else I can do." Made me go outside to my car and grab the chicken to immediately throw it away. Offered to ring me up for an additional fish sandwich despite not ordering it in the first place. Had to stop her and ask, how can I get a fish sandwich? Thankfully the poor cook tossed me a fish and apologized while the manager clicked around on the register trying to make a transaction out of the error caused by the drive thru. All in All, 40 minutes and I am fuming. Poor kitchen fella deserves a raise. I will not be returning to this location as it is the worst on Tuttle. read more

The chicken appeared to have set for hours.. the drive through will put any trash in your bad and seal the bag for a huge disappointing letdown when you open it ! I'm missing a part of my meal the last 4 times I went there. Either the biscuit, drinks, fries, or ranch. The white lady manager gets my order right every time. Surprise surprise I don't see her and my order is wrong four times in a row... however if she's the manager she does a terrible job at managing her team because they're mess up orders 100 times a day I know I'm not the only one. On top of that you have to ask for a lid on your cup in the drive through when they give you the wrong drink. The people working here are better off seeking disability from the government because you'd have to be slow to think people don't want a lid on their drive through drink. read more

I paid $16.69 tonight for a 3 piece dinner, two sides and a drink. I thought I was getting real fried chicken pieces, but instead I got 3 tenders. I thought the sides came with the dinner price, but the place charged me separately for the cole slaw and skimpy portion of mashed potatoes. What a rip off! Two years since my original post and it appears NOTHING has changed. It's sad because EVERYONE loves the chicken so much that they tolerate the worst staff and abhorrent customer service in existence. I finally stopped going to this location after about 10 orders, all of them missing sides or other mistakes. I anticipated the opening of the only other location in Dublin that would be on Sawmill Road. Once they opened, they were equally as bad as Tuttle. So we moved away from Dublin and seldom go there anymore, but I was really having Popeye's Signature withdrawal and I had a doctor's appointment in the Tuttle area. We put an order through the app and prepaid, Everything was spelled out clearly.... the 2-piece signature chicken (BREAST ONLY) because I don't like anything else, even thighs, and mashed potatoes, coleslaw, sweet tea and a biscuit. I know I have to check that every item is correct. I saw the tea, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, biscuits were there and I'm getting hopeful. I saw 2 large pieces of chicken and figured (for honestly the first time at this location) that it was 100% correct. Ah, what a stupid optimist I am! I got home (23 miles away) and found that these weren't breasts at all, but both THIGHS. I had upgraded and paid more $2 more for the breasts). Also the sweet tea was just plain tea, no sugar. I didn't eat the chicken or drink the tea that I had been jonesing and my dinner was chicken crust, the sides and biscuit. This was about 3pm. We were the only ones in line. I saw 2 of the women talking and they both looked over at us. My suspicion is that these were leftover from the lunch rush so they switched them out. OR just too lazy to fry up a few more breasts. Maybe sweet tea was out and they didn't feel up to that, either. What a shame. Such tasty, wonderful chicken! In a perfect world, people should be coming in droves. Popeye's should clean up this employee problem because it is rampant. This product should be making money hands over fist. All the marketing money and tv ads bring in customers and the chicken hooks them, until like us, they eventually get fed up ... which is where we're at. Unless someone tells me they know of a Columbus francisee that actually cares about customer loyalty. Which isn't this location. This was very busy at noon on a Friday when I went. The wait actually wasn't too long, as sometimes it is at Popeyes; I waited 5 or 10 minutes. I got a chicken sandwich, which is a pretty good chicken sandwich, although not amazing. Crispy tender breast, good bun, good sauce. And I got some tenders to go. I asked for blackened tenders and these are not blackened, they're just the regular tenders. But, they are tender, and crispy on the outside, and flavorful. They come with a biscuit and a side, and I got the red beans and rice, which are pretty good. They also have sweet tea as a drink which is, again, pretty good. Service was good, prices are reasonable, they have a variety of options, (if you're into chicken.) They are about to have some competition because Chick-Fil-A is going in a block away. This location is by far better