Stopped in for fish and chips on a sunny but windy late winter day. Jeffery our server was great, considerate and professional. The fish was so fresh and crispy! And I don't think I've ever had better coleslaw. The BEST!

We came here out of convenience of the location to our lodging. Our experience was excellent! I had the rockfish and my husband the blackened shrimp fettuccine. We cleaned our plates it was that good. They source locally and we could tell the produce was fresh and excellent quality. For dessert we got both offerings, a warm apple pie like dessert which was wonderful and a crepe dessert which we didn't care for (kind of like cold tortillas with sauce). We had an amazing view of the bay, excellent service and again amazing food! I would definitely come back.

The food was just not good. We got it to go, so not sure about how it is dining in but the portions were very small and on the pricier side. The grilled octopus came with 2 small octopus and undercooked lentils. The calamari was undercooked. The clam chowder was good. Service was very good, staff were nice and friendly.

If you're looking for a place that offers a nice view, huge portions of food and is by the beach area, Bay Breeze is a solid stop. Came here with a big group and overall, had a nice dining experience here. Things to note: - View: If you want a nice view of the sea, do recommend putting in a reservation and requesting this in advance. Totally worth the extra effort. - Service: Friendly staff! Our server definitely did a great job with accommodating my group as we had a couple of small kids. - Cocktails: Wowzer, these drinks pack a nice kick. Definitely recommend ordering one of the many yummy drinks on the menu. Well crafted and worth the taste. - Food: Overall, generous portion for the dishes and quality was excellent. The menu is quite extensive ranging from typical seafood to some Asian fusion style ones. So definitely take a look at all of the options. For me, had the pleasure to try: - Calamari: Sauce had a nice spicy kick to it surprisingly... pretty good overall - Sriracha Shrimp: Not too spicy but I love the broth! Very hearty and dipping the crispy calamari with this was a pretty good combo - Surf & Turf Salad: This thing was huge!!!! Loaded with super fresh veggies, juicy steak and plump shrimp, I was stuffed by the time I finished this dish. Definitely a shareable dish for those who aren't as hungry. Plus, the sesame sauce = sooo good. - Price: Very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you order.

My hamburger with cheddar cheese, bacon, and ketchup. Next to it: my fry's. All were really good!

The only thing that I can complain about is the weird brown spot on the wall and how the fries were greasy, and that's literally it! My server was VERY nice, the crab cake was DIVINE, and the hamburger was AMAZING! I went with my mom, and she said her chicken sandwich was awesome too! Would recommend. this is going on my list of best restaurants!

    Clam Chowder

The bar suggestions were perfect. We wanted a Hot Buttered Rum but we ended up with an Old Fashioned and Hot Toddy which were very tasty. We've ordered the Bang bang shrimp several times, excellent. The clam chowder had a lot of clams and tasted wonderful.

New menu is great - service was slow but friendly and they were a bit overwhelmed when we came early on a Saturday night. Loved our cocktails and the fish & chips - the fish had a light batter (reminded me of tempura) and the fries were delicious. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and were surprised it was more of a salad than a shrimp dish - it was good and had lots of avocado, my husband loved the round shrimp but I found the batter to be too thick. Definitely will be back to try more of the new menu soon!

Each used n/a spirits (n/a mezcal in the latter) and a symphony of sophisticated ingredients, which wish I tell you what. Each had a speared dried citrus slice and a luscious ginger bite (or something!) a top. The first had included honey, but it wasn't sweet--just complexified with a little snap to it that the honey smoothed; the second was a little sweeter in tone, including a bit of huckleberry along with the mezcal. (Connor might recall them by my play name for them. Inspired by a book in my hand on collecting meteorites, I nicknamed the first the "Extraterrestrial Visitor" and the second the "Heavenly Visitor.") They were so delicious I suggested he put them on the menu. If he does or doesn't, no matter. Just ask him if he has time to get creative for you. He'll ask you flavor tone preferences, or you can just go for whatever he wants to make, like I did. Again, he is excellent. I enjoyed my lovely drinks with a Caesar salad (another OMG!) which included crispy bacon bits and loads of tiny shreds of a delicious white cheese along with a creamy dressing. It was scrumptious as was the very lovely charcuterie plate. Pistachios, green apple slices, fat outstanding Castelvetrano olives (caution: with pits), a luscious pepper jelly that went beautifully dipped into with their choice of excellent crackers, delicately flavored salami and a prosciutto so elegantly-flavored it could make you weep. And it was lovely enjoying it all on their "porch" on a sunny day.

