I'm generously giving this 3 stars when really it should be a 2.5 at best. The chicken was very dark, indicating oil that was too old. There was too much breading so the chicken was greasy. I ordered a two-piece chicken with small side and a thigh in addition. Instead of the second thigh I got a breast. It was quite a small breast so I can see how the mistake was made. I was soooo stressed after reading the reviews for this location to even consider ordering anything. It turns out that this was the closest location to me and I didn't want to drive farther because the reviews for every location seemed just as bad. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I put in my mobile order of 9 signature pieces of spicy chicken. I customized the type and ordered 4 legs and 5 thighs. When I showed up the food was ready and the cashier was really nice. The store itself was clean and there was a worker sweeping up a tiny straw wrapper. The place seemed well maintained. I made sure to open my bag while I was still in the store and everything looked good and accurate. When I got to my car, I was still skeptical. What if they didn't give me spicy chicken? I had to taste it. So I grabbed a leg and took a bite. It was great. It was spicy. Fully cooked. Crunchy and still really warm. Craving quick fried chicken. Placed mobile order to be ready at 1:45 pm. Went inside to pick up my order at said time and found one employee taking orders and the others preparing food so I stood in line. Found myself at front of the line but order-taking employee did not acknowledge me and walked away so I just stood there waiting for a good five minutes. Finally had to speak up saying I have a mobile order, manager says it is not ready yet they are busy but gets crew to prepare. Waited another 15 minutes and was handed the bag by first employee and wasn't asked if I needed anything else, but instead walked away (probably her thing). Checked my order which included biscuits yet was without honey sauce. Waited again and had to flag someone down again to ask for it. In the end I waited a total of 30 minutes for a mobile order and walked out at 2:15pm. I probably should not expect much service from a Popeyes and they probably were swamped but more likely poorly managed and poor hiring. They definitely are good at ignoring people and making excuses. When I got home, i called about the missing part of the order. They put me on hold and then hung up on me 10 minutes later. Came on Friday night did a Mobil order pick up waited in my car for the a worker to bring my food to the car which he said he would, the app doesn't say when the food is gonna be done so this isn't something on them, but they did say they would bring it out once done, I went inside asking for my order they said about 7 minutes to which I said no worries walked out and waited in my car he rest of the time. I gave them a good amount of time and waited patiently cause again they said they would bring it out, two different workers said they would bring it out. To which I waited 20 minutes never came out so I walked in and when I walked in the worker at the window saw me and said "you haven't gotten your food" to witch I said no and made a face. This is the worst location I have ever been to. I had a mobile order pick-up scheduled for a certain time. Basically, I ordered 3 hours before pick-up time. When I arrived at the drive-through, this lady said they ran out of the chicken that I wanted, and it would take 15 minutes to make it, and I should park on the side, and they would bring it out. I said, "How so? It's scheduled; you should see that, and the chicken should be prepared already." But I waited. 25 minutes passed by, and no one showed up. So I went inside. There were no lines at the drive-thru, so I opted to just stay in the car and order. I'm not too familiar with Popeyes and know that their spicy chicken sandwiches are the bomb. But fried chicken is what I came for, so ordered an eight piece box with biscuits and macaroni and cheese. I usually avoid coming here during peak business hours (lunch and dinner) because the lot will be full very quickly, and the wait times for your food can be long. So I usually just park on the street, and walk on over here. Food: I ordered the chicken sandwich. The Popeyes chicken sandwich is a fried chicken sandwich on a soft bun. It comes with pickles and mayo, although you can have them removed if you prefer. The chicken sandwich looks great - it comes with a pretty large piece of chicken, so you're definitely getting a filling meal. The breading looked nice and crunchy, and it smelled delicious. I asked for them to grill the bun till it was a bit burnt to try it. I loved it. The chicken was juicy and flavorful without being too greasy. The breading gives it a great flavor and crunch, and I was impressed with the quality of the chicken itself. The chicken didn't look or taste like a mass produced, uniform chicken patty like fast food often does. The bun was soft and the pickles and mayo added the extra crunch and flavor it needed. Even without many toppings, this is a great chicken sandwich! All in all, I was impressed with Popeyes chicken sandwich - it's an excellent fried chicken sandwich and offers great value for the price. The sandwich on its own is pretty large. They are very confused when you're picking up mobile orders from their own App. I have rewards points so I get items free sometimes in the App. I go to Popeyes and pick up the order based on the user name in the App. They're so confused sometimes, and it takes asking three times to get your order. First, it was chaos inside.. many people obviously ill or under trained going many different directions.. I was told that if I wanted certain items on the menu, it would be an additional 10 mins. Even though I didn't order anything special, I was asked to park in the lot and someone would bring my order out..