than the location on West Broad Street. This location just opened up on 18th of March I believe. The line was wrapped around the building. When I say wrapped around the building, I mean the fact that when I was picking up my food the line was stretched around go to the right of me because there was such a long line in the drive thru. The set up is pretty decent. I don't think they'll have any issues with parking for people who choose to come inside. There were also people in the lobby. A ton. Looked like a line for the restroom. Today, I sat in the drive through line for about 30 minutes. I was on the phone so it didn't bother me but, if I had been on a lunch break or something, that would have been trouble. Since the line was wrapped, it would be been impossible to leave the line once in it. My food was hot and the person who took my order was friendly. The woman who handed me my food was also very friendly, personable and fun. My food was fresh, and I did not have any complaints. My chicken was crispy and juicy. Fries were crispy on the outside and warm inside. They actually didn't forget my sauces! The strawberry lemonade was very very sweet. I'm not a big fan of sweet I expected it to be a little more sour, but overall, the meal was worth my $10. I received my order almost instantly after pulling up. I felt that they were trying to move things as quickly as I could. Overall, I would definitely go back but I'll wait until the hype dies a bit before I go with time constraints. On Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. I was the first customer of the day at Popeye's in Dublin, OH across from Tuttle Crossing Mall. The young woman working the drive thru was very sweet and efficient. When I got home I took a big bite out of the chicken breast I ordered, but the texture and taste was very unpleasant. It was unavoidable that I ended up swallowing the majority of the bite, but was able to spit some out. As you can see from the photos I took, the chicken was severely undercooked and quite a bit was truly raw. Zoom in on the photos and you will see for yourself. The chicken was so undercooked that it was exactly like raw chicken I buy at the grocery store. Within approximately 30 minutes I started feeling ill. I spent all of Saturday and most of Sunday either in bed or throwing up in the bathroom. I did manage to contact corporate customer service via email since I could not find a phone number for this specific location. My complaint included pictures and details about my experience. Customer service responded Saturday afternoon to say that she was sorry to hear that I was not feeling well after eating at their location at 5150 Tuttle Crossing Blvd and to apologize for what I experienced. The customer service agent informed me that she notified the restaurant owner and management team to make them aware of the situation and she also requested that they follow up with me about this as soon as possible. Four days later, I still have not received a response from Popeyes. I paid for raw chicken that made me sick for most of the weekend, but apparently this isn't important enough for a formal response, apology, and resolution. I have been an extremely loyal customer of Popeye's for more than 3 decades - way before the wildly popular and delicious classic chicken sandwich. I have told all my friends and family to try Popeye's throughout the years. I was beyond excited to learn earlier this year that a new Popeye's was opening in my neighborhood in Dublin. Unfortunately, being ignored after reporting this experience has permanently tarnished my feelings about Popeye's. There are food born illnesses, including salmonella, caused by consuming raw or undercooked chicken. This is a serious issue and complaint. Three orders in a row. Every order missing major parts of the order. On this order, the 3rd one, we ordered a 2 piece dark, rice and beans, and a 3 piece dark, coleslaw. We got a 2 piece and three piece dark that were a total 5 legs (not a thigh in the bunch). We did not get the coleslaw or the red beans and rice. My wife drove back and they simply got the stuff of the shelf and put in a bag and gave it to her. No apology, no recognition, no nothing. I live about 30 minutes from any Popeyes. This location has typically gotten my orders wrong. Today I ordered wings with fries and a SIDE of red beans and rice. I got no fries. I wish the workers would listen to customers instead of hearing what they want to hear. The young man at the register was not customer oriented. He only spoke to me when I initiated it. Barely then. I found that very odd since at the time there was still 2 weeks of Lent and almost all of the fast food places offer fish during Lent. On 2/12/23 6pm-6:45pm I came to the drive-through and ask for fresh chicken, given the fact that the last time I came it was old and chewy.
