Today was my first visit to the Service Department at Porsche Riverside, and it reaffirmed why I chose to return as a customer after purchasing my Porsche here a year ago. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by my service advisor, Henry Quezada, who was friendly, approachable, and genuinely focused on providing an exceptional customer experience. Henry took the time to clearly explain the entire service process, answered my questions thoroughly, and provided an accurate estimate of the wait time. What impressed me most was that he never attempted to upsell or recommend unnecessary services. Instead, he demonstrated honesty and integrity throughout the visit. At the completion of the service, Henry even applied a coupon that I wasn't aware was available, saving me money without me having to ask. That level of transparency and customer care is rare these days. Henry truly goes above and beyond to deliver outstanding service, and his commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in everything he does. I was also extremely impressed with the quality of the work performed by the service technician. I believe his name was Manny. My vehicle was returned to me in better condition than when I brought it in. It was clear that the technician took great pride in their work and treated my Porsche as if it were their own. That level of care, attention to detail, and respect for a customer's vehicle is something that deserves recognition and is not often found elsewhere. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised that Javier, Eric, and Alexis still remembered me from my vehicle purchase a year ago. Each of them approached me with a warm smile and took the time to engage in friendly conversation. Their ability to remember customers long after a sale speaks volumes about the culture at Porsche Riverside. It demonstrates a genuine commitment to building lasting relationships and providing a personalized experience that makes customers feel valued and appreciated. I am compelled to write this review to bring attention to the unacceptable and deeply disappointing service I received from William Barbaro at Porsche Riverside. On October 5th, I brought in two vehicles--my 718 Cayman and 2024 Cayenne--for service. While I have always had positive experiences with the dealership, my recent interactions with William Barbaro have been nothing short of abysmal. In my years as a loyal Porsche Riverside customer, I have never encountered such blatant disregard for professionalism, customer service, or basic respect. William Barbaro's attitude was rude, dismissive, and entirely unbefitting of someone in a customer-facing role. His lack of consideration and complete failure to deliver even the most basic level of courtesy and respect reflects terribly on the service department. The issues began during the vehicle drop-off on October 5th. From the start, William displayed a complete lack of professionalism in handling my requests, but I chose to overlook it at the time, hoping it was a one-time lapse in judgment. Unfortunately, things escalated when I returned to pick up my vehicles on October 9th at 10:15 a.m. When I received my 718 Cayman, I immediately noticed that the key fob was damaged. My wife and I both witnessed William drop the keys while hurriedly processing our paperwork. Instead of taking responsibility for his mistake, William's response was defensive and condescending. He insisted that he would check the surveillance footage to "prove" that he hadn't dropped the keys, rather than simply addressing the damage like a professional. This behavior is inexcusable and demonstrates his unwillingness to take ownership of his errors. Additionally, when I inspected my Cayenne, I found a significant scratch on the interior panel of the area that had been serviced. Once again, William made no attempt to rectify the situation or offer any solution, further proving his complete disregard for customer satisfaction. It is clear that William Barbaro lacks the fundamental qualities required for a service advisor. His unprofessionalism, defensive attitude, and overall disrespect for me as a customer are disgraceful. As someone who has consistently relied on Porsche Riverside for years, this experience has been an eye-opener and has severely damaged my trust in the service department. Thankfully, I was able to escalate the issue to the Service Manager, Dan Tow, who acted with the professionalism and care that I expect from a dealership of this caliber. Dan has taken steps to address my concerns, and I appreciate his efforts. However, I urge Porsche Riverside to take immediate action regarding William Barbaro's conduct. His behavior is unacceptable, and it is my hope that no other customer has to endure such a demeaning and disrespectful experience. read more

