I absolutely love Pork Chop John's the food is great. But my last couple visits have been ruined by one particularly nasty waitress. This waitress is rude in every way, the way she spoke to me and then the way she spoke to her coworkers. I would have walked out had the cook at the time not made up for her rudeness. He was extremely nice and apologized for her behavior. Any time I go in and she is there I turn around and walk out if I have to deal with her or ask for someone else. I don't know if this is prudent but I believe her name was Angel..kinda hard to forget. People if you have to deal with her ask for someone else. There are several that will go above and beyond to make things better. I would increase my rating if I didn't have to deal with her. read more

Good burgers good price. I ordered the pork chop sandwich as it was a local thing. It was OK, reminded me a little bit of school lunch sandwiches years ago ha ha. I was a bit put off from another review, but I decided to go after the Sunday lunch crowd. The outside does nothing to really attract you. Inside was neat and looked freshly wiped clean (looked better than outside). The staff at the counter were quick to help (and put away their phones) as soon as I came in. I choose the deluxe (- mayo) and some onion rings to go.'The sandwich was delicious and the rings well done. I had heard how great pork chop johns, however I was not that impressed. The sandwich was good not great. Also I was supposed to get fries with my meal and they forgot to give them to me so I had to go back up to get them. Growing up in Butte, Pork Chop John's was a regular stop. However after moving away 20 years ago we were really looking forward to their famous pork chop sandwich during a recent visit. What a disappointment. The restaurant is dirty and run down, the food handlers don't wear gloves, they use their sweat shirts as towels and change extra for every condiment! As with both food places we attended this was a recommendation from the hotel. When we got to Porkchop John's it was nice to see the food was good but the service was lackluster. Kids were sitting on the counters where food was being served and they didn't seem real excited to be there. It was also 25 cents for ranch, this seemed excessive. Decided to stop in on the way past Butte as I have heard of their "famous" pork chop sandwiches. What I got was a preformed breaded patty straight from FSA or Sysco and thrown in the fryer and put on a hamburger bun. Insanely diaappointed that they aren't even cubing and breading their own pork chops when that is what they tout themselves for. On top of that the soda from the fountain was weak and tasted mostly of chlorine. Don't waste your time stopping, not much better than gas station food. read more

Was just there (Uptown location) July 5th. Had the double pork chop sandwich. Don't get the hype. It's wasn't bad, but it also wasn't noteworthy. And that cheap, yellow mustard simply doesn't cut it. Charge $0.25 more and use something that doesn't look died an eerie and has real flavor to it. We took out of town guests for lunch. We ordered kids meals for the kids and did not get the right food. Had to go back twice to order the chicken nuggets and we were short two large orders and the two kids meals fries. Food was cold when we got it. Employees were yelling at each other. Cash register wouldn't work, so employees were telling customers to go through the drive through. Customers were having to wipe the tables off. Management should have had the store better staffed on a weekend when there were so many people in town. We will think twice before going there again. Horrible dining experience. read more

I have been going their since I was a kid.I used to go with my dad and even as an adult we went. I cant wait to stop by and get one for my daughter too. My kids have had their food to and loved it;) The withdrawal thing is true I crave a good loaded chop and its been years. Always fresh:) read more
