After that, we went to the window and got our food, but when we ordered, 2 of the meals got ranch, and one got honey mustard. When we opened the bag, there were four honey mustards and not a single ranch. So I had to go inside to pay extra for the ranches that I had already ordered. So I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich,fries and coke The white meat breast on the sandwich was juicy,crispy and flavorful. The bun was warm,toasted and soft. I like the sandwich and wouldn't hesitate getting it again. The fries are also spicy and crispy. As far as comparing it to other fast food chicken sandwiches,I think it's a matter of what type you want. This is as good as the others. I live approximately a half a mile from this Popeyes. I have lived in this neighborhood since 1990 and ever since this Popeyes been here this has been my Popeyes. However recently the last three times I've been here it's been horrible, absolutely horrible. Now I go to the other Popeyes, which is approximately maybe 4 miles away. I've been to this location quite many times to have a good pulse on how it is. This location doesn't honor their hours at all. Once I swung by when it was supposed to be open and nobody responded. No one opened the door and no one responded in drive-thru. I called them repeatedly and when I finally got someone to answer, they said "oh sorry, we have a meeting so we're not open today". And then when you do actually place an order, you can't understand the staff at all and also it's anybody's guess if they understand what you're saying when you try to talk to them too. Need to resort to body language and hand gestures to get any compliance or reciprocation. The service here is really slow too. I get it if they're cooking their food fresh and that is the reasoning but nobody's provided any evidence that's the case. The onus has to be on whomever is running this establishment. Pretty bad experience today. I placed an online order and went inside to pick it up. I had asked for spicy chicken, and after waiting about ten minutes (unable to communicate with the employee handling online orders because she didn't speak English and kept trying to give me classic chicken instead of spicy), the manager (I assume) told me it would be seven minutes before the spicy chicken was done. I said I would wait and sat down in the dining room. After 25 minutes, an employee brought me my order. I had to remind him that I also had a drink. When I got home, I found that they had neglected to include my mashed potatoes and gravy, so I just had chicken and a biscuit. This Popeye's is awful. I went there for a fily meal. The tenders were supposed to be 1/2 spicy, 1/2 plain. Instead, 1/2 were raw, the other 1/2 were overcooked and they had the faint smell of shrimp (old oil). What a waste of food, because my family couldn't eat it. What is it about Popeye's? Why are they ALWAYS so screwed up? Why does the drive-through not move? Why don't they open up their dining rooms? Their doors are always locked, even though there's no longer any reason for it (except that they don't want to bus their tables). And above all: why do they CONSTANTLY screw up my orders? I've eaten at Popeye's all over the Texas and in L.A., and I'm telling you they are always, always screwed up. Obviously there is no one at Corporate in charge of enforcing standards; or, if there is, he/she should be fired immediately; sterilization might also be in order. Last time visiting this trash location, 1 star is too high for this location. The GM for this location must not give a damn about this store. I order thru the app, they always ask who the order is for at the speaker, get to the window for them to ask me again. Get asked to pull up to the door theyd bring my food out, end up backing up to the window after about 10 min, finally get my food. Get home, all the food is cold, and hard and chewy. NEVER NEVER NEVER order delivery from this location. Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. I've received at least 3 horrible (not just bad, horrible) orders. I'm convinced they send the oldest food out for delivery since they don't have to personally deal with the complaint. I never receive my entire order. This time it was missing a drink, last time a side, time before that a pie. The biscuits were hard, dry, and tasted like actual paper. Inedible. The chicken was clearly refried from earlier today and so was the shrimp. I've tried to call the restaurant for every horrible order and the phone just rings and rings. NOBODY ever answers... EVER. I've done complaints on the website, no resolution... EVER. Unfortunately there are no other Popeyes in my area so, I can't just order from another one. I dont care of what anyone says, I'm always down for some Popeye's spicy chicken. It's the best! What's not the best is their customer service at this specific location. 1) They're always short on staff. You have the main person taking orders in drive-thru and lobby. So they're having to go back and forth. This doesnt help to get the lines down. 2) When it's FINALLY your turn to order, the lady (the one I get) turns with her ass sticking out, hand in that carrying a trey stance because she wants to show off her new nails, face all duck faced, and rolls her eyes. No greeting whatsoever. Just stand there waiting for you to say something. 3) I guess napkins is a hot commodity because they never have any in the lobby area. The one or two flimsy ass napkins that are given are not going to serve me well with all that chicken grease. 4) Oh, dont let them get your order wrong because they'll look at you like you're the one that bagged that order wrong. I had the worst service ever at this Popeyes. I initially went through the drive-through and that guy was friendly and great. However, when I got back to my office to eat my lunch, I noticed the chicken was rubbery when I bit into it and when I looked at it, it was a little pink and not cooked thoroughly. So, I had eaten a few of the fries and half of the biscuit. I immediately stopped eating and said I would go back after work to tell them about it. I was treated horribly. They didn't want to replace the meal and the manager, Maria, said she would only replace the chicken tenders because I ate half of the fries and biscuit. I was in disbelief, after wasting my time and gas, not being able to eat my lunch due to undercooked poultry that could have made me sick and she wouldn't replace the entire meal. It gets even worse. She grabbed the chicken tender that I had bitten into and eaten half of and picked it apart to see if it was rubbery, I assume, without any gloves on. I went back into the restaurant and told Maria, I wanted fries, because I had fries in the box she tossed in the trash can. She literally went in the trash can to try and give me the fries that were in my original box that I returned. I came unglued. I told her, I dare her to try to give me fries from a box in the trash can. She proceeded to count the fries from the box and give me that exact amount in a small box.
