Perfect location if you are driving across The Alley and need a Popeyes fix. It is 2 miles north of the interchange on the left in a small shopping area. The restaurant was clean, and the drive thru was not too busy around lunchtime. The menu seemed smaller on the board behind the counter, but since they were advertising the New Blackened Chicken sandwich that is not breaded, I figured I would try it. There are 2 choices, Classic flavor with mayonnaise on the bottom of the bun or Spicy with sauce on the top and bottom. Both varieties come with 2 pickle slicces, and the bun is toasted and soft. Honestly, I didn't think the spicy blackened flavor was that spicy. I also felt that the chicken still seemed deep fried, just not breaded. The side dishes no longer include dirty rice, but they have rice and beans for a more authentic southern flavor. I don't know if I would reorder that sandwich as the traditional fried chicken sandwich is still better than any other place. read more

It's Popeyes the location I watched being built over a year ago. That combined with the agony of anticipation lead to long lines. Plus the novelty of a brand new spicy and classic chicken sandwich. The lines have since dropped down to normal, along with the fanfare of being the one and only Popeyes within 50 miles has diminished to normal. There is still a lunch rush hour that breaks up around 3:pm. I couldn't imagine going to wait more than 15 minutes for fast food. I've passed up many Popeyes to avoid the lines and ate at their competition. I couldn't imagine how badly people's attitude would be when they are hangry I'd guess even the best meals would be tainted by waiting in a line with other dissatisfied customers. My last 3 visits were excellent. Short lines around 2:30. The staff are quick to take the orders and explain how the combos and sides are ordered. Food 5 served quick and hot The sandwich was tasty I add extra hot sauce for more zing. So far I was happy with the sides . I had red beans and rice, Cajun fries, Cajun rice. As I write this review I'm tempted to go again in-spite of eating there two days ago. Ambiance 5 dining area and restrooms were clean. My rating will probably change after the "new store smell" fades. I drove down to Naples as this is my first time trying Popeye's. Coming up to the restaurant the line was so very long so we decided to go to the next plaza (drive thru was 1.5-2hrs long) and walk over. The place was pretty packed, we waited in line for about 25 mins for ordering and had to wait another 20 mins for our food to go. I know all the workers are working extremely hard and I appreciate it very much! There were a few side items which were 86ed, so when we ordered we were told. Had to quickly pick another side dish we weren't really wanting. We ordered: - 2 for $10 deal which came with 5 tenders, 2 sides (green beans and mashed potatoes) and 2 biscuits - 5pc Boneless Wings - 2 extra biscuits - Gallon sized Sweet Tea (I recommend getting this if you are ordering TO GO! Great deal and Sweet Tea is delicious!) I noticed a few kids, I'd say High School aged, who would go up to the counter and make up a lie about how they are missing food and the workers would get it for them. I brought this up to management as I know this is the time unfortunately horrible people take advantage of grand openings. I will say the chicken is really crispy and delicious! Biscuits were very buttery! The green beans weren't my favorite. Mash potatoes were very good as well. I'll give this another month and come back and try it. My wife had a sandwich for $11.39 which was somewhat better. The total with drinks was $20.78 . Popeye's was a very por food value, never to return. I have had much better experience at KFC. Very disappointed in this particular store. I am in general a fan of Popeyes having been a fan of the chicken and the red beans and rice for many years. I ordered a e 3 piece combo meal. My review: 1. Red beans and rice were not an option for the meal. First time I have seen that. Either coleslaw or fries only. 2. The coleslaw was actually pretty good. 3. The biscuit while warm was hard and dry. Had been under a heat lamp for a long time. 4. The 3 pieces of chicken (while tasty) were 2 legs and a thigh. Yep I am a fan of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen! Love me some Popeyes Fried Chicken. This location opened up a few months ago and has yet to recover form the Chicken Sandwich Fiasco. Tonight I got lucky no lines and still I had to wait. Seems the location staff has not been fully trained on how to service the public and the management has no clue on how to operate a fast food restaurant!. Beyond not so good service the chicken was good and the sides even better! I ordered the chicken tenders and to my surprise I actually received a few more than was on the order, my assumption was they were on the small size scale. Well.....For $14.77 (w/Tax) I purchased the 4pc combo with 1 Side and a Small Soft Drink. You may be able to purchase chicken individually or a combo...but it's not listed on the board. Bad #1 I order Beans and Rice....I am informed they are out! So I pick mashed potatoes....'eh, ok, typical slightly runny mashed potatoes expected at a fast food place. I also ask for an extra biscuit, which they got right (I did receive two) and the top item on their board catches my eye: Jalapeno 6 for $.99. Pull up to the window and my order is already together for me....no real wait. I look in to see a box of chicken with 2 biscuits and two containers which I'm assuming are my sides, and I get handed my soft drink. No receipt. I looked in the bag as I drove away...and I didn't feel like going back and waiting in line to get it. Today's Fast Food Workers: GIVE US OUR RECEIPTS! Just because you don't keep track of your checkbook doesn't mean that the majority of us eating at your grease joint aren't. I came here today after waiting a few days after the grand opening as I heard people were waiting up to 2.5 hours which is insane! To my surprise, the crazy line of vehicles were still lined up on the main road of Collier Blvd. which is a disaster waiting to happen for an accident. I decided to park across the street and walk in, but the lines inside were just as bad. I highly recommend you come inside and order since the drive thru lines will be a long wait. When it was my turn after about 30 minutes of waiting inside I was greeted though you callus instantly tell the cashier was very overwhelmed and rightfully so. I chose the 10 piece mixed box with 2 large sides and 6 biscuits, 10 piece chicken tenders and a soda to go. The food came out quickly which was a bonus at this point. When I looked at the receipt the order was inaccurate, but glad I had caught it early before I left and regretted it. When I went to the soda machine, the ice maker was completely empty. When I got home we ate and the chicken was delicious! The sides were perfect and buttery biscuits oh so good! Everyone was quite happy and glad they're here in Naples. Though there was a lot to pick at here today and pure chaos to say the least, it's understandable considering due to their grand opening. I did notice management was hustling as fast as they could to make sure tables were clean, orders placed quickly and food out to the customer as quickly as possible! I give them a lot of kudos for that and no amount of staff could've handled the amount of patrons flowing in by the numbers. How is this place still open. The drive thru was broken and when I went inside an hour before closing the girl working the register was eating and was pissed I interrupted her meal. I apologized and tried to order but they were out of a lot of things. I get shutting down rather than wasting product but be polite about it. Great location! It's relatively new, best looking Popeye's I've been to. Dining room clean and well designed, lots of booths and seating, plenty of parking. Service was friendly and food was prepared quickly. Went there to try the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Not as good as Chick-Fil-A's, but a close 2nd, it was excellent. The sandwich is bigger and crunchier than CFA's, same moist chicken, but it lacks the flavor that CFA's sandwich has. Still, it's a great chicken sandwich! Way better than what KFC and other fast food restaurants offer. When CFA is not available or is too busy, you should consider Popeye's chicken sandwich. read more

If i can write a 0 starts I would. Inside was closed at 8pm even though the door says it open till 10pm. I pulled up to the drive through and they said pull up to the window to order. So you better know what you want because you don't a sign to help you anymore. The lady at the window didn't want to be there and has a nasty attitude talking to me. They don't have fries like usual. The bag that we received our food in was so messed up like everything was just thrown inside it and not placed correctly so it doesn't spill everywhere. The other reviewers are trippin. Our family of five came for lunch and the food was really good. The breading was crispy on the tenders and the chicken sandwich was the best I've had. WAY better than any Chick Fil A I've ever had.