The place has potential but honestly disappointed. See photo below of the Hummus Platter. Really? Next came the "Baked Brie with Figs & Cherries" - which sounded delicious. No figs in sight - yes, a ramekin of baked brie with a bit of cherry in it, but... uninspired. We also ordered the Stuffed Potobello - and left most of it on the plate. Pros? It was close to our hotel, and has charming half-moon booths. Summary? Uninspired with potential.

There is definitely at least one back room, but the main dining room is a bright, airy space that has access to a patio where may even be some live music playing. The tables are gorgeous - all live edge, which might create a bit of an issue if you have short arms and are used to stealing bites across the table, but they are absolutely beautiful and a nice nod to the area. The wine list is extensive and a bit overwhelming, but the service is happy, friendly, and very knowledgeable. In fact, I love when servers don't know, admit it, and find the answer for you - it's humble and shows they really care at getting you what you want. We got the orange wine, which is a new favorite of mine. It's like a rose for reds. Rose:White::Orange:Red. More savory, still light, and best chilled. We had the beet hummus app, which is definitely best eaten with your hands. It's light and delicious. We had the miso black cod, a personal favorite, and the lasagna for dinner and while both were good, the accoutrements with the cod were the true standout. Amazing and I could probably eat two of them. As the restaurant operates on a seasonal menu, we had a strawberry rhubarb cobbler for dessert. I know there is Sunday Brunch, and I can't wait to try it. It's not the cheapest, but it's one of the nicer restaurants in Whatcom, and is definitely worth your pennies. Everything about it makes for a truly nice experience, and we'll definitely be back.

It is the worse hard liquor I have ever bought. Lavender?? No, just some slightly amber gin that I can't even mix with anything. Whitley Niell makes a great Parma Lavender Gin that I first tried in a cocktail in Portsmouth UK. It isn't sold in Canada anymore unfortunately and was only for a short period. That was the reason I snapped up the Roots and Wings gin but I am resigned to using it for cleaning. I did try some of their other products and only the Abisnstine impressed me. I would have loved to have given a great review of their liquor but that wasn't possible. Drinking their cocktails is a different thing as they have a great mixologist. My advice- visit them, get a sample before buying, and buy only what tastes good to you. Everyone has different tastes.

I was the only there since it was 1pm on a Monday after all. Was about to grab to an Old Fashion after looking at their online menu, but was then told that they did flights so that's what I got. The flight; You choose six from a list of about 15. They do primarily vodka, but they do have some whiskey, gin, and even am Absinthe. I was very happy with all 6 and would order them again. I won't really go into any detail about each spirit since everyone has their own preference when it comes to alcohol. What I can say is that their Old Fashioned Spirit was my favorite. The service: The person working at the time was really friendly and helpful. Willing to answer questions about the spirits and make recommendations. The distillery: It's small and due to Covid Protocols they're only accepting 6 people in the building; however, they have a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. Their pick-up truck bar is the most eye catching so that's where we sat. I'd 100% come back here and if I lived in Langley I'd probably make this place one of my go to hangouts.

I was really disappointed that they only did brunch 1 day a week, but we did come back for it. Service every time was wonderful. The appetizer was bruschetta which is a go-to for me. It was delicious, however the balsamic was really thick and there probably shouldn't have been so much. I did happily eat it all. For the dinner we had scallop with red pepper risotto and mushroom pierogis. The scallops were big and perfectly cooked. The red pepper risotto however was a little overwhelming in the red pepper flavor. My husband thought it was delicious and ate it. The pierogis seemed really underwhelming and store bought. It was cheese pierogis with mushroom and arugula on the outside. I feel like if they were made in-house, the mushroom would be on the inside. They were still really good and I ate them all as well. The brunch is the thing I waited for. The lemon ricotta pancakes were to die for! They were so perfectly soft and cakey. I sadly couldn't eat them all because they were so large so I recommend sharing. Those were definitely the star of the show. I don't plan to come back to this area but if I do I would 100% come here again for the brunch. The dinner menu does change by season so I recommend looking at the menu online.