I recently transitioned from driving a Tesla Y and a Mercedes EQS, so I wasn't initially considering a Porsche. However, I decided to reach out to John Beech at Porsche Riverside to inquire about any specials on the Taycan's after hearing about their excellent lease deals. I honestly didn't expect much, assuming Porsche catered more to high-end customers and that an "average Joe" like me might be overlooked. To my surprise, John was incredibly attentive and professional. He called me to discuss a demo Taycan Turbo available on a high-mileage, short-term lease that fit both my budget and daily needs perfectly. Since Riverside was about an hour and half away from me, John went the extra mile by sending detailed videos of the car and helping me lock in the deal remotely. He handled everything from gathering my information to running a credit check and preparing the documents so that when I arrived later that evening, everything was ready to go. When I got to the dealership, the car was prepped, washed, and waiting out front for a thrilling test drive. Although I was already sold, the test drive sealed the deal. John was friendly, professional, and never pushy throughout the entire process. While I waited to meet with finance, he sat with me, chatting about life in a genuine and personal way, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I also appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks available at the counter. Chris Calocer in the Finance department was equally impressive. He was friendly, courteous, and walked me through all the paperwork with care, which was a pleasant surprise considering the stereotype of finance managers. Overall, my experience at Porsche Riverside was exceptional. From start to finish, John and the team made me feel valued and well cared for. Unlike other Porsche dealerships I've visited, where I felt overlooked, this team truly stood out. I can't wait to contact John again when my lease is up to see what other great deals he might have. We negotiated discount and buy rate on a Cayman GTS after SA ran our credit application. Two things happened after that. The first one was the SA was trying to switch our build 3 times to later ones. We caught that and made him corrected it. The 2nd one when my wife and I were so excited to pick the delivery after four months waiting, the SA told us our monthly income (6k based on my wife's monthly salary alone) too low to lease even when we suggested to pay $20k down on lease (the car price was $94k, we try to lease for 36mos, 10k/year, the payment on Porsche estimator is $912 plus tax). They said bank didn't approve. They insisted us to sign a paper with an interest rate of 3.99% from their bank. I told them we wanted to find our own bank if we finance and they kept saying the purpose to sign the paper was to show my bank to get better rate. We didn't sign and walked away from the dealer for good. Well, I guess when you get some good deal be aware they could come back to play game, even I had the lease buy rate in writing. I guess by pushing us into high finance rate with its partner bank, they will get back what discounted price they promised at the first place. The whole excitement went cold, this is not a happy experience at all. Back 4 months ago, there were two other dealers in the area offered better deal than this one, but my wife wanted to stay with Riverside since it's closer. We had requested a numerous times to get paper work ready so when the car arrived we could just driver it away. The SA assured me there wouldn't be any problem. Now when we came for pick up he told us our lease application was denied. This caught us off guard. We could transfer money from some investment or get loan from our bank, but we felt the whole thing had already made us very unhappy. It is obvious they wanted to be compensated for the deal I've got and they didn't intend to keep their promise in writing. We will get a car from somewhere else. Waiting seems to be long, but 4 months is nothing comparing to years unhappiness from bad experience. read more

I just picked up a 2021 Porsche Cayenne from Porsche Riverside. Charlie Nguyen was the sales person who helped me. He was simply fantastic! Not only did he make the entire transaction smooth and efficient, he was very thoughtful and personable. He worked hard with his management to get me the best deal on my trade. I was driving over to Riverside from the Bay area and was very skeptical about last minute surprises that dealerships spring on you but Charlie assured and ensured that no such thing happened. He had the car ready, washed and cleaned and I was done with the entire transaction in less that 90minutes. The only letdown was the Finance Manager Jermey who was completely disinterested, borderline rude (perhaps part of a bigger racial profiling issue that this dealership has - look at reviews of other folks that come from a different ethnic background) and could do with some self development in customer service. If I hadn't driven 350miles to get the car, I would have walked out due to his arrogant and unhelpful attitude. I have a 800+ credit score and this should have been one of his easier deals, but his attitude just added unnecessary complication. He had a sanitizer on his desk - something that should help everyone in these Covid days, except that it was empty and when I pointed that out to him, the response was simply a shoulder shrug. The dealership is lucky to have assets like Charlie and could invest in some training for people like Jermey, or people like him could easily cause a loss of potential business. The dealership should also look into their 'policy' forcing you to by 'optional' products such as a key warranty - it was only $220, so I chose not to fight it. Overall, I had a good experience, would recommend the dealership and would buy again from them again. read more

