Well I will start off by saying love the spicy chicken sandwich there it is pretty awesome but have to talk about management here !!!! The 2nd time I went there I specifically asked for a spicy chicken sandwich with extra Suraci mayo or whatever that is they put of there so did not get that the gave me the regular chicken sandwich which is pretty regular nothing different then Chick-fil-A is very basic the really good chicken sandwich is the spicy chicken anyway I called him and told them they agreed to replace my order but when I got there they were out of sandwiches. So I asked for my money back with my receipt they said no lol ? We have been coming here for years. The food here is good and reasonably priced. They are open really late another plus. The service has been getting worst though the last few visits. We generally use the drive thru when visiting. The last time we came here we asked for extra sauce and Cajun sprinkles. They didn't give us any sauce or sprinkles. I was disappointed when we got home and checked our food and there was no sauce. I even asked the girl at the window twice to make sure she heard me. By the time saw the issue, we were too tired to drive back to the restaurant. I love Popeyes spicy chicken tenders. I have been ordering through GrubHub. This Popeyes is very slow. My order is often incorrect. I feel bad that I was blaming GrubHub for the error in my orders however I believe that it is the store making the errors on the orders. We had their hushpuppy shrimp back at the end of September. It was so spicy and I was not aware that it was suppose to be that way. It triggered my fiancés IBS just eating one. I reached out to customer service and they assured me that someone would contact me from the restaurant. After no response for a few days, I emailed again asking what ingredients were in the hushpuppy shrimp that might make it spicy. They said 7-10 business days to get back to me. Went through the drive through many times and usually by biggest complaint is it takes like 15 min and then staff isn't usually friendly. Tonight I went through and ordered an 8 piece mild family meal with red beans and rice and two sides of mashed potatoes. Got home and when we finally decided to eat there was 4 chicken legs and 4 small thighs no wings and no breast and it was spicy. Called to talk to a manager and the phone was busy when I finally was able to get through I was hung up on twice. Poor service. Finally I don't have to travel to MLK or a truck stop to get Popeyes! I was excited when they opened this place up right by my house. The novelty has worn off, but I still choose this place when I'm wanting fried chicken. Their sweet tea is so good that I'll buy the full gallon of it and take it home for only $4.25. I have a couple of gripes. They don't have the delta sauce anymore. I lived on this sauce and magically one day they said, "We don't carry it anymore." I was devastated... Also, their drive through is a little hard to hear the person speaking as well as having them hear you. I don't know if it's street location or if the person working the drive through doesn't quite understand everything I'm saying (if you catch my drift). Gonna start by saying that more than 50% of the time the staff is either rude or not properly trained, but mostly a horrible mix of the two. Don't even get me started on one of the night mangers who consistently talks shit about customers at the window not thinking that the customers there can hear her. Her favorite thing to call women is "bitch." She also seems to always have some drama with her staff there, including cussing, dramatic arguments that have staff leaving the building to cool off, etc. Also, if you've got a weak stomach, be warned of what's ahead. We always feel rushed. We are always getting cut off when we speak. The employees can't leave the script of "meal #, mild/spicy, and what to drink if you get a drink. You have to go step by step with them. Apparently this location is a "training location." Ask yourself this; would you expect better than average service from a location that boasts that it's a training store, OR would there be consistent errors due to most employees being trainees? Starting to wonder if the reason I see a new staff every occasion we visit there because of turnover, instead of the "trained" employees going to new locations. I hope it's not the latter of the two. My girlfriend and I decided to try the "deal" they have going on at the moment. $4.29 for a two pieces bone-in and a biscuit. Trash deal, I might add. That's 71¢ less than the old $5 deal they do on-and-off, but you're getting less than half the food. After we finished our one wing and MASSIVE (too big to properly cook with their predetermined cook times I'd guess) breast, we immediately felt like something was coming to life inside of us. After this, I was in bed for most of the day, in and out of the bathroom, and eventually projectile vomiting 4-5 times. Not to mention I've been basically pissin' out my ass for the last 16 hours.
