Half full large Red Beans and Rice containers opened at home.

Very good food, my only complaint is they cheat you regarding servings. I ordered two Red Beans and Rice to go; when I arrived home I found that each container was barely over half full. Of course I'm sure the franchise knows that once home there's nothing you can do. But perhaps there is!

I was soooo stressed after reading the reviews for this location to even consider ordering anything. It turns out that this was the closest location to me and I didn't want to drive farther because the reviews for every location seemed just as bad. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I put in my mobile order of 9 signature pieces of spicy chicken. I customized the type and ordered 4 legs and 5 thighs. When I showed up the food was ready and the cashier was really nice. The store itself was clean and there was a worker sweeping up a tiny straw wrapper. The place seemed well maintained. I made sure to open my bag while I was still in the store and everything looked good and accurate. When I got to my car, I was still skeptical. What if they didn't give me spicy chicken? I had to taste it. So I grabbed a leg and took a bite. It was great. It was spicy. Fully cooked. Crunchy and still really warm. Thankfully, my experience ended up being great compared to some of the other reviewers. I'm grateful and would definitely recommend checking out this location.

Fun Facts: Most chain restaurants use an apostrophe in their name. Popeyes is without the apostrophe. The founder Alvin "Al" Copeland jokingly said they were "too poor" to afford the apostrophe. Al Copeland claimed he named Popeyes after the fictional Detective Jimmy "Popeyes" Doyle from the 1971 film French Connection. We've had Popeyes in Shanghai and Hong Kong and its really the best fast food fried chicken chain in the world. Their fried chicken is so juicy and crispy. It really does have the perfect blend of Louisiana spices. Its not overly salty and the skin is so deliciously fried you cannot stop eating the skin. Here's my rankings 1. Popeyes 2. KFC 3. Jollibee 4. Church's

I had a spider crawling in my food! The manager Stephanie was very rude when I was taking my order. She had an attitude right when I pulled up to the radio in the drive through. After taking a full bite of my tender, I noticed the small spider crawling in my tender box. I am disappointed because the food quality used to be better.

You call this a large coleslaw? Dont piss me off Popeyes im sick of this

The good: The people working at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. We took a while to order, and they were patient and courteous. They gave our kids free little light up chick toys that they absolutely loved and kept them entertained while we waited for our food! The bad: - The reason it took us so long to order was because they were seemingly out of half of their menu items. Everything we wanted to order was out of stock, so we settled on boneless chicken with fries and chicken gyoza - Something very important to note is that they primarily serve dark meat for the boneless chicken. Dark meat can have a pink/red color even when fully cooked. We had several pieces that looked so red that we didn't feel comfortable eating them because it just looked unappetizing how red it was and I didn't feel fully certain it was cooked because I don't carry around a food thermometer lol. But no one in our party got sick, so I assume it was cooked? I honestly don't know. -When we arrived, they were playing very loud, very explicit hip hop. I love hip hop myself and it would have been fine if our kids weren't with us, but with kids it was just kinda weird to be listening to very explicit lyrics at 10 AM lol. It wasn't just normal hip hop, it was like the extra explicit cut of some SoundCloud rapper. Eventually they changed it to very loud country music. Just weird vibes either way

On the screen it says "food takes 25-30min" I waited 50 min... There were at least 4 people waiting for their orders. Whenever one of us tried to talk to the server and as they were approaching, I could tell she was going to somewhere else like to the kitchen and intentionally tried not to give the eye contact with customers. The customer is next to you how can you not look at them...lol After almost an hour I got my food only to find that pickled radish was spoiled. Luckily I added an extra so it saved me. When I took out the container it was already full of gas and about to explode. When I opened it, smelled horrible like raw food left in the garbage disposal for weeks. (You can see how cloudy the juice is from the picture) Over all, I understand that this location has the worst review among other bb.q chicken in SGV, I'd choose other place next time. Food was good so 3 stars for that.

I only ever order takeout from this location and there's definitely things that could be improved. The location is on busy Colorado so parking is a nightmare. The workers here have absolutely no sense of urgency. Often I've been the only customer picking up and the speed of service could only be described as "meandering" to find and hand me my order. As previously mentioned, there's no issue with the food. It's juicy and flavorful. But there's inconsistencies like sometimes I get the side radish and utensils but other times not at all. The attitude of the workers you interact with are that of someone who has absolutely no pride in their work and are simply tolerating customers. It would go a long way to improve this location if workers were trained to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible. The cost is also astronomically high for chicken. A whole chicken is $31 before any taxes or fees. It's not competitive with other Korean fried chicken places and you have to imagine part of the cost is due to the location. I would be sad if this branch closed, since it is closest to where I live, but it wouldn't be a shock that it did close. There's a lot of low hanging easy changes that could be made. Better training from management, more local deals, and focusing on customer service.

Tender, juicy beef, delicious fries and sauce, white rice, red onions, and roasted red peppers. The Pollo à la Brasa was off the hook. We got a half chicken with fried plantains and Peruvian beans. Absolutely delectable. Chicken was juicy and tender with perfectly crisp skin. Seasoning was just right. Fried plantains were best I've ever had. Lightly fried with a moist and lightly sweet interior. We also tried an order of Papas Huancaina. The potatoes were perfectly tender, and the sauce had a nice little kick without being too much. Service was impeccable. People constantly checked on us on the patio. The World Cup was playing on two flatscreen TVs on the patio and two flatscreen TVs inside. Everyone here is happy! The tteokbokki was relatively small, given the price. And it was quite spicy, a little too spicy for me. I stopped by here around 7PM on a Sunday and thankfully was able to find street parking quickly (bonus--parking was free on Sundays). The menu is pretty simple but has all of the Thai standards like noodles, curry, and rice dishes. I opted for the Pad Thai, which was delicious. It came with chicken as well as two pieces of shrimp, and the portion was very generous. The food also came out in around 10 minutes, which I was very grateful for as I was pretty hungry when I ordered. The cafe is fairly casual and there were several people picking up takeout orders. Most dishes were under $20 which I think is very fair in this day and age. Definitely looking to return and trying some of their other dishes (fried rice looked good, maybe I'll try that next).

Their daily lunch special (11am -3pm) is one of the best deals around for only $14. It comes with your preferred protein entree, a side salad, white rice and your choice of 2 egg rolls or chicken potstickers. My favorite is their cashew nut chicken, extra spicy. The beef and broccoli is great too. The food is always flavorful, fresh and the portions are generous. They have a great menu with a lot of appetizers, soups, noodles and your favorite Thai dishes. They have a nice list of dessert options including mango sticky rice and homemade coconut Ice cream. Online ordering is available too but service is always fast and friendly. Street parking is no longer free in Pasadena as of 2026. Lots of paid parking in nearby lots. This is a must try spot for authentic and affordable Thai food in Pasadena's playhouse district.