The Porsche Riverside dealership is amazing. Our salesman, Jonathan Beitz, was waiting at the showroom doors for us to arrive. My wife and I were welcomed in and treated as if we were valued friends. There were no high pressure tactics employed. Rather Jonathan, was gracious, kind and helpful. The depth of knowledge from his experiences of owning Porsches and in racing provided meaningful insights. Ones which I found to be very helpful in forming expectations of car performance and deciding exactly what I wanted for my wife. Without any solicitation for such, I was given a substantial discount on the price. Wow! Who does that? As we left the lot for an 80 mile trip home Jonathan asked that we call him so that he would know we had arrived safely. We were quite charmed by that. Later, an electrical/mechanical issue arose, one which could never have been anticipated by anyone. It stretched the scope and length of our contact beyond what would be considered the average. What an stress-free experience it was. He and the General Manager called us repeatedly, always apologizing for inconvenience, giving assurances that everything would be paid for and pledges that the problem would be fixed as quickly as possible. During that time Jonathan took calls at his own home and arranged for services outside of his work hours. Jonathan kept us informed of our status every step of the way. We have owned a number of Porsches previously and have had experience with other dealerships. There has been no comparable service with that of Porsche Riverside. If one is possibly able to, this is the dealership to patronize. read more

I purchased a car yesterday from John Beech at Walter's Porsche. In my lifetime I've had the good fortune to purchase a number of vehicles and, accordingly, have worked with a number of sales people. I was very impressed with both John and his finance rep, Andrew Bartoli. John left me with the impression that he is a person of integrity--interested in doing the work necessary to satisfy what it was that I, as his client, wanted. No doubt he could have tried to up-sell me on another vehicle, but he didn't. He left me feeling like he was interested in seeing me get what it was I wanted, without regard for getting a smaller commission on a less expensive vehicle. It is for this reason, among a few others, that I will return to Walter's to purchase our future Porsches from John. As an aside, though I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, John and Andrew facilitated this transaction from Riverside without a problem. John even went the extra mile to pick me up at the airport when I flew down to take delivery on the vehicle. That is "old school" service--I, for one, appreciate that level of thoughtful customer service. If you are reading this review because you are considering the purchase of a Porsche, I encourage you to see John Beech at Walter's. Beside the superior customer service, the pricing was better at Walter's than at any other California dealership (and I checked all of them). A Total Class act service department!!! I live out of town, and I use my 718 gt4 as my daily driver. Consequently, I don't have much time to tie the car up for maintenance/repairs. Explaining this over the phone, Savannah was not only very accommodating to my schedule, but she was also instrumental in sourcing a set of special order Michelin pilot 4S for my GT4 on short notice (The proper N-spec tires were back ordered for weeks on Tire Rack!). Upon arrival, I met with Mike, and we reviewed all that was to be done. Given the amount of work to do, I told Mike that it was totally ok if the car took more than a day to complete. However, Mike was very understanding of my schedule, explaining that they would try to complete everything in one day. After a marathon session, they were able to complete not only the mounting/balancing installation of the tires, but also my 20k mile service/oil change/inspection (while leaving the car spotless!). Mike is extremely thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable, and kept me updated with the car's progress throughout the day. At the end of the service, I was given a very thorough/detailed digital inspection checklist (with a video walkthrough) of essentially everything of importance on the car. I Highly recommend Porsche Riverside. In addition, the costs were very reasonable. 5 stars! read more

I took my Porsche 911 Carrera to the service department because the brakes were noisy. They greeted me as soon as arrived. Because I had an appointment, they already had a loaner vehicle ready for me. Both the servicer advisor, Adrian Madrid and his assistant, who goes by a single initial, "K", were very helpful and friendly. Also, the technicia, Jon is always very helpful. He personally explains the issue when I request to speak to him. Many other dealers don't let you talk to the technician. I was called the next day and told that they found the squeak in the Brakes and were able to get both the brake pads and rotors replaced under warranty by Porsche....I was happily surprised since brakes and rotors are not typically covered under warranty because they are considered a "wear and tear" item. Conrad Castillon, The service manager, told me that the issue was one that allowed it to be covered under warranty. I know he and his team went the extra mile to explain it the issue to Porsche Corporate and arrange for this to be covered under warranty. Both Porsche and the dealership stand behind their brand. They want it to be done right and they want the customer to be pleased. I would always recommend a Porsche. The quality can be felt in the driving experience and at the dealer. read more

