Ohhhh, this is *perfect* material for the kind of review you described yesterday: honest, quirky, a…read morelittle funny, but not "I DEMAND TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER." The strongest part of your story is the escalating absurdity: **V-shaped toenails Dremel aggressive cuticle attack you simply evacuating the premises.** I'd lean into that. **Title: Nail Salon Review** I hadn't been to this salon in over a year after a pretty poor mani/pedi experience, but yesterday convenience got the better of me. Spoiler alert: I should have trusted my original instincts. I was greeted quickly, picked out my polish, sat down, and the tech immediately started clipping my toenails. And when I say clipping, I mean she proceeded to carve every single toenail into a sharp little inverted V. Each time she made another slash, she'd ask, "Does that hurt?" Yes. But apparently I was committed to the experience, so I kept telling myself, *I can do this.* Then came the Dremel. Now, I am a **regular polish girl**. There was absolutely no reason for power tools to enter this situation, so I politely asked her not to use it on my feet. A few minutes later, she moved on to my cuticles and started attacking them with an enthusiasm that felt wildly disproportionate to the task at hand. And that's when I decided: *You know what? I actually don't have to do this.* So I got up, pulled my feet out of the water, put my sandals back on, and walked right out. I have never actually abandoned a pedicure before, but there's a first time for everything. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Sometimes convenience is just not worth it--and apparently neither are toenails shaped like tiny Doritos.

It's small, as Anouska B. mentioned there are two pedicure chairs and four nail stations. I havn't had my nails done, but I have had two pedicures and I was pretty satisfied each time. I'm always extremely grateful to anyone who has to put up with my polish-chipped hooves, and the ladies here have always been friendly and never seem off-put by having to spend a little extra time smoothing down the rough spots. During the pedi I got yesterday at one point the lady held up my foot and gleeful declared "no callouses!!" giving me reason to clap my hands and squeal with delight (after a long winter of boot-wearing I was SHOCKED to receive this news.) Is this salon going to blow you away with cutting edge equipment and stunning decor? No. Are they going to give you a pretty and decently priced pedicure? Yes.
