    Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict

Popping Yolk is one of my favorite brunch spots - lots of variety of brunch items on their menu, cute and cozy decor, friendly service, and delicious food! Their eggs benedict menu is what they're known for, and it has so many unique options. The Nashville hot chicken benedict is a personal favorite. The chicken stays crunchy even after the yolk breaks, and the slaw tucked between the chicken and the english muffin ties it all together really well. The potatoes on the side are crispy and really fun to eat, and the salad is a nice touch too. Just a really solid breakfast spot with a lot of variety and consistently good food. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

The service here is great, the workers are all very attentive and nice. You can sit anywhere inside or outside after paying and there's lots of shade if you were to sit outside. You really get a bang for your buck with the potted plant latte in regard to the size of the actual container (super cute like a vase!). However, I thought the overall latte was a bit underwhelming. Not bad, but it's just an average caramel latte with half-and-half. I was not the biggest fan of the smoked salmon omelette. My friend really enjoyed hers with a side of the homestyle potatoes, however, mine was underdone. I'm not sure if that's intentional but I was under the impression that the salmon would be smoked as insinuated and more well-done. Besides that, I did not care for the overall composition of the omelette itself. Egg was not seasoned nor were the mushrooms and spinach. It's ok with hot sauce added, but without add ons, i would not order this again.

Popping Yolk Brea is Popping!! Great service, the place is clean and the food delish!!! Ordered ube pancake, popping yolk burger and cowboy burger. Their ube latte did not disappoint. Excellent customer service, we were greeted as soon as we came in and friendly servers keep coming back for drink refills. So kind. Lively music and vibin. Lots of parking space. They have outdoor seating as well. Come and dine at Popping Yolk Cafe in Brea!!

We came here for Sunday breakfast. You order at the counter and sit anywhere you'd like. They have plenty of patio seating. Food was great. The Nutella banana pancake was delicious! It was moist and not overly sweet. The fried chicken sandwich was good. Potatoes were perfectly done.. just how we requested well done! Service was very friendly and very attentive. We would return!

Super glad Popping Yolk is now in Brea! I had only been to the Pasadena location before. I had a little brunch date with my sister here and we had such a great time! She enjoyed the florentine benedict, which had all her favorite things such as a poached egg with spinach and mushroom. I had the classic breakfast and fell in love with their scrambled eggs! So yummy, with a great light, fluffy texture! Service was super friendly as well. You pay at the counter and then choose where to sit afterwards with a number. Excited to return again in the future!

Pretty yums! We've been here twice now and I highly recommend coming here on the earlier side. We've been here both times around 9/9:30am and it's much less crowded! Our favorite item has been the kimchi butter chicken eggs Benedict - yummy! The sweet items are a little less delicious, and our toddler is a fan of the popcorn chicken and breakfast potatoes. Order at the counter and the bring your food and water out to you. We've sat outside both times (easier with two kiddos and a stroller) and it's been great! Parking in the lot can get kinda crazy but at 9am there's plenty of parking. Food can take a while to come out when it's busy but it was pretty quick when the place was mostly empty. Would come back!

Quick service, lots of fun & UNIQUE food options, great amount of food for the price, and good food. You order with the cashier and then pick a table - it isn't a "sit down" spot. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Kind workers. Restrooms are available inside as well. I ordered their Ham & Cheese Omelette and it was HUGE and filling. I also ordered their EGG COFFEE (aka ICED SPANISH LATTE W/ EGG COLD FOAM) and it was delicious! I want to come back and try their Pancakes next!

