I came here for the first time for lunch. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and got a brownie. The cheesesteak was ok. I mean, it's a cheesesteak. I've had worse and I've had much better. The brownie was actually really good. But at $4 per brownie I feel the pieces were small. Really nice people, the cashier was very patient with me while I decided what to get. The caprice salad was outstanding, right amount of ingredients and straight up delicious. I had the wicked cold roast beef on rye. The roast beef was nice & rare, the horseradish cream sauce made from scratch was out of this world. Not too garlicky and not too horseradish. Overall an outstanding place to eat. Pop's Subs has been on my radar for a few months after seeing them open in my neighborhood and following on Instagram. I went for the first time yesterday and got a Buffalo chicken but on a salad instead of a sub. The portion was big, salad was fresh and overall it was very tasty! My one complaint was that the chicken was a tad salty, but that isn't going to stop me from going back and trying more things. The owner was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. EXCELLENT SANDWICH! I tried the Guava Pulled Pork and it was perfectly balanced. Sweet, barbecuey sauce, savory pork, fresh arugula chicken perfectly sharp & flavorful cheese. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, food was good. Only thing I did not like was that in the kitchen they were cooking and handling the food with no gloves. The guy that was cutting my sub had his entire hand (no gloves) on the sub while cutting it. I think they should wear gloves and hairnets read more

At first I thought it was an ice cream place because of old memories of the TCBY that used to be there and a big sign that read POP'S. This place is not that. What it is though is a great sandwich shop. My wife loves sandwiches and can be picky at times. I live around the corner so I was hoping this place wouldn't disappoint. It did the opposite. I was pleasantly surprised. The honey mustard chicken sub was really good. The chicken enchilada soup was amazing. The French grilled cheese was great although I wish it was bigger. I was nervous the moment I walked into an empty shop and the staff just looked at me like a deer in headlights. The menu looked good with plenty of options, so I pushed forward and ordered the Little Italy. The two out front didn't know how to ring me up or make the sandwich, so someone from the back had to come out to help them. The sandwich was made at a snails pace, but I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind much. Price was fair so no problem there either. The issue, and reason for the 2 stars is the actual taste of the sandwich. First word that comes to mind is BLAND!! Bread tasted a little stale (crumbled when bitten) and the sandwich lacked any type of moisture (although the menu states it has 2 different sauces). The arugula was completely dry and undressed and only a very thin layer of turkey. There was more bread than meat...and I thought this was a Subway type of thing. I work right down the street so I really wanted to love this place, however sadly I won't be back. read more