From the start, he came across as professional, attentive, and very knowledgeable. This review is for the service ONLY. I have purchased my Porsche from Walter's and has been serviced here since. I love their customer service principle from sales, service to parts. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They always had excellent service advisors. Unfortunately, when I dealt with Domenico Macchia it wasn't the same.....Being a representative in the customer service, we would expect a professional, courteous attitude (Especially a premium brand like Porsche), a friendly and helpful motivation to customer is definitely a plus. Unfortunately it wasn't the case. He complained about how a Porsche service department should be running compared with his previous car manufactures...... Complained about how certain Porsche customers are hard to deal with......And the conversation was to the point of getting personal and he seem very agitated, which made me feel very uncomfortable and awkward..... I loved coming to Walter's for its family, friendly feel environment to deal business with and love to give them my business. But I think I will go other Porsche dealer as long as he is in Walters...... read more

I recently needed to get a new car and had been working with another dealer on a totally different type of car as I was considering something other than Porsche. I was so turned off by their lack of professionalism I called Walters and they rolled out the red carpet!! It was so easy and painless - I basically drove a car one night the very next morning I had options they found me in the color choice I wanted and they were able to get the car and put a deal together for me that same day!! I was able to get everything I wanted on the car and they are able to tint my windows and black out my beautiful wheels on site. All so no hassle for me!! i wish if they have less than one star ,i went to buy a porsche from riverside after talking to salesman by name John Beech he showed me the car and said i don't have to pay the license till June 2019 plus it has a Lo Jack since all the car in this dealer has a Lo Jack 2 days later after going back and force i went today to buy the car after they offered a discount of $1100.00 when i was doing the paper work i found out they will charge me a 655.00 license fee and the sales person after i told him that is not right he told me Porsche not for everybody i got his manager and he apologize about that ,and when i went to the finance i found out that they deactivate the Lo Jack so basically the 1100.00 that was the price of the LoJack that is a cheating big time you think when you are spending this kind of money for a car they respect you and respect themselves but car sales people never change ,so please watch out if you are buying a car from Walter Riverside they are so good in cheating too bad they lost a sale i mean a big sale today read more

Update to my previous review: After posting my initial complaint, Porsche Riverside replied saying they would help resolve my issue. Unfortunately, that turned out to be just for show. Once I followed up, they completely ghosted me again. It's disappointing that a dealership representing a luxury brand like Porsche cares more about appearances than actually fixing customer problems. They promised to handle something as small as a cup holder clip, but weeks later, nothing has been done. This isn't about the money -- it's about trust, professionalism, and keeping promises. If they can't stand behind their word for a small issue, I can't imagine how they would treat something bigger. I wanted to believe they were different after their response, but now I see it was just a tactic to make the dealership look good publicly. Sadly, my opinion of Porsche Riverside has only gotten worse. Be cautious -- they may respond to your review, but don't expect real follow-through. read more

I never write reviews, but I must say I had the best experience I have ever had in the service department, I have purchased many cars over the years. I brought my 2011 Porsche Panamera to get service, it had just gone out of warranty. I spoke with Domenic Macchia and he said it was a very expensive repair and without me knowing he went ahead and contacted Porsche himself and argued that this should not have happened with only 20,000 miles on the car and got Porsche to virtually cover the majority of the cost of the repair. I also must give credit to Porsche for going over and above with their service. When I came to pick up the car the service manager, Conrad Castillon, came out to personally meet me and go over the issues with the car. I have never been treated so well in an automotive service department in my life. If I could give 10 stars they would have it! My experience with Porsche Riverside was a complete letdown. I purchased a "brand new" 2025 Macan 4 EV, only to find it was delivered with over 162 miles on it, a dent, and numerous other damages. The dealership's detailing was shoddy, and it was clear the car wasn't in the pristine condition one expects from a new Porsche. When I brought the car back to be repaired, the service department was careless and added new scratches and scuffs. To make matters worse, the sales manager, Eric Lafever, and my sales person, Javier Parada, was confrontational and accused me of lying in my Google review. Eric completely missed the point that my primary concern was the visible damages as well. The dealership then refused to honor their buy-back offer that the sales manager mentioned to me about, leaving me with a damaged car and a massive sense of regret. This is not the level of service or quality I've come to expect from the Porsche brand. read more
