This place was delicious! The fish was flaky on the inside and crispy on the outside. The french fries were fresh and delicious. My daughter enjoyed her meal and my son-in-law said it's the best fish and chips he's ever had. Even my 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed her meal! Wow! We savored our favorite fish while seated right on the edge of the port and all it's glories! Boats, ferries, fishermen, waves clapping on the pier while Seagulls flew overhead. This place was really fun when we visited Bellingham. The food was good fresh the people working there were super nice and awesome, and there was a cafeteria area nearby where we could sit at table and look out over the water. Stopped by for a quick bite on the way from Anacortes to Downtown Bellingham. Well, unfortunately it was not a quick bite. We were told by the guy that took our order that they would bring the food outside to us when it was ready. We were enjoying the scenery outside and realized it had been a while since we ordered...40 min to be exact. I went in to inquire about our order, and they had said it went out. Nope. I'm still here without my order. It wasn't super busy, but there was 1-2 larger groups that ordered before us so I just thought they were short staffed and/or trying to get those orders out. They rushed our order right away and gave us complimentary soups on the house which were amazing! When I'm in the area again, I look forward to returning. read more

This is a hidden gem in a ferry terminal. Although the salmon for the salad was smaller than expected, the halibut and chips were spot on. We're assuming the current economic situation of 2022 has something to do with the size of the salmon. My wife and I got a sample of the crab bisque and clam chowder, and went for the clam chowder. Went here twice, 2nd time with a friend. Both times the fish was over cooked. Friend's was as well. The kitchen is so small and this is all they do, why would it be over cooked? The fish is breaded, not battered...though battered fish is even more touchy to being overcooked, so maybe that's by plan. On a personal note, not a fan of shoestring fries. They don't hold the heat, if you don't eat them right away, they go cold very fast. They give free refills on fountain drinks (don't know how many times), and the person taking the orders was nice enough. If you don't live in Fairhaven this place is a bit of a trip from anywhere else in town especially since the fish isn't well prepared. I would advise people go elsewhere. read more