Good solid burger and the side salad and fries were good and crispy. Great service you order in the front and grab a number and take a seat . Cute decor went on a Friday morning and there was no wait . Plenty of seating inside and outside . Would definitely come back again

Everything was delicious!! Great customer service too! Ordered the Kimchi chicken Egg Benedict, Ube stuffed French toast, egg sandwich, and popcorn chicken. The Kimchi chicken Benedict was delicious! The kimchi wasn't overpowering at all! The chicken was crispy and juicy. I ordered the hollandaise sauce on the side. It was buttery but good. Enjoyed how they serve side potatoes and salad. The Ube French toast had shredded coconut and they were fried so they were nice and crispy. The popcorn chicken was just that: popcorn chicken. Nothing special. My friend had the egg sandwich and she said it was good. Overall, I would recommend and would return! It's in a strip mall so plenty of parking.

This place is super cute. Parking totally sucks because they're right next to in and out and fogo de chao but once you do find parking they have lots of seating. There's a lot of food and drink options. The Norwegian Benedict was great. My daughter inhaled their breakfast sandwhich and their classic breakfast came with a really good amount of food. Service is a 10. You order at the front and they bring everything out for you. You have condiments and napkins at the table already.

Went to Popping Yolk Cafe before work today and can say the service was a pleasant surprise. I asked for a recommendation and they were willing to work with me until I settled on the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Prices are a bit steep but expected for a cafe of this nature. Expect to spend about $15-25/person. You get what you pay for. The interior is beautiful, theres music constantly playing at a volume that isn't too loud for you to have conversation, but helps fill in the awkward silence if you aren't. As for the food, I love it. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich comes with a salad and a side of potatoes. The potatoes are the perfect delicious crunch I needed, the sandwich is phenomenal, and the salad is exactly what is needed to cut through all of the heavy carbs. I left feeling full and satisfied. 100% would recommend this place as a go-to. But if your budget doesn't allow that, a one-and-done is definitely worth a shot!

Bacon and Cheese Sandwich w/ cajun fries

I got the bacon and egg cheese sandwich and upgraded to cajun fries. Both were really good. I would have preferred a more gooey cheese for the sandwich though. My friend really liked the ube pancakes. The only thing we weren't too crazy about was the popcorn chicken, but I would come back again and try other things. Service was nice. My group sat in the patio and employees went around offering water and coffee. One of my friends did ask for a box but never received it.

    Ube French Toast. Yum!!!

The bacon arrived after only about five minutes, and the pancake only took a few minutes longer. The Dutch Baby comes with a generous serving of lemon wedges and a bowl of powdered sugar. I drench it with lemon and top it with a little bit of powdered sugar, and it's so good. I love the crisp edges, and it is pretty filling. The bacon is a little thicker than at most places, and the four slices almost cover the entire small plate. Next time, I would ask for it to be cooked a little more to give some more crisp. It was very good though, and not greasy at all. Missy was very friendly and checked on me often. If you pay the bill using cash, there is a small discount.

It's kind of like a skillet, except you have full control of how much of each items goes into it. Normally I don't like a ton of gravy in this ritual, but something about the gravy and sausage at Paul's Country Kitchen made this Grand Finale especially delicious. I mean--the Char's Country Plate was good in itself. I've had something similar at the nearby Mr. D's with its two sausage patties on a biscuit covered in gravy along with eggs and hash browns. I think the version at Paul's was a bit better. Every bite was a delight. But I think the best bites were reserved when I got that bit a sausage and gravy into the mix with the hash browns and perfectly cooked eggs. Grand Finales are usually a joy, but this one was especially joyous. Also, noticeable was the great service here. I found the servers personable and discerning. They managed to give out good recommendations, answer any questions about the offerings, and still hold good conversation. That's rare at any food joint you go to. Not only that, they held down the fort when it came to refills, getting my order out quickly, and dropping the bill off when it came time. The personal touch here is impeccable. Lastly, the ambience is great here. The space is kind of limited, but they had plenty of booths and tables, 2-tops and 4-tops, and counter space. Everything was decorated brightly without seeming gaudy, and it gave off a welcoming feeling that is traditional with all local diners. I wouldn't mind eating in a place like this regularly. In conclusion, I think I found a new place to have breakfast. Not only that, I think I found a new place to recommend to others when I want to point out what makes a good diner/coffee shop.
