This is not the first time this has happened. When I order a spicy chicken, they often give me a regular one. This time, I ordered a spicy chicken, and once again they gave me a regular one. I drove 20 minutes back to return it because I couldn't eat it -- it was nasty. When I returned it and asked for the correct order, the manager became extremely hostile and started screaming at me to leave. She did not give me any time to exit the premises instead, she followed me outside and verbally assaulted me, trying to provoke a fight. She came extremely close to my face I could literally feel spit coming from her mouth as she yelled. When I tried to get into my car, she followed me to my vehicle. I was genuinely scared for my safety because of how aggressively and closely she approached me to provoke a fight The entire staff came outside, leaving other customers waiting, just to stand there and watch her assault me. I had no choice but to call 911 for help . When she realized this, she also called the police and began approaching me again, trying to get to my car while my kids were inside. She only stopped when I took out my phone to record her for my protection. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. read more

Very poor, slow service. Rude employees that let you stand at the counter 10 + minutes without speaking to you. When they do speak to you they have a very poor attitude. It is ALWAYS this way! You would think that with all of the bad reviews, management or owners would take notice and do something about it. Since they want to delete my review on google, I'll write it here too. DO NOT GO HERE! This is one of the most degenerate Popeyes I've ever been to and this is not the first time they've treated customers awful. I called for a online order through Doordash and waited 1 and a half hours only for my order to be cancelled. I was assigned 4 different drivers and only one managed to respond to me saying my order was already issued (it wasn't, why would they keep requesting drivers to come pick up my order if it was already issued???) And I called the restaurant multiple times only to be told by a rude woman that they couldn't help me because they do not handle "third party orders". Which is a LIE because how can they not see orders come through and how were they able to cancel the order they apparently could not handle?? This place genuinely sucks and has a track record of being consistently awful with messing up orders despite having tons of people in the kitchen. I called them again and asked why were they giving food to random people without verifying the order and she said "have a great day" and hung up on me. None of my drivers were able to pick up from this establishment and Doordash had to report them because they could not figure out why was my order not being picked up. The last 2 times I've been there, managers were arguing with their younger staff, the bathroom was horrendous and should've been health code violated, and they do not understand a combo comes with a drink so I had to remind them to give me two cups for me and my guest because the cashier was so focused on trying to find the total which should be on their screen. The employees need to be FIRED. And I know the owner is seeing my reviews because they deleted my comment on Google. Don't give me that automated response BS, give me the DIRECT line of HR so I can escalate this issue accordingly because I'm not spending another cent here until I get an apology to whoever was on the phone because that was extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. You work at a fast food joint for gods sake, have some class!!! The owner and everyone who works there needs to be retrained on service etiquette. read more

Went thru drive-thru at this location like many other times ordered that huge yummy chicken sandwich, only this time once home I was very disappointed. The bun was old and hard , and the chicken must have been cooked hours earlier as it was cold, dried out and just not good. This sandwich didn't deteriorate that fast as I only live about six minutes away if that. I have always enjoyed my food from this location, but this particular day was rough. What is with the people that work at Popeye's seriously did they all wake up on the wrong side of the bed. I went to the door and both doors were locked. I pulled and it didn't open. When I went through drive thru the lady at the drive thru has the audacity to say that like if I didn't pull the door and I know for a fact that I pulled the door. Avoid at all costs. When we arrived most of the staff was sitting at tables around the corner in the back of the store. Only one person was up front. Our order was incomplete when they gave it to us. When we went back up to get the missing items, no one would wait on us. Finally the girl on the cash register came over and got our remaining food with her non-gloved hands after handling money. When we got back to the table, the order was still wrong and after finally getting the rest of our food on the third try and asking for sauces, a lady from the back came up and picked up sauces for us and her hands were wet and covered in flour presumably from handling raw chicken. Wow! Just went there for lunch at 12:30. Absolutely nasty, chicken was fresh and hot but about gagged from the filth inside the restaurant. There was NO ice, so drinks were hot. I went to the drive through to pick up the advertised hush puppy butterfly shrimp meal. I ordered two. Total cost with tax $20.31. After a total of 31 minutes, I finally had my two meals. I was asked to pull up and wait for my meals, which I did. After approximately 15 minutes of waiting ( after already waiting in line about ten minutes ) I went in side in pouring rain. They didn't even remember me, thankfully I had my receipt that I'd paid. After waiting another five minutes they pulled my order. I did look in my bag to make sure there were two meals but didn't open them and look. When I got home and checked the boxes they had crumbs in them. I believe each box had maybe 3 whole shrimp in them and they where popcorn shrimp not butterfly. There were bits and pieces in the boxes but certainly not worth the price or the wait I had. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The amount of time I waited and being forgotten could have been forgiven but the pathetic excuse for a meal, no way. And I'm a very open person when it comes to trying new eateries but not when I find something on a menu I really like. So naturally I gravitated to a chicken piece meal and was surprised at the fact that they gave me one Drummie. That was a good start!!! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the Cajun seasonings were great too nice lil kick.My sides were red beans and rice,and cajun fries. I did not care for the fries but I'm picky will give them a 3 on a 5 scale. The red beans and rice are super good. But lastly the biscuits!!! Both the mild & spicy are DELICIOUS, the breading is ALWAYS crispy (compared to KFC's soggy Original Recipe), and the chicken itself is of a MUCH higher quality than the chicken used elsewhere.
