Long story short, I ordered in the drive thru, they were having constant issues with the card machine not working. Employee that took my order told me I was good to go, at this moment I assumed there were no issues. Once I got to the window to receive my food they told me I had to pay again because first payment didn't go through. Payment did go through and was reflected on my account. I parked and went inside, spoke to Manager Blain. He mentioned I did have to pay for the 2nd time as first payment would be refunded. Sat in my car for a while trying to get in contact with my bank. This location is notorious for constantly messing up my order. They probably owe me at least $80 in missed items. I understand lines are long. Businesses may be understaffed, but every time I come here, I'm always missing a fry, a sandwich, a Coke. I think this building needs better structure and guidance act like they don't care. We ate inside Chick-fil-A for the first time today (have done drive through many times) and received AMAZING service from the time we walked in to the time we left! We were greeted immediately when we arrived but we weren't quite ready to order so they said they would be ready when we were. I appreciate that the children's meals offered fruit and Honest Kids apple juice which is a healthier option than other fast food restaurants. The order taker was very pleasant and welcoming, took the order accurately and offered to help carry things to the table since we were juggling young children. They are soft opening now, 6/22/23 is their actual grand opening! Soft opening is open to the public at various times drive through only. For friends and family they are giving out biscuits and sandwiches and sometimes free parfait. Yes a little bit slow in the ordering process but this soft opening so they're in training mode. I believe they just opened about two weeks ago, so it seems like the workers are still in training mode. Also, nowhere does it mention that there is only ONE entrance on Lake. There is no entrance on Boylston, so don't even bother turning down that street (dead end). I came here for a late-ish breakfast, and to my surprise the drive-thru line was fairly busy. I ordered the egg white grill, chicken biscuit, and sausage egg and cheese biscuit. From the time I ordered until I left, it took around 12 minutes. Definitely don't expect the service to be fast right now, because they are still trying to get used to the job. First time at this location and not a good experience. There are 2 lanes and I happened to choose lane 1. There was one car ahead of me and a few cars in lane 2. The car infront of me ordered and left then I hear the order taker ask lane 2 what they'd like to order. They ordered and left so I was ready to order but I hear the guy talking to lane 2.
